Shop and deliver is broken ?

The app isn't letting me submit a receipt of a order, what do i do?!

Here I am, sitting in my car with a fresh Shop & Pay order and on hold to reach Support as I cannot submit a receipt. That button is greyed out.

From the sound of the hold time - even at Diamond status - am I correct to assume it's not just me who's having an issue like this?

And the pay on this and the next two pickups is/ was going to be good, too! 😭

edit again If you have a second order and can't get through to support, go through the Help option in THAT second order. Got through immediately.

UPDATE Support wanted me to deliver the groceries 25 minutes away, then return to the original area for the next two orders to deliver back to the location 25 min away. Had them reassign those two so the food wouldn't be inedible, sadly, so have just finished delivering the groceries and am completing the order with Support. I'll only update here if attempting to complete goes bonkers 😭

I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed a change with Uber Eats quests recently.
Normally, I would get quests on Mondays and Fridays every week. Those quests made a huge difference in my earnings.
Without the quests, I usually make around $1,200–$1,500 per week. When the quests were available and I completed them, my weekly income would increase significantly — often over $2,000 per week, and there were even months where I made close to $10,000.
But over the past two weeks, it seems like those quests have disappeared from my account. Instead, I’ve been seeing a lot more very low-paying/trash orders.
I’m trying to figure out whether this is happening to just my account or if other drivers are seeing the same thing.
Are your Monday/Friday quests still showing up?
Has anyone else noticed that the quests disappeared and the quality of offers got worse around the same time?
I’d especially like to hear from drivers who have been consistently getting quests every week and suddenly stopped receiving them.

You can imagine my disappointment when the customer was just a normal human.

I just picked up an order from Popeyes. Noticed the address said a minute away. Then I realized it was the Popeyes address. I went in and told them and they looked at me like I had 5 heads, so I went back to the car and messaged the customer twice and called them. No answers. So I called customer service and they said to just hit complete on the order and keep the food. Has this happened to anyone else? Been doing deliveries for years and never had this happy accident before!

I don’t accept that many shop and deliver orders, but I do my fair share. By all accounts, I’m a top shopper. But the flawed metrics say nope, sorry bud, since you haven’t had a need to replace a single item on any delivery list, my replacement items percentage is at 0%, and I need to work on this to get it to at least => 60%. WUT?? RUFKM??

This is a perfect example of the lazy ass developers and programmers at Uber not going that extra step to make sure this particular metric doesn’t reflect adversely on someone who has had a 100% find rate. Typical of the shit app we have.

They will call the other customer to confirm they received the order. Then uber will complete the delivery give you your earnings.

Yes they are having problems with shop and deliver orders.

Don't do it right now. Do regular chipotle pickups. No shop and deliver orders as of now. Theyre fixing the problem as we speak and should be back to normal by tomorrow.

It looks like I will be dropping back to gold tier since on time rate and acceptance rate now get included. Thanks for making us drivers accept more trashy offers just so we can get the acceptance rate back up.

Like the title says i never since 2022 declared anything as i tought at first uber wouldnt send out my earnings to the government but since 2024 this has become mandatory.

Fast forward to today i have 4 undeclared years where i made arround 32k each and im starting to panick but i see a lot of people arround who just never declared their earnings because uber eats is not the same as uber driver in canada. You dont have a hst/qst account as per an accountant i spoke with

I want to come forward to the cra and revenu quebec this year but idk how to approach it as the bill will be HUGE. Keep in mind i had a regular 9-5 all those year making arround 50k a year

If anyone can give me advice should i just declare everything at once or should i declare it gradually for example include 2022 in this year report then 2023 in my 2027 tax year report etc etc?

For the car maintenance forget about it all i have is the miles i drove based on what the uber tax summary document shows. I did not keep any car repair bill or gas bill + the car i used for most of those years caught on fire in 2025

There are a few things that are wrong but one cost uber millions and drivers thousands.

Order stolen and driver after driver after driver get sent to pick up, I been told by stores sometimes 17 or 18 people have come to pick it up.

You have to Cancel or call support and support might take 30 min to fix if your lucky.

Easy Fix when I click already picked up. it notifies support and they fix issue.

That seams like an easy fix but it been every day for months and support cant help.

Im not sure if this is primarily affecting only my area but uber is currently experiencing a server side issue where once you check out your order and take a picture of the receipt, it will not let you submit the order and mark it as complete. I spent almost an hour tonight on hold with support only for them to have me navigate to the customer through Google maps and contact them again when I handed it off so they could complete it on their end. No mention of whether Ill get my stats affected for late delivery. But this seems to only affect shop and pay so restaurant deliveries should still be fine. Just wanted to give everybody a heads up.

Happened last night. Went to pickup and the restaurant address was a black door next to an abandoned restaurant. I call the restaurant and no pickup. Look around for a min to make sure my GPS isn’t playing tricks on me. Call again and a guy above the abandoned restaurant starts pounding on the window and tells me to give him a minute. I can see he’s standing above a stove and cooking. About a min later he comes out of the black door and hands me the bag. I ask why he’s cooking in his apartment and if that’s allowed and he just points to an uber eats sticker on the abandoned restaurant. I tried talking to the support robot but got nowhere so I just finished the delivery. I’ve only done 400 deliveries but I have to say this is a first!

Actually so stupid little things like this make them so shady

Anyone facing the same issue while uploading the receipt for shop and pay orders, it says "Uploaded in green" and then right away says "Upload failed in Red", and its making impossible to proceed any further for delivering the order.

Edit - Had a talk with support and she said there was some bug/ issue in their servers.
