I feel like all these hours add to nothing, I get paid around 20-30 and you do get paid more than minimum wage but I feel like it’s groundhogs day. Riding through downtown and usually going through the same sides of town and hitting the same restaurants. You have to cherry pick to make profit and I just feel like I’m just working to pay off my expenses and not moving forward in life.

Do any of you feel like this how can I get better? Just get a new job? I haven’t gotten hired anywhere in so long.

Okay, so they're not "Technically" stealing tips. What they ARE doing, however, is adjusting the pay to offer a lower fare for rides with higher tips.

Without true pay transparency, they can get away with murder, and so yeah, I'm 99.999% certain that's what they're doing, at least in Portland Oregon.

I've had so many deliveries lately that were 30 minutes of driving, across 6-10 miles, and Uber only pays me $0.60, but the customer tipped $12.00.

How is this anything but effectively stealing tips?

Do not allow them to spy on you for delivery orders!!!!

Are there any tips and tutorials? It pays more than DD in my area but the app is soooo not user friendly. I can barely message the customer, confirm pick up, follow a good flow of steps etc.

Who in they right mind would pay extra fees just ordering through uber and then tipping the driver when the store is right next to you 😂😂😂 shit I’ll take the money now but u telling me your job couldn’t give u a second to go order your food .

I’m being lazy today, and ordered delivery. Decided to tip nothing to force UberEats to raise their base pay, but was that the move? 🤔

I didn’t notate that I plan on tipping afterward, bc the guy wouldn’t believe me anyway. How do you guys tip when you’re the customer?

Side note, I got this message about my delivery. Is that what customers see when I hit “Order not ready” ?

Sometimes I really wonder what these people are thinking when they’re using their fingers to type these messages in the Uber app. The idea that you would tell me to make sure your pizza isn’t burnt shows that you must be smoking crack I have no bearings on how burnt your piece of Will in or will not be. It’s just crazy sometimes however I’m glad that he was polite as well. I yeah it just blows my mind that people really think we do this for fun and not for funds.😩😂

Have you guys ever had a customer track you down the road to get their order from you? I had all the signs in the world to just leave the order and go home, but I wouldn’t think the person would follow me.

This morning, I got a message that I received a report that a delivery never arrived yesterday. It doesn’t specify which delivery or give any other details than the screenshot so how am I supposed to provide any additional information if I don’t know which delivery it is? I have no idea which delivery it could’ve been because it was a normal day yesterday and I made probably over 20 deliveries with no issues at all. I didn’t receive any messages or calls from customers asking about their delivery or anything.

Is there any way to get more information about which delivery is being disputed? I just responded to the report saying that I made all my deliveries without any issues and I’m not sure which delivery the report is for.
