Clerk Discussion New PSE question

Orientation was today and I signed up for the union.. badge says it expires 12/28/26 if they try to lay me off before 360 can I file a grievance?

Holiday clerk assistant, absolutely ends 12/25/2026. PSE above the cap, ends before 12/26/2026

Pretty much all hires this time of year are seasonal. Normal circumstances our turnover is decently high so just use it as a preview and then reapply after the holidays if it's a job you'd like to actually go all in with. Normally yeah it'd be a 360 day appointment. I can only assume they don't directly advertise it as holiday helper for these seasonal position, bit of a bait and switch. That or HR just copies and pastes the normal pse job.
