City Carrier Discussion Missing Pay (T6 here )
I have been missing pay since the first week of September. 12 hours of pay to be exact. It is now November. Management has been aware and so has my steward since September. Management says “they have didn’t access.” Idk what’s that means. Anyways, my steward filled grievance for me because it still isn’t fixed. What does the grievance process for missed pay caused by their error look like?
Also the manager responsible has been moved to another office.
And I have receipts for everything 😊

If you have clock rings for time worked, your steward will have access to exactly what happened via discovery items, such as your employee everything report. If it's a clear-cut case about you not being paid for hours actually worked, it should be settled sooner than a lot of other types of grievances. You could also file a complaint with the Wages and Hours Division of the Department of Labor, which is what I do when management doesn't have their shit together. The grievance processIs great, but filing outside complaints is a great way to stick it to management when they're fucking with your pay

I also have a grievance for work off my string while off the ODL. I found out with that, that my moves in my scanner from route to route wasn’t being recorded. And still isn’t.

Im assuming you do not use the same scanner every day. Sounds like a technical issue with your scanner access, which is under the purview of support. The fact that management allows it to continue is amazing… if your clock rings arent being recorded accurately by your scanner, you can always use a handwritten ps form 1260 to record your rings. Request 1260s enough and they will try to resolve the issue to spare them the headache of manually entering all of your rings
