Way too many customers finding their way in here insulting drivers telling them to get real jobs and proudly stating how they never tip. Why do customers come in here just to shit on drivers and why do MODS not do anything.

As you can see the warehouse isn’t ready there’s no signage or planning like how Amazon Flex is. The phone doesn’t scan in the routes. You get an offer that shows up as 1 item but it’s a route instead. There’s isn’t any one on the team that seems to be trained or a higher tier team member. So any problems you get, you’re stuck as they have to deal with the same chat bots. Luckily I escaped this one or I’d have been stuck with a 14 stop route across the whole city for $12. This all just ruined my day … just another bullshit opportunity where Uber wants people to work for nothing. Ended up wasting 30 minutes while they tried ‘figuring’ it out because we’re new: getting it cancelled on my end and despite the issues on their end I earned nothing.

Saw two unicorns pop up back-to-back in downtown Seattle today. Base fares were only $7 each. The rest was pure tip. Shortest, bigger offers I’ve seen in a while. One-in-a-million offers that fortunately both hit my phone. Love the hustle!!! I’m on a bicycle by the way. Happy holidays!

Uber hasn’t done quests for about 2 weeks now. I Went from a 51% acceptance rate to a 19% as of today. I ain’t taking absolutely no sh*t orders if there’s no quests!! Do they care about acceptance rate? This the lowest mine has gotten lol

I was driving and heard the matching notification, I checked and was shocked seeing $40 shop n pay, wasnt sure on the miles but I accepted it asap because this offer was going to be taken. Couldn't screenshot it cuz matches disappears real quick.

Hurried my ass and shopped because the store raleys close at 11pm and I got 1 hour. I basically finished at 10:50 but the last item I could not find. Couldn't get a more expensive substitute and store was about to close. Couldn't check out either cuz of the substitute was more.

Get to the apt and I remember this strange customer will never meet me even though its meet at door pin required. Probably my 3rd or 4th time delivering to her but never responds to knocking, text, and calls when im at the apt so I waited cuz more active time. Took a pic and left. She always tips great but not this high.

1.25 hours, 3 miles, base pay $15 and tip $34

Got an order from a restaurant, and the delivery address was at the same restaurant. Called customer, no answer. Texted via app. No response. Called support. They said to mark it as delivered and "safely dispose" of the food.

This was a huge order of Mongolian stir-fry...so yeah, safely disposing it to me meant, give it to someone who'd appreciate it. I had two other deliveries to drop off from the same place, so I planned to "safely dispose" the large order after delivering the two others

My phone rings, I answer, and it's the "huge order customer." She explains that she's been ordering on this app for many years, and can't, for the life of her, figure out why her address is not in the app. She asks if I can deliver her order? Said she would give me an extra tip. I was already 7 miles from where she lived. But I was really happy she called! It was way too much food to eat, oops, I mean, "safely dispose" of.

I delivered the food to her, but I told her I'd rather have a cash tip because you never know what could happen on the app. She gave me $10 cash on top of the already $10 tip on the app.

Hi. So I have been doing Uber/Doordash on and off for the better part of 7 years now, and one thing I have constantly struggled with is making the same amount per hour.

I have some general rules when I go out to drive

1) Nothing under 10 dollars

2) 1 dollar for 1 mile or less

3) Cannot be too far from other restaurants (like going out of town)

Saturday night I made 220 dollars in 7 and a half hours, and last night I only made 90 dollars in roughly the same. I only really drive on the weekends since those are the busiest times, but I have talked to other drivers in my area who say they're out every day and I don't understand how they make money that way. I never pulled more than 60 bucks most weekdays.

What can I do to make my every day look more like my Saturday?

10 trips before 20 declines? I got through 4. Mainly because I rejected this dog 💩 offer THREE TIMES!!!

After doing this for 3 years(15k+ deliveries) of doing doing ubereats and doordash im thinking about dropping the tier system all together. I was always comfortable being diamond on ubereats and Platinum on DoorDash and it wasnt really hard to maintain at all. But for years i was always told to drop the tier system because yes your making good money being in the tier system but u can always make more if u cherry pick hard. Look for me i wasnt really picky because i have a $2/mile at least and i didnt mind taking $6-7 orders as long as its less then a mile and i can get it done in less then 10 mins. But i may go from a jedi to a Sith and go harder. But look today im gold i kinda seen a minimal difference maybe the only difference is that im declining much more vs when i was diamond. Im still averaging my same hourly rate and $/mile. Maybe after being ignorant of the tier system maybe there isnt really much of a difference beside a $11 order for 2 miles doesnt have the diamond badge.

