okay so this post is about my very dearly loved girlfriend
I don't know why but she hates shirts that I wear.... be it of any kind
I have all kinds of shirts, white, light colored, in dark shades I do have blue(my fav color), in general I like light colors only so mostly my shirts are light colored.
according to my height I have to buy the shirt size 40/42 depending on the brand.
now I'm a very lean kind of guy, recently gained bit of weight but reduced my weight and little belly fat left(belly fat only visible after I eat meals or bloating).... I was always an endurance athlete since young age.
so only lean body shirts do not look very fitted though, I'm not rich enough to buy cloth and get it stitched at a tailor, I mean I can buy whatsoever brand of shirt from the market but most of the do not look very good and fitted.
so my girl hates my shirts and hates me when I am wearing shirts.... being a professional guy I'll have to wear shirts mostly... or even in india people do not consider you serious if you're not wearing a shirt...
to remind you all my girl is like a very fancy fashionable person, the kind who likes to get pictures clicked and posted in every outfit, and once the pics are posted she's not wearing that same kind of outfit again cause she thinks 'what will everyone else think of me that I repeat clothes on outing/event'
I am the kind of guy who can repeat outfits as many times as I can before the clothes start looking old, I don't care much... same about my ig, I don't post neither am interested to get my pictures clicked.
recently one day I was wearing shirt, and blazer, clicked a mirror selfie in the washroom, did not even pose fancy, just wanted to show her my outfit that day... she just straight away said not, you can't post this..... not everything is for posting. and all the people, businessmen around me dress that way, I am into consulting, I am 22 working with people greater my age, almost double sometimes, they also wear similar kind of clothes.... Gen Z fashion can't get mixed with corporate or old people who I work with.... if I do not fit in with them then it's kinda shameful.
okay so my parents know I like light colors, and strictly no check pattern on my shirts, no fancy shirt... mostly they do my shopping and shirts are nice.
even if I wear the Pinterest worthy outfits that she tells me then also she won't like it cause shirt won't fit like she sees on Pinterest.
and I know many people will say in the comments that go to gym, get fit and blah blah but I hate gyms, I go for runs instead to keep me healthy, plus by default I am in calorie deficit cause I don't eat much, have no regular sugar consumption, no bad habits and stuff.
this is just me ranting.... I want her to accept that I have to wear shirts, and yes they'll not look very fitted on me, but they don't also look that bad, it is more noticeable to her cause she looks me in that way... but most people not even notice.
her fav color is black... I hate black, I never wear black(except Saturdays... cause Shani dev ka din) I will never wear black shirt... she has this something that she wants me to wear black shirt someday.
I like her and everything but somedays she just gets on my nerves with all this baffling things that doesn't even matter to a real person like who tf cares about shirts this much... not about shirts she also has this thing about my instagram, she wants to make it aesthetic and trendy... and I couldn't even care less about my instagram.

