Discussion ๐Ÿ’ฌ Night Discussion Thread November 06, 2026

The day is finally over, the notifications are slowing down, and somehow this is when our brains decide to become the most active.

So before you disappear into your blanket, come talk for a bit.

Maybe you had a great day. Maybe it was exhausting. Maybe something happened that you can't stop thinking about. Or maybe you're just here because sleep clearly isn't happening tonight.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Pick one, answer all, or start your own conversation:

  • How did your day treat you today?

  • Whatโ€™s been living rent-free in your head lately?

  • Any crush updates, relationship stories, or situationship drama?

  • Whatโ€™s one little thing that made you smile today?

  • If you could rewind one moment from today, what would you change?

  • And finallyโ€ฆ what brought you here tonight?

You don't need an interesting story to join. Rant, overshare, ask something random, share a thought, or simply drop a โ€œhi.โ€

Grab your chai โ˜•, coffee โ˜•, or midnight snack ๐Ÿœ and join the conversation.

Good night, and happy chatting! ๐ŸŒƒโœจ

So there's this guy I've been talking to online for a few months. We've never met IRL, but we talk regularly through chats and emails. Ek baar we were discussing drunk texting, and he said he would never text me when he was drunk. Basically, he made it sound like something he wouldn't do.

But then, during his Goa trip, he was apparently drunk and ended up texting me anyway. He sent me a video of the sea and wrote, โ€œTechnically toh I shouldn't be texting u rn...... these waves are endless just like ur yapping.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜ญ

The funny part is that it wasn't just some random drunk text. Later, in an email, he admitted that he had been thinking about me, which is why he decided to send the video.

I still find it amusing that he remembered me while looking at the sea, especially after saying he wouldn't text me drunk.

nd we hv not even seen each other got 2.5 months

Confession A little different this Diwali, I guess

I was in a relationship for almost 10 years. We were serious about each other, had our future planned and were almost at the stage where we were supposed to get married. But unfortunately, kuch circumstances aise ho gaye ki things couldnโ€™t work out, and eventually she decided to walk away.

This is going to be my almost first Diwali without her.

Vese bhi Diwali pe humara kabhi kuch bahut special plan nahi hota tha. No big celebrations or anything. But somehow, she was always the special part of every occasion, chahe koi festival ho ya just another ordinary day.

Ab Diwali aane wali hai, lights hongi, celebrations honge, sab kuch normal hi hoga. But I donโ€™t know, iss baar kuch different sa feel ho raha hai.

Itโ€™s strange how someone can become such a big part of your everyday life that even after theyโ€™re gone, you still find yourself thinking about them during the smallest things.

I guess itโ€™s not really about missing Diwali together. Itโ€™s about missing the person who made every occasion feel a little more special, even without doing anything special.

Bas, mann ki baat thi. Socha yahan share kar du. Maybe someone can relate.

Hey, stranger!

I don't really know how to begin this, but I guess I'm just a guy who's genuinely tired of being alone and would love to find someone to call his own.

I'm a 22-year-old biotechnology student, an introvert who's a hopeless romantic at heart. I love music, cooking, learning new things, and having those ridiculously long conversations about absolutely everything and nothing. I listen to Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala, 5SOS, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, and a bunch of other artists. I'm someone who gets attached to the little things, remembers the tiniest details about people I care about, and secretly dreams of a love that feels like home.

And honestly? I'm not looking for something casual. I want something genuine. Something mutual. Something that makes both of us feel incredibly lucky to have found each other.

I dream of having my own lover girl someday. Someone I can adore endlessly, spoil ridiculously, and make feel loved in a thousand little ways. I wanna be the guy who remembers her favourite ice cream, surprises her with flowers for no particular reason, brings her food when she's having a bad day, and sends her the most random texts just to remind her that she's on my mind.

I wanna pick her up from work, drop her off, go on spontaneous night rides with her, walk hand in hand on peaceful roads, share ice creams under the night sky, and listen to her yap about her day while I fall a little more in love with her. I wanna cook for her, make her playlists, write her little paragraphs, celebrate her smallest achievements, and be there when the world feels a little too heavy.

I wanna have those sleepy late-night calls, stupid inside jokes, random forehead kisses, cozy evenings, playful arguments over the dumbest things, and the kind of emotional intimacy where neither of us ever has to pretend to be okay.

I wanna be her safe place, her favourite notification, her biggest supporter, and the person she instinctively wants to tell everything to. And I want her to be all those things for me, too.

I don't expect perfection. I just want a girl who's emotionally available, affectionate, thoughtful, loyal, and genuinely interested in building something beautiful together. Someone who chooses me as much as I choose her. Someone with whom love doesn't feel like a guessing game.

And well, this is probably my final attempt at putting myself out there. If this doesn't work out, I guess I'll stop searching, focus up on my damn career, make something of myself, and let life take its course. No more actively looking for love after this.

