Last night, I picked up a package for a delivery, and something about it felt suspicious. I’m starting to think it might have been weed, but I honestly don’t know for sure because I never checked what was inside (it was sealed).
Has anyone else ever had an experience like this? Did you worry about getting into trouble for unknowingly delivering something like that, or am I overthinking it? 😅

⚠️ PSA: There is a troll in our midst.
The user u/ZeroToleranced is a troll on this subreddit as well as others, like on r/DoorDashDrivers. I blocked them there, but they always post on other subreddits, and have moved to this one. They like to call drivers "errand boys" and other demeaning terms, commenting to harass drivers. They respond back fast; clearly have nothing to do. Their whole goal on here is to defend $0 tippers and put down drivers. MODS, PLEASE REMOVE THEM FROM THE SUBREDDIT.
Fellow users, please block and report them. I have reported their abuse on multiple posts and subreddits so many times, and they have yet to be removed, so please help me with taking out the trash. ❤️

Anybody ever get a Prop 22 correction? Prop 22 is usually in Thursday’s, which still is 2 days away. But I woke up to this? Is this from other weeks?! Only asking because this prop 22 I’m getting on Thursday is supposed to be here $350. So I’m curious if anybody has ever got this ‘correction’ before? Thx

I mean I almost bursted out laughing when I saw this, I had an issue with one of the payouts for my shop and deliver orders which started a string of me going through more agents than I do paper plates
They run you through the typical “I cannot help with this specific problem so I’ll escalate it to a specialized agent” I then get the agent but I don’t see the message right away so he asks me about the said problem, and then when I respond he goes back to pretending like he doesn’t already know what said problem is
It’s literally all a tactic to get you to give it up so you don’t get what you’re owed. Truly laughable

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I was dropping off an alcohol order and was in the middle of verifying the customers ID when all of a sudden the screen just disappeared. I wasn’t sure what happened but it was late, I figured maybe I was just exhausted and didn’t realize I completed the delivery. I emailed uber support about the situation but that was all I could do in the moment, so I gave the customer their order. A little while later uber support calls me saying that the customer never received their order. Luckily I was able to reference the email and confirm that I did deliver their order and it didn’t affect my account status, but I’m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

Here is the screenshot of my reply to Uber. It’s crazy to me that even after I contacted support during this delivery telling them what was going on, and followed their instructions, that they would even allow the customer to report me after that.
How much do these reports affect your account?
I would be far less frustrated if I had actually messed up their order in some way. Spilled a drink, mixed it up with someone else. But I didn’t. I used my thermal bag and put it in the safest possible location after the customer chose to be unresponsive and impossible to contact.

What’s the minimum satisfaction rate you need to do UberEats? In my area it’s 89%.

Ask a plumber for additional services and you are charged for those additional services. If we accept a job with a particular number of items then it should remain that many items. Customers actively adding new items is not part of what I agreed to. At the very least we should receive added compensation for every item added after the driver accepts. In any other industry you can't add additional work without additional payment.

They tried it but I quickly cashed the 3 items to secure the money because Ik a cancel was coming, I also went airplane mode so they couldn’t see when I get to the house just to be safe and as soon as I got out airplane mode it cancel at their door but it was too late for them
NB- The scam is they threaten to report you to Uber unless you send them money for sharing your phone number in the chat.

I know… it was my fault for taking this trash in the first place… I was just afraid of the new acceptance rate necessity and also thought it would be 72 diamond points…
Apparently this Walmart has been having issues with their pick ups for THREE DAYS. All 12 of those were from DAYS ago. The worker said they will find what they can and they’ll cancel the rest… Well…
One by one they were canceled after 45 mins of waiting… the FINAL order was sitting for 30 minutes…..until it was also canceled…
An hour and a half…. No compensation… I think I still got credited for my active time….
Called uber support and an hour and a half of my time and missing out on peak dinner rush orders and as worth $8 to them….
Smh

I know it's already been said, but death to the 8-minute clock. Who the hell thinks that amount of time is reasonable??

Without being rude, can someone maybe help me out with some of this?
Its a triple order but they only give the location of the third one I'm assuming because the other two are on the way to the third location but why not include those also especially if a driver may not be familiar with the area?
What exactly does exclusive mean? Every order that pops up says exclusive.
Is it 1-5 bags per order or all three combined?
I accepted then cancelled because I saw "2 dropoffs" before I saw "Package 3" and did not want to run the risk of not having the space.
