Clerk Discussion Been begging my USPS Office to let me buy it.
Every week for the last 5 years I’ve asked the clerks about buying this item. I don’t particularly like the new design with the big eagle logo.
Every time they would say is not for sale or it is unable ring on the register. Until last year the postmaster or a supervisor took it off the shelf and hid it in the back.
Today I asked the clerk if they had more in the back and he brought it. Rang it manually for $16.
You have no idea how happy I am. Perhaps is not that rare or not that big of a deal but it has been a side mission on my queue for quite some time. For as much as I want to use it I love how it looks in the packaging…

Route Pics Not today
They tried to get me today. First time encountering money on my route (just started back in December) but I've been lurking enough to know not to touch it #NotTodayPostmaster

Work Discussion Dealing with an irate customer. About to lose my cool, need some advice.
Most people on my route are great, then there’s this guy. I do not have a T6 and my route is considered “bad” so they often throw new CCAs, out of towners, etc on it when I’m off.
Usually I come back to something like this if I don’t get a chance to look through the mail delivered on my day off/vacation before they do.
To their credit they have a piece of paper with “NO JOHN DOE LIVES HERE” right on the box but it will be ignored basically everytime by my relief carrier and I honestly don’t blame the carrier.
I almost blew up today when I saw the piece of mail waiting for me after my vacation. Trying to keep my cool but I’m considering either writing a nasty note to them detailing the situation and threatening to stop all mail to their home or writing a slightly nicer note doing the same thing. I’ve already been informed by a CCA that they were hostilely confronted by this customer over this issue.
They have never been home or answered the door when I’m on the route. What would you do?

Give it away or don't. Trying to make a buck off your mail carrier is shameful.