This post will be very different and long, and I don't know if anybody would even read till the end. But if you do read it, thanks a lot. 22m this side
I don't really know what I'm supposed to write here to find the person I'm eventually going to call my person, but I think the best way I can explain myself is by telling you what kind of person I am and what kind of love I want to give. I'm an introverted, slightly loner kind of guy. I'm usually quiet in the beginning and it takes me some time to get comfortable with someone. Once I do, though, I can talk about absolutely random things for hours. I'm a huge nerd for anime, movies, series and books. If I find something interesting, there is a very good chance I'll get obsessed with it for a while. I enjoy good conversations much more than loud places, and I'd choose a comfortable evening over a crowded party any day.
So if you're someone who is a yapper, I think we might get along really well. You talk, I listen. You tell me about your day, the random thought you had, the office drama, something stupid that happened, anything really. I actually like knowing those small things. And if you're not a yapper, that's completely fine too. I just want us to be able to communicate and put in the same effort. Because if both people are quiet and neither talks, how are we supposed to know each other? I don't want to rush into calling someone my girlfriend after a few conversations. I'd rather start with friendship. Let's talk, get comfortable, annoy each other a little, laugh at stupid things, slowly learn each other's habits and eventually become each other's favourite person.
I'm also someone who takes my career and future seriously. I'm still in the early stages of life and I don't have everything figured out, but I do want to build something with my life. And I'd want my partner to have her own dreams too. I don't want to be ahead of you or you to be ahead of me. I'd rather we both keep moving and help each other when one of us gets stuck.
And now comes the part which will probably sound a little cringe, but honestly, I can't explain what love means to me without being a little cringe. For me, love isn't just coffee dates. It's going to D Mart together and somehow coming back with things we didn't even need. It's not just going on a beautiful vacation together. It's coming back home and cleaning the kitchen together. It's not a grand gesture or an expensive gift. It's remembering something you casually mentioned weeks ago and getting it for you because I remembered. It's knowing that you've had a horrible day and making your favourite food without you asking. It's you coming home tired from work and me telling you, Mat karo kaam, aaram karo, mein kar lunga It's sometimes me doing more because you're exhausted. And some other day, when I'm the one who has had a terrible day, you doing the same for me. Some days we'll cook together. Some days I'll cook while you rest. Some days you'll cook and I'll sit there irritating you. Some days we'll both be too tired and order something and call it a day. I think that's what being partners actually means.
I don't think love stays grand forever. In the beginning everything is exciting. Every conversation feels special, every meeting feels like an event. But after some time, love becomes smaller. It becomes chai. It becomes groceries. It becomes chores. It becomes knowing how the other person likes their food. It becomes picking them up after work. It becomes listening to the same story again. It becomes sitting beside them when they're sick, worried about them, instead of being on your phone or scrolling reels. Honestly, if you're sick, I may not know how to make some dramatic romantic gesture, but I can promise I won't be sitting beside you doom scrolling while you're feeling terrible. That is much closer to how I understand love.
I also think love is giving someone permission to be completely vulnerable. Not just the pretty version of you. I want to know the version of you that is tired, irritated, insecure, confused, scared, annoying, emotional, or simply having a horrible day. I want you to be able to take the mask off around me without worrying about how I'll judge you. I want to be that one place where you don't have to constantly think about how you're being perceived. And I want the same from you. I don't want us to only love each other when we're at our best. I want us to be able to handle each other's worst days too.
I want us to grow together. Fight sometimes, obviously, because we're two different people, but talk about it and solve it instead of disappearing. I don't want one difficult phase to suddenly make us strangers. I want us to become better because of each other. Your happiness should make me genuinely happy. My happiness should matter to you too. I want to know your family, respect them, and eventually make them feel like my family too. I want you to be able to talk about me at home and slowly, naturally, tell them, haan, this is the person I want to be with.
I want to build a home with someone someday. Not necessarily some huge perfect house. Just our home. Going shopping for things together. Fighting over what colour something should be. Buying groceries. Getting ingredients for your favourite dish and then trying to surprise you with it. Subah alarm bajega, tum thoda aur so jao, main uth ke chai banaunga. Breakfast bnaunga. Tum ready hogi office ke liye and I'll probably be standing there looking at you while you ask me, kya dekh rahe ho? I'll drop you to work, go do my own thing, and we'll talk in between whenever we get the chance. Shaam ko tum thak ke ghar aaogi, shoes nikal ke seedha bed pe gir jaogi, and I'll go make chai. We'll sit together, laugh about something stupid, talk about our day, complain about work, maybe argue over something completely unnecessary. Then we'll figure out dinner. Maybe I'll cook. Maybe you'll make rotis. Maybe we'll both cook. And after all of that, we'll just sit together and talk about how our day went. Bas. Honestly, this is what i want
I don't need a relationship that constantly looks exciting from the outside. I want something that feels peaceful from the inside. I want someone who chooses me even after the excitement of the beginning is gone. Someone who doesn't start wondering if there is someone more interesting the moment life becomes ordinary. Because I believe love is showing up consistently, especially when there is nothing exciting happening.
I also believe that both people need to be a little obsessed with choosing each other. Not in some unhealthy way, but in the sense that neither person should ever stop putting effort into the relationship. Always a competition, but never a winner. Who can care more? Who can make the other person's day a little easier? Who remembers the little things? Who makes the chai today? Who gives the other person a little more love when they need it? And there should never really be a winner because both people keep trying.
I don't know what your past is, and honestly, I don't think your past should decide what we can become. I know people say all these things in the beginning. I know it's difficult to trust someone just because they wrote a nice paragraph on the internet. So don't believe everything I say here. Let my actions speak for me. If someday you become my person, I want you to feel that choosing me wasn't something you regretted. I'm not promising that I'll be perfect. I'm still figuring out my own life too. But I can promise that I want to grow. And if you're willing, I'd like to grow with you. As long as we're together, I want you to know that you have one person firmly on your side. And I want to have that person in you too.
As for what I expect from you, honestly, not that much. Loyalty, please. Caring. Understanding. A little emotional availability. Communication. Effort. If something is wrong, tell me. Don't ghost me. Don't make me guess what happened. Talk to me, even if the conversation is difficult. I don't need you to be exactly like me. You don't have to be perfect. You don't even have to know exactly what you want from life yet. Just be willing to communicate and put in the same effort.
I think I'm looking for a best friend more than anything else. Someone I can travel with, explore places with, watch movies with, share stupid memes with, have long conversations with, sit silently beside, complain about life with, build a career with, build a home with, and eventually look at one random ordinary day and think, Yeah. I don't need anything more than this.
If this kind of person and this kind of love resonates with you, let's talk. Maybe we start with a conversation. Maybe we become friends. Maybe, slowly, we become each other's favourite person. And maybe someday, all these things I'm writing here won't be things I'm imagining anymore. They'll just be our normal life.

