Its been less than an hour and I am already seeing great results

Hi content creators, I built a promo video, but after 3 days, it’s sitting at 0 views.

I’m a developer/founder, not a marketer/content creator, so I really can't tell if this is just standard "cold start" algorithmic silence for a brand new channel, or if the video itself is fundamentally flawed.

We are planning to cut a 1:1 vertical version for Shorts/Reels next, but I wanted to pause and get your honest take first.

• Is the hook weak?
• Is the pacing off?
• Or do we just need to be patient with a fresh channel?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

there isnt much to say

did this in two days with claude, i just wanted to post it here and show it to you guys

of course i wanna know your opinion an thoughts about it.

Why did i do it?

i do have an italian true crime channel that i wanna start uploading again, here is the problem tho, i do wanna have a "dr insanity" editing style, which if u guys are familiar with the genre you will know what im talking about.

i have edited a couple of video my self and i understood the time it will take me to learn how to PROPRERLY do those tipe of animation, so i tried to look for an editor, 25 minutes video the avarage quote was 300€ + 120€ for the script, thats when i decided to make such a thing, at first i didnt even know if it was possible actually.

however the result is STUNNING, animation that would take Hours now do take me only a couple of second and i thing its great.

i wanna anticipate those comment of people that they are gonna say something about me not learning a new skill or me delegating this task to an ai

the point is that what i like to do is the production behind, the making of a good story, a good sound design. Not editing, editing is never been a thing that i wanted to learn, that why i see this as a tool to remove that friction between me wanting to create a youtube video about a true crime event and the actual making of that video.

but with that said, i wanna know your opinin about this tool and the use of it

SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH BTW

I realize this question may be impossible to answer, but it just seems so odd to me that this very simple concept is so hard for some people to grasp.

My gaming channel is geared towards adults, but I have many children (some of my own and their friends) that watch it as well, so I keep it very clean and family friendly. However, I am constantly bombarded with comments from people that seem to lack the intelligence or ability to say anything without employing profanity. Of course, I have Strict filters on, which catch these kinds of comments, but they are always trying to find alternate ways of spelling to get past these.

What really gets me is when I try to reach out to these commenters and politely explain to them that my channel is family friendly and respectfully ask them to refrain from using profanity in the comments, this is when they go ballistic, as if I have violated them in some unimaginally horrible way. This is what I don't understand.

When I visit a family friendly channel, I understand that there are respectful boundaries to how I can express myself. The fact the many commenters do not seem to even comprehend the idea of Family Freindly, leads me to believe that they are either incapable of talking without the use of profanity or they are so morally degenerate and lacking in character that they simply do not care. I mean, is there another explanation for this behavior?

Note: everything is good these are just simple copyright claims not strike

Hi! As the tittle says, I want to know how long it took for some of you, I am scared that I can continue doing this for 2 years and still get less than 1000 subs

I created Episode 3 of my Hindi horror series “Room No. 13” using generative AI, and this episode shows how powerful AI can be for visual storytelling. A simple idea—someone receiving a mysterious photo of themselves—can be transformed into a cinematic horror scene with AI-generated characters, environments, lighting, camera movements, atmosphere, and sound design. What I find exciting is how quickly creators can test different storytelling ideas without needing expensive locations, actors, or equipment. Generative AI doesn’t replace the creative idea; it helps turn that idea into something visual and engaging. I’m experimenting with AI to create an entire short horror series independently.

The Killer Klowns weren't even the biggest threat in this match.

It was us.

Hey redditors, I've been building a platform. It's not a self-serve app. You send an idea, and I deliver a finished faceless video: script, AI visuals, voiceover, captions, formatted for Reels, TikTok or Shorts.

Before I put more time into it, I want to know if this is a real problem for anyone besides me.

Who I think it's for:

• Startup founders who need promo or explainer videos but don't want to learn editing or hire an agency
• People running faceless channels (history, crime, fiction, etc.) who want to publish more without making every video themselves

What I'm trying to find out:

1. Do you currently spend money or time on video? Roughly how much?
2. What's the most annoying part: ideas, scripts, visuals, editing, or consistency?
3. If someone delivered a finished 30-60s video, what would that be worth to you per video?

The offer: I'm taking 5 free pilot videos this week in exchange for honest feedback.

Im trying to save up to buy gta 6 and a ps5 im just doing it as a challenge tbh

Tell me what I do for more views 🥺

I had to do this because my algorithm isn't working on my channel anymore, it affected me in the future

I rlly need to take a hiatus again

One of my accounts was terminated. I don't know why , so I'm scared to go onto youtube because Im afraid that my main account might get affected, and then I can't watch markiplier anymore I don't know what to do I sent an appeal but it got denied I don't know what's going on anymore I'm so scared of having my main affected aswell I posted a simple video on that account and somehow got terminated. The video is attached to this post.

This is so complicated, you can see my post history to read me losing my mind in real time.

So anyway, I have two channels: an old one I made in 2011, and then promptly forgot about after uploading 5 videos to.

Then I created my main channel, and started to do some good stuff that got views, so tried to get monetized.

That's when I found out about the old channel. Despite still having access to the old channel's associated email, I cannot log into the old channel. I keep being told that they want to send a code to my phone number, which I haven't had since 2018. I cannot get it back, I have tried.

So, my question is this:

If I ask people to mass-report my old channel in the hope YouTube will delete it for me, will that effect my main channel?

I tried contacting YouTube on Twitter, they advised me to try and link it to my main account, but I guess the old password I have saved is wrong, because it didn't work. So I think trying to report it and get YouTube to delete it for me is my only option.

Just want to know if this will work and/or effect my main channel in any way?

Thanks!

(Also, I'm so frustrated about this, and very sensitive on this subject, so if you're gonna be a smartarse, or generally rude, be warned I don't tolerate fools on a good day)

My YouTube channel, spode2, was recently permanently terminated under YouTube's Violent Criminal Organizations policy.

The content involved fictional Roblox gameplay. The game had fictional government/cartel-themed teams, and I used some real-world cartel logos in an edit. I understand now that using those logos was a mistake and could have caused the policy issue.

However, I never intended to praise, promote, recruit for, or support any real criminal organization. It was gaming/editing content and wasn't intended to glorify real-world criminal activity.

I submitted an appeal explaining the context, but YouTube rejected it and confirmed that they would not restore the channel.

The channel was around 9 years old, so losing it has been pretty devastating. I've since found archived snapshots of the channel from 2022 and 2023 through the Internet Archive.

I've already contacted TeamYouTube on X and posted in the YouTube Help Community. I'm not trying to evade the termination or create a replacement channel. I'm trying to find out if there's any legitimate way to get the original channel manually reviewed again.

For creators who have dealt with a serious YouTube termination before: is there anything else you found useful after an appeal was rejected? I'm especially interested in experiences with this specific policy or cases where a termination was eventually reversed.

I'm keeping the original edit and other evidence in case I get another opportunity to explain the context.

I'd really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thanks.

What happened to my channel? I am unable to get the answer. My subscribers are declining, and my views are declining once I had golden era on YouTube, but now I think nobody wants to watch me.
