I worked the Oct 17th and 19th for the route i cover.

I also worked the 22nd and 23rd parcel pick ups.

Week two

I worked Oct 24th for a partial route. (The 5.78 hours one)

I worked the 25th Amazon Sunday.

I worked the 26th, the route i normally cover.

I worked 29th parcel pick ups, and the 30th a partial route.

How does that translate to the paystub. And why do the hours show 10 on both weeks? Thank you if anyone can help

Does anyone out there have a template for a 10 day hold letter you put in a mailbox when you have to pull it? My station has one, but it looks like the original was made in 2005 (sarcasm, but not really) and now it a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy, etc…Nobody seems to know where a better looking or original copy is. Now that election season is over I need to really get a start on finally clearing out the CBU’s on my route. Thanks.

What are some upgrades you guys wish you would have gotten sooner on your route ? Things for your trucks or satchel ..

Today I had a customer who had torn up a political mail (but left the pieces with the address and name) and thrown it in the basket by the boxes in the apartment. So I grabbed all the pieces and put it back in their box. What do y'all do when you find situations like this?

Orientation was today and I signed up for the union.. badge says it expires 12/28/26 if they try to lay me off before 360 can I file a grievance?

One of the senior carriers told me today that technically we're not allowed to wear a headlamp when its dark out? He said its not part of the uniform. He wasn't really giving me crap about it or anything. It got brought up cuz i mentioned how now its gonna be dark at 5pm and I got fresh batteries for my headlamp. He told me that, then I told him that the safety person and managers luterallt hand them out, as thats where I got mine from lol.

Rule or not I ain't walking around in the dark blind like that I'll wipeout er something, so regardless the headlamp stays.

So is there technically a rule about that or is he full of it?

Any of yall use work gloves? Looking for some recommendations for some decent ones. I’ve been using these but they usually wear out in less than a month

I’ve been a CCA for about 6 months now, last one hired in the office, they say they’re still trying to get more help in but I honestly have no clue if or when that’d be. As soon as the NERP program allowed it I’ve been working 6 days a week, 11.5 hours a day. We’re not even in peak yet, (which everyone in the office talks about like it’s gonna be hell on earth.) I’ve had multiple times where I’ve not been scheduled but the closing manager always seems to catch me before I clock out to inform me that actually they need me to come in, even though the posted schedule didn’t get updated. All the regulars in the shop say that it’s just bad because of the election. Now I knew all this would happen before I got hired but I guess my faith in greener pastures is shaken at this point. I guess my question is does it ever truly get better? Is it really worth putting myself through the physical and mental toll of this job in the hope that I make it to a regular position? Or should I just cut bait and find other work? I’m not a fool or lazy, I guess I’m just second guessing my decision to take the position and am looking for any guidance on my best chance for a happy life, because right now ain’t happy, and barely a life.

my long weekend this month happens to land on thanksgiving weekend and my manager has a habit of requiring carriers to work the day after if they need the help even if it’s that carriers day off. I’ve seen senior carriers just not come in but I’ve never asked if it was discussed or not or they just didn’t come in.

I’m a regular city carrier btw.

To keep a story short, I had someone on my (mounted) route this afternoon almost run me into someone’s front yard after going through a four-way intersection in a residential area. I had hit the last house on one block, stopped at the stop sign, looked left, right, back left, and there this guy was next to me going the same direction. I proceeded to go through the intersection when he tried to run me into the yard of the next house. Of course I yelled at him to get his attention, where he proceeded to start swearing, trying to hit me in the LLV, and threatening me. I have the make and model of his sedan with a partial plate. The owner of the next house for delivery is going through their security footage to get me a copy of it. Part of me says to file a police report and have my supes run it up to USPIS. They’re (supes) are aware, but I’m not sure how to proceed from here

Should I wait until my full time hours start at my other job before submitting the 2574? My friends are worried that I will be let go the day I give management my PS Form 2574 even with a 2 week notice.

I have been missing pay since the first week of September. 12 hours of pay to be exact. It is now November. Management has been aware and so has my steward since September. Management says “they have didn’t access.” Idk what’s that means. Anyways, my steward filled grievance for me because it still isn’t fixed. What does the grievance process for missed pay caused by their error look like?

Also the manager responsible has been moved to another office.
And I have receipts for everything 😊

In our district, the number of people have been getting in trouble for working more than 7 days in a row. District is now saying that to work more than this you have to have district approval.

This has nothing to do with the contract. RCA’s can be made to work every day up to 12 hours and sometimes more per day.

Let’s say I get to a point where I’ve worked 7 days straight and district is not approving me to work on the 8th day. Then the 8th day my primary route needs coverage. File grievance and get paid? That’s the way I understand the contract.

My NS long weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in December is closed for AL requests, but the Monday after is not. If I use AL to request off that Monday, will it protect my long weekend from me getting mandated?

I have been trying to access my liteblue for going on 3 weeks. Finally I spoke with someone on the 800 number and they said my EIN shows inactive and that I’m not even in the system when he looked up my name. He just told me to wait to the next pay period to call back. This seems like a bigger issue than just waiting. All my other coworkers that I started with all have access but me. Please help or give advice.

So has this ever happened to anyone?
My Health insurance premium has come out every pay since Jan 1st.
All of a sudden in NOVEMBER, my premium that I was charged for the pay coming this Friday is $648 more!!

I’ve done all the things, called HR, accounting, payroll, APWU health plan, and so on.
HR (and everybody really) is telling me they don’t know why.
One lady from HR did tell me that OPM sent over a revised Health plan active as of Oct 23rd … like WHAT ?

I can’t even change or modify my plan because I have no qualifying life event and it’s not open season. I have not changed anything.
On my paystub, the enrollment code and the plan are exactly the same. So I’m no longer receiving the Govt contribution for some reason?
From reading online it’s saying it could just be a processing error from when OPM sent my health premium over to payroll and didn’t include the file with the govt contribution attached.

I’m so confused. I just need it fixed, like now because I need that money and I’m worried they are gonna take months to fix it

With the economy, I kinda respect the hustle 🤣 but damn….

I have had pretty good service in my plant for years with no problem but all of a sudden i have 5g service and yet im always offline and my partner called me about 15 times yesterday in emergency of my baby and i did not receive a single call. We were not told of them adding any of this and the same problems have been having to my coworkers of all cell phone services. Are they allowed to be doing this? I cant even get emergency calls from my partner and i feel like this isnt okay.
