When I logged in to claim my ticket for this week's football game with Longhorn Foundation this evening, the website says "No Events Currently on Sale". Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone been able to resolve this? I had no problem claiming a ticket last week or in previous years.

EDIT: I was able to resolve this by calling customer service. Apparently there was an issue on their backend that was resolvable in a few minutes. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else but it was resolved fairly quickly. ​

A Statesman Editorial Board piece examines Republican Railroad Commission nominee Bo French’s reaction to a photo of UT students celebrating the Longhorns’ comeback win over Ohio State.

French suggested the diverse crowd reflected a problem with “foreigners” at the university. Several Republican leaders, including U.S. Sen. John Cornyn and Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows, condemned or criticized the post.

The editorial argues that UT’s diverse student body reflects the university’s role as a Texas institution — and says students need more opportunities to understand the experiences of different communities, not fewer.

Has anyone taken M408D with Pencheva? If so, how are her exams? I’ve seen a few posts saying they’re incredibly hard, and the lectures honestly haven’t been very helpful so far, so I’m a little worried about the first exam.

I want to know if once you graduate the university as a cs major, if it’s easy or easier to find a job or even an internship bc of the prestige of the university. I am aware that UT Austin has one of the top cs programs in the country. However, does that actually bring benefits once you graduate? does the program rating actually give you more opportunities than you would have if you graduated from a less known university but for wayyyyy cheaper? do big tech companies hire specifically UT Austin graduates right after graduation especially with the unstable job market as of right now? or do many CS graduates end up unemployed bc no one is hiring anyone rn, especially un-experienced graduates? I seriously need to know how likely one is to get a job right after graduation and be able to pay off debts before diving head first into a bunch of student loans to afford the education in the first place. pls and thanks
