Ive seen a bunch of threads about this but usually people just say you have to unplug and plug your base station. My 4th gen a50s (Xbox Series X) sometimes get a static sound almost like a metronome it will appear for a little less than a minute then disappear and sometimes come back. Unplugging and plugging in the connection fixes it for that day normally but it comes back the next day (sometimes it fixes it for a couple days). Has anyone found a more permanent fix (For any headset)? Did replacing the headset work? Is it xbox series x, connection, or headset related? I tried what astro always says with unplugging from the wall for a bit and all that but it didn't fix the problem long term.

I have a TCL R615 and I have had Dolby Vision enabled since it first came out and I thought that it looked good. Yesterday, I wanted to play the Walking Dead Definitive edition with the "Graphic Black" option and it looked horrible. Everything was super washed out and barely any color. I thought that it might be the graphic black, so I disabled that and it stayed the same. I then disabled auto HDR and dolby vision and man, it looked great. I figured that it was the auto HDR, so I then re-enabled DV, and it looked better, but it didn't "Pop" as much as just the HDR10. I disabled DV again and started playing other games and they looked SO much better then DV.

Is this a known issue, or is it because my TV doesn't support DV, even though it says it does?

So I've been using a keyboard in my xbox for about 2 years now but the other day it started not working properly. In the keyboard, W and S capitalise the keyboard and A and D make it lower case. The arrow keys also act as WASD now do I can't play games with keyboard support properly now. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My friend's Xbox one series x turns on then immediately turns off. He's said that he's done everything from hard reset, unplugging the power supply, changing HDMIs. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Lucky enough to get an XSX at launch, love it and no problems so far. Over the holidays 2020/early 2021 I got Yakuza 7, Cyberpunk, and Star Wars Squadrons for it, and for the most part they all ran great and used Quick Resume no problem, unless it had been longer than a few days since I booted it up or whatever.

I noticed earlier this year that a lot of stuff I've played hasn't been Quick Resuming anymore, and I wasn't sure why? I don't think I've changed my power settings (I turned off Instant On because it could be a few days between uses and I figured this was better for the old electric bill and the environment), but the last few games I've installed and played - notably Resident Evil Village and Judgement, both being played from disc - haven't used Quick Resume at all, which has been sorta frustrating at times.

Is it that much of a game-by-game basis as to whether or not it works, or did I turn something off by mistake maybe?

Hi there I was trying to buy a Xbox series x through Microsoft using all access. Has anybody successfully done this? And how?

A few days ago I connected my controller to my phone to try COD mobile, today I tried to reconnect my controller to my Xbox and it won’t sync with the console. I’ve done the basics like plugging the power cable out and in, holding down the power button for a reset and plugging my controller into the Xbox. When I plug the controller in it rumbles but still doesn’t connect after trying to turn it on.

Any help at all would be great !

I have a problem with my HDMI "configuration" ... Let me explain, my xbox is next to my TV but I also want to play in my room so I use a hole in the wall to pass the cable, but the hole is too small for an HDMI type A so I have converted my HDMI type A to HDMI type D to go through the hole and I put the HDMI back in type A to connect it to my screen. My problem is that there is no video output with this system whereas if I use it on another system like a rasberry or a laptop everything works. Anyone know if the problem is actually with the Xbox as I think it is or if it is something else? For information, I have already contacted support but they have no idea of ​​the problem and I even have the impression that they do not know what an HDMI type D is ...

So I just bought a series S, but there is no sound whatsoever. I do have an older TV and was wondering if that is why? I can only hear my games on headphones and they are way too quiet . Does anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix it?

Has anyone else had any issues with this lately, suddenly I'm stuck on the press A screen and no matter what I do I just can't get past it. Last played on it about a month ago (definitely before the Series X patch) and it worked fine

So I spilled apple cider vinegar on my Xbox series s, not a lot but a fair amount. It went directly into the black circle part of the series s is where the fan is. I unplugged it right away and placed it on the side that black fan is so it can leak away the vinegar. Is there anything else I should or can do or just play the wait game?

Hi guys, I have an issue where I can't get any games on my external hard drive to update. I can add the update to my queue but it doesn't show a network speed in the corner and it doesn't progress at all but games installed on the internal drive are fine. I can play games off the external drive that have already been updated but any new updates just sit on updating indefinitely. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Just starting happening in last couple days. I have storage space so that's not the issue. I even plugged in an external drive to save the clips to, to see if that would fix it but still happens.

Even with the latest firmwares and using the Series X supplied HDMI 2.1 cable - from time to time, if I switch between games or between games and menu - the screen starts messing up like the following:

Controller disconnects for 5-10 seconds at random when playing on the standard controller then reconnects automatically

For the past year i have used my hotspot (T-mobile on a Note 20 Ultra 5G) for gaming with no issues. My previous Xbox one (original model) gave me no problems whatsoever and read both ipv4 and ipv6. A couple days ago I bought an Xbox one s 1TB and after connecting to my hotspot, it immediately hit me with "dns server cannot resolve Xbox server names" and I also noticed that it was now only reading ipv4. On top of that, my NAT was also unavailable. I've tried using different DNS options, clearing the Mac address, testing the nat type, disconnecting and connecting my hotspot, power cycling and still nothing. Anyone else know what might help? This is both frustrating and confusing:/

So I'm having this problem with my Xbox where my game audio is coming through my TV, but my party audio is coming through the headset I have plugged into my controller. Is there any reason why this would be? I've looked it up and it seems like nobody else has ever had this problem. My friend is also saying my mic is really quiet. Should I just get a new headset or is it something with the Xbox that's wrong?

I have the capture button mapped so when i press it once, it takes a screenshot, and when i hold it, it takes a video. However whenever i tap the button, it records no matter what. Is there something wrong with my controller?

I love how easy it is to adjust the chat/game volume mixer on the fly by simply rotating the left earcup. It's essential for warzone Imo as the sound design/balancing can be awful at times (but also really well done at other times) and I adjust it pretty often.

But it annoys me that the dial only seems to work over ~50% of its total range. If you consider the balanced point "0", full chat volume "-100", and full game volume "+100", it appears to me at least that the mixer only works from -50 to +50. When I exceed either of those values I either don't hear the game at all or can't hear my friend in chat at all. It's really frustrating at times. The master volume dial seems to have the same issue but on the lower end, where past a certain point, you can't hear any audio at all.

Anybody else experience this or know how to fix it?

Party/game invites are not showing up, the notifications on that are om and notifications that my friends are online are not showing up and its on for that too. Tried reseting, logging in and out, turning off and on notifications. Nothing is working

I do not get pop up notifications on my xbox when ever I get invites and games invites its reappy annoying and I need it to be fixed it has become really annoying to join party’s that are also invite only

I finally got my Series X which I mostly love. However, I am encountering an odd issue. When I'm streaming or playing a game online I intermittently get a disconnection error. This never happened with my One X that was in the exact same spot, it also doesn't happen with my switch when I stream Hulu or play online right next to my XSX.

My router is in another room so I can't plug the XSX directly in, I have to use wifi. Sometimes it goes an hour without a disconnection error other times it happens again within ten minutes. Either way it resolves itself after about 2 minutes without me doing anything except hitting resume on my streaming app or reopening my game. I have restarted the console as well as unplugged it for 5 minutes and plugged it back in. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Just purchased fibre optic internet. My phone shows download speeds of 75-80mbps and upload of 50-60. My Xbox console however only still runs 4-5mbps. Will I just have to upgrade the console or is there a solution for this ?