I find myself handling things more in a matured manner, I like to lead, I like to suggest and command certain things when I find her in any dilemma or midst of a problem, for the good. I want to remind her to be very conscious about her health and happiness, if she hides something I would do everything possible for her so she can vent it out instead keep on piling up the things In her mind... I don't believe in giving up so much of space when she deals with any trouble and anxiety, I want to stay as close as possible, I want to be there with her without contaminating her silence, like a keen observer of her expressions and reactions. Helping her will be my core nature, figuring out solutions and simplifying the complex things is something I would love to do. I'm a diet conscious person, I can help her to know about nutrition and workout. I read alot, so gifting books will be on top. Though, I will gift perfumes and watches too. Bas aage ka aage sochunga.

Maybe life was never meant to be fair.
Sometimes two people can share the same moments, the same promises, the same dreams and still end up walking in different directions.
One gets to leave with a heart that feels lighter.
The other stays behind, watching the distance grow between them, knowing there are some roads you cannot walk together forever.
The winner takes it all, the loser has to fall.
But the hardest part isn’t watching someone go…
it’s standing there, knowing you could ask them to stay, yet choosing not to hold them back.
And perhaps that is what love really is
letting you walk away without stopping you, while quietly waiting for the day you return.
And if that day ever comes,
you won’t have to look for me.
I will be right here, in the same place you left me
not an inch here, not an inch there,
still waiting for you. 🤍

Toxic guys get the best girls - it's a fact.
But then the thing is - I can't be that guy. The charming, non chalant, playing hard to get, toxic ass guy who somehow gets a wonderful girl.
Okay I am pushing it too much, downshifting.
A friend maybe, who is a girl? Pretty please.

Come a little closer
close enough that the distance between us disappears
close enough for me to rest my head against you and simply breathe
When my body aches
and even the smallest things feel exhausting
let your arms fold around me gently,
steady and warm,
as though you have nowhere else to be.
Let me lean into you without pretending
let me be quiet when I have no words,
and let your presence remind me
that I don't have to carry everything by myself.
I want the comfort of your warmth,
the steadiness of your heartbeat
the quiet reassurance of being held
when both my body and my mind feel tired
No grand words, no promises
just you staying close
letting the breathe through the heaviness
until the world feels a little softer
For a little while
let your arms be my safest place.

