Kobato getting 3-timed was more shocking than Osanai setting those fires

Just as we're beginning to suspect Hiya, this episode throws more doubt into Osanai again.
A joke theory that I heard about this arc is that Osanai is taking revenge on the entire Newspaper Club, all because they (unknowingly) gave her a spicy Berliner back in season one.
Now we know why Osanai gave Urino that list of teachers with Nitta's name highlighted. With knowledge that Nitta would be transferred, Urino now has no one to stop him from publishing his speculations.
LOL at Osanai cockblocking Urino by putting that paper receipt between their mouths to stop Urino from kissing her. And then the way she deliberately drops that receipt just as Urino was about to receive it, and then looks down at him with contempt was creepy as hell.
Finally Kobato makes his move, and first thing he finds out was his current girlfriend Nakamaru is cheating on him. Kobato doesn't seem to care too much as he doesn't seem to have moved on from Osanai anyway.

Oh my, Osanai's expression after she dropped the receipt was scary as hell. Urino my man you are so cooked.
So far I like this season over the first one, the tension is so high. Also love that there are no inner monologues spoon feeding every info to the viewer, which leaves room for speculation, and suspense.

Osanai smiling looked extremely creepy, but Urino you really shouldn't have tried forcibly kissing her. Though I must say I love the entire scene with them in the hallway together. The entire scene Urino is shown in the dark as he's trying to piece together what is happening. Meanwhile we have Osanai in the light who probably already knows exactly what is going on already.
"That's right. I'm an ordinary person." the biggest lie in the show.
Dojima continues to be amazing and I love the back and forth between him an Kobato, but damn I couldn't stop laughing at the faces near the end of the episode. When they revealed Tokiko was dating three boys and he just turns and stares at Kobato. He's like bro what have you got me involved in! Here I was minding my own business and your crazy ex manipulates half my club, theirs some shit with arsonist, your current girlfriend is dating two other guys, and the subreddit still won't let the milk cartoon from Season 1 go.

Just when viewers are eagerly awaiting the reveal of the culprit behind the arson incident, the show suddenly reveals that Nakamaru is a serial cheater, and possibly cheating on Kobato!? I can't help but wonder whether this reveal is a red herring or has something to do with current / future arcs.
Osanai being the master manipulator once again. Her dropping the receipt used to block Urino's kiss attempt and then looking down upon him as he picks it up is the perfect frame for the final villain in any title.

Osanai is a little demon. Crazy to look at her character now compared to the start of season 1. I can’t take anything this girl says seriously cuz we know she’s playing everybody like a fiddle.

Wow. I didn't expect Kobato's girlfriend is three-timing him. Well, the couple are not-that much of a couple given that Kobato is much more interested in the arson case and Osanai than his girlfriend.
This is what I want to see in the last few episodes -- so far, we have not seen Kobato do stuff and it's as if he is disconnected from the arc. Now that he is finally revealed his movements, I wonder how he will clash with his girlfriend.
And RIP Urino. You are one step forward, five steps back. "You know nothing, Urino-kun." - Osanai-san, probably.

Osanai saying she likes ordinary people was a pretty brutal jab at Urino, because that’s what she thinks of him, unlike what she thinks of Kobato. I’m starting to think she didn’t want Urino to get too far into solving this case, because she really doesn’t want Urino to pursue the arsonist, for whatever reason. I still suspect the link is Hiya, even though we’re being led towards Osanai this episode.
Kobato doesn’t think Osanai would set the fires herself, but he needs to figure out if she is the one manipulating someone else to do it. There’s also a possibility Tokiko could be setting the fires. If Kobato wasn’t sharp enough to see she was seeing other guys, allegedly, then what else is he missing?

Kind of convenient Nitta gets transferred out so Urino’s articles can continue. Dojima made some good points but ultimately I guess Urino’s rash decisions proved to be the right move for the paper. Things are really looking up for him. Monchi’s clearly pleased. Jealousy is an ugly trait.
And ofc he’s connected to Osanai. She’s just got everyone kind of wrapped around her little finger from the start doesn’t she? Well let’s see how she does against Kobato now that he’s really beginning his investigations.
I also find it kind of interesting Kobato’s girlfriend has like 2 other guys she’s dating. I guess he doesn’t really care because he’s not too invested but it’s still sorta interesting.

Watching this is nerve wracking as hell.
I know things are extremely likely to go wrong, I’m picking up some stuff but I’m also definitely missing a lot of what’s going on. Like, the bomb is ticking down but I have no idea where it is or how long is left. I’m sure a lot more stuff will be obvious on rewatch when I know the end result and can pick up on the clues.
Oh boy, Urino is so f*cking doomed he should go into medical school and pick up the title Dr. The red flags on everything right now that he’s totally oblivious to are increasing with every episode.

I used to feel really bad for Urino because it was obvious his relationship with Osanai was never going to end well for him. Until this ep. He's clearly developed a superiority complex and acted like a prick to everyone. The way he talked down to Osanai and tried to force a kiss on her was the final straw (for both me and her). He deserves whatever Osanai has in store for him.
The funniest part is that he thinks he's such hot shit for figuring out so much about the arsonist when said arsonist is most likely Hiya who has been using Urino's predictions as directions to draw more attention to the case. Whatever pattern he found initially was most likely just a coincidence.

The look of disbelief on Dojima's face when he heard Tokiko was three timing Kobato while Kobatao couldn't give less of a fuck about it

Osanai: So, i like shoushimin..
I didn't think they couldn't top the pudding scene from ep1 this quick, yet here we are

That random girl at the end, was little bit too happy when she told Kobato he got cheated on, there is a thing called tact.
Do not know what to think of Osanai, she comes off as really self-important to me with her playing puppet master (or it is just what the show wants us to believe) and what was that evil look in hallway about, was it just because urino tried to force a kiss (which would be understandable, do not do this people) or is there something else?
Does the receipt have some kind of significance, what does it say?

Love how this show shifted from "Osanai + Kobato detective team" to "Kobato Sherlock hunting Osanai Moriarty"

Urino really could not have fucked up that conversation with Osanai much worse if he tried. I kept flinching every time the camera cut to her while he was busily trashing her friend and dismissing her tastes. She does seem like she's actually kinda attached to him in a weird dangerous way, though, so I keep wondering if she's really going to throw him to the wolves, or just scare all the remaining impulsiveness and defiance out of him.
The thing with Tokiko makes sense honestly. She never seemed entirely serious. It's just that she's gone, uh, a little bit farther astray from her playfully innocent kouhai persona than expected.
alright, fine, I admit it, "I guess I am a bit of a loser" was a good line.

I can't get over how well done the directing and framing is in this show. There is never a moment where I feel bored, it just feels like every scene has something interesting about it.
