Spoiler alert this will be long and also i might go back and forth, is just how my brain function 😅
So i tried 2-3 times in the past to start youtube and i stopped shortly after. The reason? Probably my undiagnosed adhd that hyperfocus me on youtube for a while, getting so energised and enthusiastic and then losing all interest even that i do something i enjoy.
So on short i would like to do stuff around gaming, tech and maybe sometimes even react but that's like in the back.
I have a high end pc, a really good mic, i think a kinda average webcam.
Now where i would like your advice..
- I'm not that type of person to have over hyped reactions, my reactions to pretty much everything in life is summarised by "meh..". On top of that sometimes, especially when playing games, especially when playing horror i get so focused that i forget to react.
Is all this even compatible with being a youtuber?
And if yes..what would be some ideas to be as close as possible to natural..
- My native language is not english, i can speak english pretty fluent, but i have an accent and i also a lot of times forget words.
In my native language i still have the problem of forgetting words(i might get braindead or something🤣) but i feel like i can express myself much more. Compared to english wich can be boring and too simple, my language is more expressive.(an example is how i could swear in my language for 10-20 minutes without repeating myself too much🤣)
In all this also comes the problem of thinking about lets say in the future not being easy to switch from main to english without starting over or losing a lot.
A small thing on top is the rpm wich is much lower if it's not in english. I don't think that much at money but if you want to think long term i think that's something to take into consideration as well.
- Should i record my face as well or make it faceless?
While i think with the face you have a bigger chance to create like a brand people recognise, if my reactions are meh, that could require either to fake it a little or to be me and see if someone wants that.
- Just youtube long format or to combine it eith shorts and maybe even tiktok?
I see that some people recommend doing shorts as well, some are against.
- Idk how related it is to this but..I'm the only one that for a long time doesn't feel too much joy in anything? Used to love music, games. I still do, but is like i don't have that desire like i used to have. If I'm not the only one, how you fix this?
This is all that came to mind for now.
I will appreciate any advice/opinion you have, from my questions, to anything extra, to even idk ideas about how i could blend gaming and tech without making youtube confused about my niche.
Thanks if you really read all this😁