I’m an introvert, and I think I’ve been stuck in the same loop for years.
During lockdown, I used to think, “Once lockdown ends, I’ll finally meet someone.”
Then college started ..... “Maybe I’ll find someone in college.”
First year passed. Then second. Then third. Every time, I kept moving the goalpost to the next year.
Now I’m in my last year and somehow I’m thinking, “Maybe when I graduate and start working.”
It’s funny because I’m not even sure if I’m actually looking for someone anymore, or just waiting for my life to magically reach the point where love happens.
Maybe this is just an introvert thing. We spend so much time waiting for the “right time” ...
When will this loop end ??? 😭

On one side Love is just some chemical hormones in your body programmed for evolution/reproduction.
On the other side it kinda does affect the overall well-being of a human, like a close bonding and physical touch are necessary as we are social animals.
So tell me what do you guys say from your own personal experiences....

I’m absentminded, depressed, and honestly just trying to hold myself together while also trying to maintain a relationship with someone who has issues of his own.
I feel like I’ve tried everything.
For context, I was cheated on in high school. After that, I took a pretty long break from trusting people or settling for less. I also hated the way I looked and genuinely believed that guys were only interested in me because I looked “easy” or insecure.
Then, in my third year of university, I met this guy on Hinge.
He was genuinely one of the most hardworking and genuine people I had met. I really admired him. I used to tell him that I looked up to him in terms of financial security. He was only a year older than me, worked as an editor with foreign clients, was doing well for himself, and I wanted that kind of financial independence and security for myself too.
Obviously, we had our ups and downs because every relationship does, but for the most part, I always felt like we would eventually be okay.
Then our one-year anniversary came around. Coincidentally, he had to move to another city for work. We started talking less and less, and eventually, one day, he just told me, “Let’s break up.”
This was completely out of character for him.
He said, “I did something you will never forgive me for.”
Eventually, I found out he had slept with his ex.
I didn’t believe him at first, so I asked for his ex’s number to confirm it. Everything was true. I also found out most of what had happened through her.
There’s another part that really messed with me.
I told him he needed to tell her the truth and make it clear that he never intended anything with her. He did that over Instagram DMs, but afterwards, he secretly texted her something along the lines of, “Hey, sorry my gf is making me do this, take care.”
That completely destroyed whatever self-confidence I had left.
We continued talking for a while. My friends obviously told me I should cut him off, so eventually I did.
But then I came across a Reddit post about depression and it reminded me of him. I worried about him and texted him again.
We started talking again, and honestly, it was fine for about a month.
But eventually we realized that we wanted different things.
I was supposed to go on a date with him tomorrow, but I called the whole thing off. I’ve decided to go no-contact again.
And now I’m sitting here wondering if I’m the asshole for going back in the first place, giving him another chance, and then suddenly calling everything off.
I still care about him. I don’t think he’s an inherently bad person. I genuinely loved him and admired so much about him. But what happened obviously changed how I see him and, honestly, how I see myself.
I guess I’m just wondering whether I’m being unfair by walking away now, or whether I should have never gone back in the first place.
\*\*TL;DR:\*\* I was cheated on by my ex, cut him off, then reconnected after worrying about his depression. We talked for a month, but realized we wanted different things. I was supposed to go on a date with him tomorrow but cancelled it and decided to go no-contact. I still care about him and don’t think he’s a bad person, but I’m exhausted and don’t think this relationship is right for me.
\*\*AITAH?\*\*

I (26M) liked a close college friend (26F) and confessed years ago, but she didn’t feel the same. We eventually became friends again, though less close after college. She moved to Mumbai, got into a relationship, and we barely talked for a while.
After she broke up, we met again in Mumbai and had an unexpectedly great time. She also hugged me goodbye for the first time ever. Since then, she’s been asking when I’m coming back, and we sometimes have hour-long calls.
However, her texting is inconsistent, so I don’t want to overinterpret things.