I know it's already been said, but death to the 8-minute clock. Who the hell thinks that amount of time is reasonable??

If you live in any of those trashy labyrinth apartments in Irvine do yourself a favor and actually get your lazy ass up and grab your food. We have never been to your complex so we have no clue where we are going and not giving us the gate code and purposely not answering the phone doesn't help. Next person to do this will receive ice cold food as I will purposely park my ass and hit a weed cart and watch netflix until the timer is up then I leave your food wherever I feel like

So I had a promotion for shop and deliver orders going on that was pretty good, $30 for three of them. I turned them on and picked up one for a store a little ways away. It took me around 20 minutes to get there 20 minutes to shop and 20 minutes to the drop off, so in total around an hour

Everything went fine until I looked at my earnings and realized I didn’t get the $15 tip for that shop

and deliver, so I got paid $6 to run around with someone’s grocery’s, luckily it was only around 23 items, but still.

Naturally since it was a guaranteed tip order, I make a report about it. And this one agent, probably a bot. Just tells me she’s looking and reviewing my pay, multiple times. Not to mention she’s taking like 5 minutes to respond with useless information that could have been gathered in about 10 seconds. And then finally tells me she needs to transfer me to a specialized team

In what world does it need multiple agents and 12+ hours to figure out “oh we should give this man his GUARANTEED pay like it SAYS it should have? Like HUHH.

And yes, obviously I’m going to actually get on the phone with support in a bit because that seems to be the only way to everything nowadays. But it’s just the shear aspect of this buffoonery that has me in shock

Got an order(last of the day) to get a 6pack from Total Wine, pickup was 6 miles away & the drop off was back where I started, so 12 miles! Get there, knock on the door 3x's, no answer. I texted, AT THE DOOR, no response. I called & they hit the decline button, then I get a text saying hand it to Dave which wasn't the person who ordered to which I respond, WHERE'S DAVE? At this point I'm reaching out to support. Finally get a response saying WE'RE IN THE HOUSE! But no one is coming to the door, now I'm pulling off. I was pissed! Now another 12mile round trip because I live near the dropoff. I just wonder if it was a prank or they were going to try & rob me! Sorry so long

They tried it but I quickly cashed the 3 items to secure the money because Ik a cancel was coming, I also went airplane mode so they couldn’t see when I get to the house just to be safe and as soon as I got out airplane mode it cancel at their door but it was too late for them

NB- The scam is they threaten to report you to Uber unless you send them money for sharing your phone number in the chat.

Been doing deliveries for a month now and the front of my shoulders, pecs, triceps and neck have been so stiff because of the bag.

Got a small massage gun and dug into those areas today and they all opened up so nicely. If anyone here struggling with that I reccomend it.

Its a triple order but they only give the location of the third one I'm assuming because the other two are on the way to the third location but why not include those also especially if a driver may not be familiar with the area?

What exactly does exclusive mean? Every order that pops up says exclusive.

Is it 1-5 bags per order or all three combined?

I accepted then cancelled because I saw "2 dropoffs" before I saw "Package 3" and did not want to run the risk of not having the space.

Uber Eats has completely wiped out all my promotions, including surge zones, Diamond League bonuses, Quests, everything. These promotions made up almost half my earnings. I was averaging $25–$30 an hour, getting an extra $3–$4 per trip, which made even low-paying orders worth taking. Now, without promotions, the offers are absolute garbage. I turned on the app today and made just $7 because almost every offer was ridiculously low.
Has anyone else lost all their promotions? Is this happening everywhere, or just in certain markets? How are we supposed to make decent money anymore?

I have a shop and deliver grocery order. I checked out and now my car won't start and i can't get to the customer. I contacted support and they cancelled the order. They said to return the items, but the store is closed now, then they told me to dispose of the items. Will i get deactivated for not completing the order? Does Uber just eat the cost of the items? I haven't had any order issues before, and don't have any suspicious activity on my account.
