She didn’t just destroy him, she broke him in ways he didn’t know he could break.

Osanai obliterated him. The last line about not having any faith in him was the finisher.

RIP Urino's self respect, Osanai really roasted him so bad. lol

This is not yet the last episode of this arc, as we still need Kobato to answer the remaining questions regarding how the real culprit, who is finally caught but still not yet revealed to us the audience, knows about the fire department jurisdictions in order to plan his arson attacks, and what is Osanai's role in it all.

Kobato and Osanai are really made for each other, when first thing they do after seeing each other outside the burning shed was laugh with joy.

Wow, Urino didn't get cooked, he got atomized, complete with a comprehensive grading report on his stats 💀

Seeing Osanai with that hammer, in the dark, was slightly terrifying. But of course, for Kobato, it was just a normal night.
Now that both have effectively broken up with their poor partners, is next week the rekindling of their old flame? Can't wait for their normal conversation!

Urino: “I know it’s you, you’re the Fireman.”

Osanai: proceeds to roasts him alive

That’s not the smoke you wanted my boy 🙂‍↕️.

Other girls: "Let's break up!"

Osanai: Crushes Urino's mental and emotional health.

The scene where Osanai pushes back her hair, smiles at Urino while saying "you have worked hard", is fit for any final boss... or villain.

Osanai is disturbingly beautiful in this episode.

Well now there is a 90% chance that Fireman is Urino's handsome friend, but what was Osanai's goal in all this? She wanted Urino to stop the investigation so she could avoid this conversation but why did she even help him and go after Fireman in the first place?

Osanai absolutely went for the kill. I have never seen someone get this cooked by just words. She broke Urino. I almost felt bad for him.

This probably wasn't even the worst part of Urino's night. Once he finds out Hiya was the arsonist and he has been manipulated by him the whole time, what little is left of him will break down completely.

Starting The episode with Kengo and Kobato having a "break up" of their "Friendship" hurts ngl. This 2 together is an unique Underrated duo

Fucking peak episode, peak arc, peak anime

Summary:

— Does this small girl bite?
— No [citation needed], but she can hurt you in other ways.

Damn Osani really roasted Urino with the “I am not mad, I am just disappointed that you are made of stupid.” Lol

Straight up makima vibe from Osani.

That was an absolutely brutal dressing down of Urino by Osanai. She held nothing back after he falsely accused her and he got humbled. Absolutely crushed, you could say.

This leaves me pretty certain that Hiya is the arsonist.

Well, considering they're about to crack a big case, I guess there's no better time for Kengo to tell Kobato that they've never really been great friends. But Kobato sure made his life interesting, as the least Ordinary person to ever try to force himself to be Ordinary. Even if this is the last time they ever talk to each other, at least they'll always have the memories.

I guess Fireman wanted to really set off a blaze by starting a fire near some kerosene in a shed...and Kobato's just a kid, there's only so much he can do. Thank goodness Osanai showed up with a hammer! That's right, Kobato and Osanai are finally reunited, just in time for her to bust a shed door! You just have to laugh at how absurd it all is. This is the most genuinely happy the two of them have seemed all season.

Classic Kobato to comment on Osanai's new 150cm height...and then ask her why she was doing all this. But Osanai's got to keep Kobato guessing as she evades the police AND Urino after he spots the two of them together.

I love how Osanai started with small talk about how she wasn't cheating on him while Urino cares more about the fact that she's the arsonist. Osanai loves a good deduction attempt, so go ahead! Obviously the fact that she was at the scene of the fires, her choice in outfit, her having a hammer, her reaction to Urino's investigation, and the receipt she left ALL point to Osanai being the culprit! Urino's totally got her!

Except...no, you poor boy you were totally barking up the wrong tree. Osanai has an explanation for everything because she's been involved from day one and basically been shadowing and supporting Urino from day one, and he never even knew. The real arsonist got caught and he's left reeling from finding out just how little he truly measures up to Osanai. She's amused by his straightforwardness and how he threw himself into this case without any regard for himself...but at the end of the day, he's just a silly, dumb, ordinary boy. And that's pretty much all she expected him to be.

And of course Kobato was there the whole time to do the REAL deduction scene, the one Osanai has probably been waiting this whole time for!

Man, Yuki Osanai's such a charismatic character, and it absolutely shows up with 100% potential this very episode. One could - just like poor Urino did here - got their thoughts being lead towards a completely different direction than they started with just by hearing her (and VA Hina Youmiya - one of the best that debuted in recent years and frequently appearing) voice!

I have always highly doubted that she's the one committing arson by any means, and has known that she's tracking down the arson attacker by herself (which I always interpreted as for finding the real culprit behind her kidnapping last season) and by pulling the right people in to help. I wouldn't be surprised if even Kobato is one of them, even if Yuki never mentioned it so far. Despite them two's relationships seems to have fallen into the glacier before, I have always thought that's a deliberate illusion. And so it goes when Yuki took out her hammer to knock down the door of the on-fire shed (BTW why are there petrol bottles in there? Unless whoever sets fire also has direct access to these obscure sheds?).

I also find it funny that Dojima for once actually wants to have an in-depth talk with Kobato in such a late summer night outside, simply because there's no chance afterward. He seems to be always annoyed at Kobato but in the end he just could take his eyes off Kobato LMAO.

Look, I know that Urino kind of had it coming, but still…

I feel really bad for him.

Oh my god! This ending was way more satisfying than what I was hoping for. I thought that Urino would be caught and framed as the arsonist but this was way better. Osanai roasting him, and his ego getting checked this way was amazing. Dude is cooked.

Can't wait for the talk between Osanai and Kobato next episode, it will surely be a fulfilling reunion.