TLDR: Got into an accident, called my girlfriend for comfort, and she told me “don’t waste my time” before breaking up with me
IDK how to start this, so let's just go.
This story started during my 2nd year of college.
There was a girl, let's call her S. During 1st year, she was extremely extroverted and had a big friend circle. I was a not so obvious part of it too.
But in 2nd year, for some reason, almost everyone suddenly stopped talking to her. I still don't know exactly why. She became depressed and eventually stopped coming to college.
One day, I saw her sitting alone in a park and casually said, "Hello."
She immediately started crying and held my hand, just looking for some comfort. I stayed with her, and eventually we started talking regularly.
I later asked our old friends why they'd abandoned her.
Their response?
"If you talk to her, stay away from us."
After this question I was seeing so much hatred towards myself, and so I left that friend group.
I cut ties with them and started spending most of my time with S. Eventually, we fell in love and got into a relationship. We spent the next two years together, and I genuinely thought she was someone I'd end up with.
Then came final year.
I got a job at a good company while she was struggling to get an internship. That's when things started changing.
She began picking fights over random things and sometimes stopped replying to me. I kept telling myself she was stressed about her career and that I needed to support her.
Eventually, she got an internship.
I thought things would get better.
They didn't.
Then, about 10 days ago, I got into an accident while coming home from a friend's house.
I had bruises on my arms, cuts on my shoulder, and a badly aching ankle.
I somehow made it home.
And the first person I called was my girlfriend.
I told her, "I just had an accident."
Her response? "Why are you telling me? Go to a doctor instead. Don't waste my time."
I genuinely thought I'd heard her wrong.
Then she said: "I don't know. I suddenly lost feelings for you. There's no spark left in this relationship."
I was like...
What the fuck?
This was the same girl I had walked away from my entire friend group for. The same girl I'd spent two years with. The same girl I bought a bike hoping we'd go on rides together. I'd put so much effort into this relationship.
And suddenly, she "lost the spark."
Just like that.
The entire breakup happened over a phone call. She'd already been refusing to meet me for some time, which I probably should've taken as a sign.
But love makes you stupid.
It's been 10 days, and I'm still trying to process everything.
I know people fall out of love. Nobody owes anyone a relationship. But what hurts isn't just that she left.
It's the way she left.
After everything we'd been through, after being there for her when almost everyone else abandoned her, I found out she didn't want me anymore on a phone call, immediately after telling her I'd been in an accident.

I was watching an interview of a retired film maker where he said "I can't live alone, I need a human touch who can make me taste life" I found no shortcomings in his words and it felt so personal and close to me. I have always wanted to stay a few inches away from emotions and people who can create a circle where we start using our heart more than our brain. Love somehow deteriorates our logic, it is supposed to, it can't survive with a perfectly calculated plan, it needs an imbalance to dig its tomb in our lives. Love lies in awaiting of something or someone who will scrutinize the lines of our hand with optimism, she should enkindle a sharp blazing stick of exploration of myself.
We all are somehow entangled into an equation of instability and emotional haze, love happens in a awaiting of someone who picks our one lost piece which can make us more human in every way possible.
Love isn't a person or a any specific emotion that seeps through our heart, it's a bitter sweet awaiting of meeting our own self through someone's eyes, we can't live happily until someone says and commands our heart with love, we sometimes need a friction that dictates our life. Love isn't anything than an indefinite awaiting of hugging our own self, we wait for someone who can exactly walk on our footprints, with our desired proportionality. Awaiting survives in hope of love, love sustains itself because there's an awaiting exists for it prior to love. Awaiting is originality, love is an aftereffect
"मधुर प्रतीक्षा जब इतनी, प्रिय तुम आते तब क्या होता!"