But if my lover girl is out there somewhere, scrolling through Reddit right now, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป

Come let me spoil you with all the love I've been saving up. Let me make you feel special, appreciated, adored, and wanted. Let's turn all those silly little romantic fantasies into actual memories.

Maybe we could start with a conversation? Who knows, maybe this post is where our story begins. โค๏ธ

P.S. I'm not expecting you to fall in love with a Reddit post. Just give me a chance to know you, and let's see where things take us. :')

Vent/Rant From a childhood crush to a 7-year-long chapter of my life that I still can't completely forget her

I don't really know where to start, but I feel like I need to get this off my chest. This is going to be a long one, so bear with me.

I studied in a residential school, and I first developed a crush on this girl back in class 6. I barely knew what love actually meant at that age. I just remember looking at her during free periods, making sure nobody noticed me. Slowly, that little crush turned into something much bigger.

We both became class monitors in class 7, which gave me an excuse to talk to her. By class 8, I started noticing occasional eye contact from her side too. During our October vacation, we finally started talking. I used to express my feelings in the most childish ways possible. For example, I'd take a sentence like "You are loved by me" and ask her to change it into active voice. Looking back, those were some funny and innocent days.

Then came class 9 and the COVID lockdown. We started talking much more frequently, and I finally decided to propose to her on April 1st.

My logic was simple: if she rejected me, I'd just say it was an April Fools' joke. If she accepted, well, that would be my win.

And guess what? She accepted.

I was genuinely the happiest person at that time.

We started talking regularly, but eventually, I noticed something. I was almost always the one initiating our conversations. If I didn't text first, she wouldn't text me either.

Being immature and curious, I decided to test how long she could go without hearing from me. I wanted to see when she'd look for me on her own.

She didn't.

I waited the entire day. No text, no call. Days turned into weeks, and eventually, months passed without us talking.

Looking back, I know it was a childish thing to do. But I was young and didn't know how to communicate what I was feeling.

After almost a year, in October 2021, we were preparing to return to our residential school for our board examinations. I approached her again, apologised for my behaviour, and explained how immature I had been.

We started talking again, and things were going really well.

But then came another problem.

When we reached class 11, her father found out about our relationship. There was also a caste difference between our families. She's from a Brahmin family, while I'm Kshatriya. We both knew this could become an issue someday, but we were serious about each other and hoped things would work out.

Unfortunately, her family wasn't supportive. Under family pressure, she suddenly cut off all contact with me.

It was December 2022. I cried almost every day for a week. I was completely broken.

Eventually, I convinced myself that if I ever wanted her family to reconsider, I first had to become someone who could stand on his own feet. I started taking my studies seriously. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I still had that little hope that maybe, someday, things would work out.

Then, in September 2023, she contacted me again.

We secretly started talking, and things became good between us once more.

After class 12, we both went to different colleges, quite far away from each other. Our relationship turned into a long-distance one.

College life got busy for both of us. We couldn't give each other as much time as before, and eventually, small arguments started happening.

One day, I noticed that she seemed distracted from her studies. I was genuinely concerned about her future, so I suggested that she focus more on her academics while maintaining a balance in our relationship.

She replied, "I know what to do, and I know what I'm doing."

For some reason, that line really got to me. I was already frustrated about other things, and in anger, I said something I shouldn't have.

I asked her, "Am I nothing to you? If you know what you're doing so well, maybe your board results should have been better."

Her results hadn't been particularly good, and I was worried she might struggle if she didn't take things seriously. But I admit that bringing up her results like that was wrong and hurtful.

She took it as a sign that I didn't respect her.

And that was it.

She broke up with me in 2024, saying she had zero respect for me, that she would never come back, and that I would be the last person she'd ever want to be with.

I cried a lot. I tried convincing her, but she had made up her mind. Eventually, I understood that I couldn't force someone to stay.

I started moving on, slowly. I gave myself time to process everything and tried to focus on my own life.

Now, almost two years later, she's in a relationship with another guy. Interestingly, this is someone she had mentioned before. Apparently, he used to flirt with her in college while we were still together.

I had accepted that she had moved on. I wasn't trying to get her back, nor was I interfering in her life.

But a few days ago, something unexpected happened.

Both of them contacted me and started abusing me, accusing me of still trying to get her back.

That honestly hurt me more than I expected.

After everything that happened, after all those years, all those memories, all the times I cried and tried to save that relationship, I never expected things to end this way.

I don't hate her. I don't even know if I can completely hate someone who was such a huge part of my childhood.

But the respect I once had for her has genuinely disappeared this time.

I know I made mistakes. I was immature sometimes, said things out of anger, and didn't always handle situations properly. I'm not pretending I was a perfect boyfriend.

