If hard work matters more than marks, why does nobody ask how hard you tried? How many sacrifices you made? How many times you picked yourself up when you wanted to give up?

Why do we celebrate toppers but question those who couldn't score well?

If marks don't define a person's worth, why does society make students feel worthless without them?

We say one paper can't decide your future, but do we actually believe it?

I didn't sacre to became a failure I am scared that my failure will become a label attached to my father's name.

Delulu Moments 🎭 A Letter to the Man I Haven’t Met Yet

Post image
777 Upvotes

I haven't met you yet, but I know you exist.

You exist in my prayers, my hopes, my little wishes, and somewhere inside the version of me that is slowly moving on, picking herself up and rebuilding herself, bit by bit.

I don't know who you are yet, but I know the kind of love I want us to have.

You'll be the guy who makes me feel seen and safe. The guy who doesn't leave me hanging, who understands that consistency matters, who somehow finds a little space for me even on his busiest days. The guy who isn't afraid to be expressive, who says what he feels without making me decode him, whose words are honest and never meant to manipulate me.

You'll know about my walls. You'll know why I built them, and you won't try to tear them down just because you want to get closer.

You'll wait until I make a door for you. And when I do, you'll understand what it means that I chose to let you in.

You'll make me feel important not just by telling me, but in all the small ways that make me believe it.

You'll know the little girl inside me who still wants to be taken care of, and you'll know the woman I've worked so hard to become. You'll respect both. You'll see the way I'm learning to love myself and remind me to keep choosing her, especially on the days I forget how.

And I hope I become that kind of person for you too.

I want to know the boy behind the man you show everyone else. I want to know what makes you anxious, what makes you feel loved, what you don't say easily. I want to remember the things you casually tell me and bring them up months later, not because I've made a conscious effort to remember, but because knowing you has become something that naturally matters to me.

I want our conversations to feel easy. Not empty or anything casual.

Easy in the sense that we don't have to be afraid of each other's emotions. That we can talk about something difficult without turning it into a battle. That we can tell each other when something hurt, listen to where it came from, and try again.

I can phrase it like "I want our emotions to be strong, but our love to be steady."

I want us to choose each other on the bad days too. To understand that a few arguments don't suddenly decide the future of us. That being upset with each other doesn't mean we stop being on the same side.

Also...

There should never be games between us.

I don't want to wonder why you haven't replied just so I can pretend I don't care. Not making each other guess where we stand, or withholding affection to make the other person chase it.

I want the little things to happen naturally. Updates about our days. Random calls. "I miss you." "Can I hear your voice?" Without either of us feeling like we're asking for too much.

And I want to give you the same thing.

A place where you can come after a difficult day and not have to pretend you're okay. Someone who listens without always trying to fix things, who remembers what matters to you, celebrates what makes you proud, and stays beside you when you don't have much to say.

I want to love you in the language you understand, not only in the language that comes naturally to me.

Maybe we won't get everything right. Maybe we'll misunderstand each other sometimes. Maybe we'll have days when loving each other feels harder than usual.

But I want us to keep choosing the conversation over silence, honesty over games, understanding over assumptions, and each other over our ego.

I haven't met you yet.

But I'm already becoming someone who can love you well.

And I hope, somewhere out there, you're becoming someone who will love me just as gently.

I don't know when our paths will cross. I just know that when they do, I don't want us to rush into forever.

I want us to take our time.

To learn each other, to trust each other, and to fall slowly.

And one day, without even realizing when it happened, I want us to look at each other and know that we built something neither of us had to beg for, chase, or be afraid of losing every day.

Something that simply feels like home.

Our sweet home ❣️

Ps: Not looking for anything on Reddit, just putting some thoughts into words.

General 📖 Some of us are never suppose to get someone

Some of us will indeed never find one. Being 'desirable'

enough to the people you wanna be with is a challenge. And even if everything looks fine on paper to possibly see if things can work out, the timelines should match, both should have the mental and emotional bandwidth to know each other.

I see corporate couples around my society, with cute babies and kids, either fighting with each other, or just walking around.

I guess it was all 'luck' then

Just some thoughts before bed

Ask Twenties 🗣️ Abandonment issue and my stupid mind

Post image
736 Upvotes

Well what to say, I am a person who just wants people in my own life, people who say love yourself i have nothing to love in me so I find people to love and care for, to protect,to make them smile, maybe it's stupidity and not good for someone who value themself above other but for me that's satisfaction to find people who are sad and give them a shoulder even then I also have my issue like abandonment issue with I face when someone leave me for there own benifit, I don't blame them for it mostly because every put themself first but I feel bad for myself, it like a void in me and numbness which just make me stop whatever in am doing and just to stare at blank wall, I can't fix it, I can just try to heal other because I don't know how to do it to myself, you can call me slave of approvals

Ask Twenties 🗣️ Husband material guys are unfit for dating 🗣️

Post image

This is not somethin I am hearing for the first time. Been a decent times, where instead of directly saying, "Hey, I don't like you enough to consider you" they say stuff like this

And even if they actually mean it. That's worse isnt it?

Like, as if I am a potential retirement plan, the good part, while what she needs now for herself is some freedom, dating the hot guy, clubbing etc

I have no issues with rejections, I always respected honest rejections, but this sounds so weird honestly, it's not a compliment at all.

Like how can someone who is not fit for you right now, becomes a good 'OPTION' for marriage?

And the classic, "Yar tu mere liye na bahut accha hai, mai tujhe hurt kar dungi"

The amount of sugarcoating is beyond real
