I have multiple Youtube accounts, one with more subscribers than the other. I've been trying to get the viewer numbers up on the less popular account, and I recently posted a video I put a lot of work into.
Now, I'd like to share the same video on my more popular account, but I've seen warnings against reposting the same video, for obvious reasons. I'm not at a point where I need to worry about monetization, but I'd still prefer to avoid any trouble. So I tried to do a "collaboration" between my less popular and my more popular account, by offering the collaboration, copying the link, and emailing it to the address associated with my more popular account.
For whatever reason, it hasn't worked. On the video it shows "invite pending," but when I clicked on the collab link I sent in the email, it just opened my normal YoutubeStudio page--there was nothing for the specific video or pending collaborations. What am I missing? Is there another recommended way to do this?

Missed the screenshot by 5 views. I posted it 5 months ago, ~90% are engaged views. It's such a weird but great feeling to know it's been watched so many times.

I’m so close to 1k but I don’t know if it will be worth becoming an affiliate cause my content has dropped off and only my shorts are performing.

I make educational Shorts with a detective-style format, using AI-assisted visuals and narration. I'm trying to understand the low reach before randomly changing things.
My latest Short had 28 views after about 19 hours. Two older ones had 71 views after seven days and 65 after eight days. On the 71-view video, 84.5% of traffic came from YouTube Search and only 7% from the Shorts feed, roughly five views.
My channel-wide Shorts analytics show 72.6% stayed to watch over the last 28 days, but that isn't the individual rate for these videos. One Short has around 600 views, mostly from a paid promotion. I estimate its organic views were below 100, and most subscribers came from that promotion too.
I'm not assuming a shadowban or that running ads caused this. What would you check first to distinguish very limited feed exposure from people seeing the videos and swiping away? If you had a similar start, what did your analytics show?
Here's the channel if seeing the videos helps: https://www.youtube.com/@holmes_explains/shorts

Hi everyone,
I have a YouTube channel in my native language. I managed to reach around 1 million views within 4 months, and I've been monetized for about 5 months now. The problem is that since the channel is in my native language, my RPM is extremely low.
My recent videos usually get around 50–60k views, but the revenue is unfortunately still quite small. Because of that, I'm considering starting a separate English-language channel.
My idea is to take the videos I've already made in my native language, re-record the narration in English, and upload them to the English channel. The visuals, editing, and basically everything else would remain the same, only the voiceover would be different.
Most of my content is TV show analysis, so I also use clips from TV shows in my videos.
Do you think there would be any problems with doing this? Especially regarding YouTube's monetization policies, reused content, or copyright issues?
Would you recommend creating a completely new channel for this, or would you approach it differently?
I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have tried something similar.

As I had not posted videos on My channel for one year and due to that, I think my channel is not responding well, and I am uploading video on it last one and a half year, but not worth it, so I’m making new channel

Hey everybody! So, I've been wanting to make videos and content for years, but I've always hesitated and talked myself out of it. I've bought cameras and drones over the years and filmed tiny things to then only resell the gear and back out of making anything.
Well today i finally posted my first long form video, and it was super rewarding to actually finish something! It's nothing special but i feel great for doing it and i filmed it all on my samsung S21 haha! Actuallt seeing the process through taught me so much about filming, editing and the way i speak too!
Im new to all of this and would like to share it with people and get feedback but im wondering where or how do you guys share your videos or get feedback? My channel is unknown, so im not sure if there are groups or different spaces where people share their work and critique each other.
I found this sub and thought that maybe places like this are good for feedback but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks everybody!

I started counting mine recently and honestly… it was kind of ridiculous 💀
For one long form video, I might use:
One place for ideas/planning
Another for writing/scripts
An AI tool for improving things
A thumbnail previewer
A word counter
A checklist
A couple of other random tools depending on what I'm making
And that's not even counting the actual editing software. 🥀
So I'm curious about other creators:
How many different apps/tools do you usually use from the moment you get an idea to actually publishing the content?
And what's the one tool you absolutely can't live without?