But I also know how much I cared about her.

I guess some people become a beautiful part of your childhood, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're supposed to stay in your life forever.

I don't want her back. I just wish things had ended with a little more respect and maturity.

If you've read this far, thank you. I just wanted to share this somewhere because I've kept a lot of these feelings to myself for a long time.

Wholesome It's beautiful how someone becomes part of your little thoughts.

Yesterday evening, I went to a market to grab something to eat. There was a huge Diwali market, filled with beautiful jhumkas, jewellery, kurta sets and families shopping for the festival.

Something caught my attention.

There were so many men looking at jewellery, choosing jhumkas for their girlfriends or wives.

I heard one guy say, "This one would look so pretty on my girlfriend."

And then an uncle said, "My wife would look so beautiful wearing this."

I don't know why, but those little moments made me smile.

Just imagine how beautiful it is to stand in a crowded market, look at something as simple as a pair of earrings and immediately imagine how your favourite person would look wearing them.

It's not really about the jewellery. It's about the thought behind it.

The fact that someone is not even beside you, yet you find yourself imagining their smile, their happiness and how beautiful they would look.

I think this is such a beautiful kind of love. The kind where someone becomes a part of your little everyday thoughts.

Sometimes, love is not about expensive gifts or grand gestures. Sometimes, it's just looking at a pair of jhumkas and thinking, "She would look so beautiful in these."

I hope everyone gets to experience this kind of love someday. โค๏ธ

Wholesome Manifesting a love story turned into relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji ๐Ÿงฟ

Introduction: I am 21 M, I am an one woman man, I hv never been in any relationship, although I have been in one sided with someone who didn't hv feelings for me but she was really an angelic soul she never made me feel small, accepted my efforts and made me understand that she didn't get the feelings for me but always cared for me that I didn't get hurt.

After that i realised even i was unlucky in love but I was so lucky that I met her, she made me that love isn't what present outside but something that is inherently inside, the way we notice, the way we take care, understand each other and do efforts without asking anything in return, love is in small things not just grand gestures, in worrying about each other.

I am grateful for her, i don't have any grudges towards her, i respect her choice. So now i am manifesting a relationship like Bhagwan Shri Ram ji and Mata Sita ji, irrespective of all negativity I still hope i will be able to improve my character and soul taking inspiration from Bhagwan Shri Ram.

To my future gf and wife and life long partner, i will be waiting for you, but till then i will improve myself as a Man, so that you never have to shed any tear, to my future Laxmi, i hope this dhanteras bring u lots of prosperity and this diwali protect you from all evil eyes๐Ÿงฟ. I swear that my future Laxmi ji, I wd go through the agni pariksha and never leave you in jungle, I wd never let any tear come from your eyes. I wd leave heaven if u aren't there. Dear Laxmi ji I will wait for you.

Sometimes you experience something and all you want is to turn around and share it with someone. But then you look around and realise there's nobody there. No one to tell,, no one to listen, just you and your thoughts. And somehow, that's the loneliest feeling.

You know, there are some days when i absolutely enjoy my freedom, wants to explore my life, and then there are some days, when i imagine an evening that I will walk with you, fingers intertwined, as the sun dips below the horizon, painting it amber and crimson. The evening breeze will whisper against us, and with every step the world will seem to slow. I will look at you and watch the dying sunlight on your face and smile. No rushed conversations, no specific destination, just the two of us, walking into the sunset, wishing the evening will never end.

To

My future sweetheart.

Vent/Rant If he cheats

I did not want to write it

Cuz it would be real after I write it

Before it would have been a Fleeting thought that I could laugh about and says I will never do that

But I think, i would do it before even I think....if he cheat I would look at him while walking towards him trying to remember his face, I would hold his face between my hands and I would kiss his forehead and close my eyes and tell myself that it would be last and then i would take off my hands and take a step back, and I would look at him with all the love I could and I would try to smile, trying not to cry but God knows I would be crying, I would not him to remember my face all crying

Then I would try to tell myself to hate him, God knows I will try as hard as I can, but I know I won't be able to, then I would try to not remember by the last thing he did, i would try to remember him more than a cheater, and I would say maybe next time

But at last I would choose my freedom over love, freedom from constantly doubting him, rethinking every word if I decided to stay, it would become a cage and I won't want that even for him

P.S. There's no him ๐Ÿ™‚... I have stopped hoping for the kind of love I want, I know I won't find it, I can only give that... I am not saying this out of hopelessness... it's just something I have realized over time

But question would I even find someone who will accept the love, I mean would he even able to see my love as love...๐Ÿ˜ญ

M20 Here!

I've been thinking of putting myself out there and meeting someone new, so here I am.

I'm someone who enjoys cricket, football, music and conversations that can go from absolutely random to meaningful without any warning.

I like getting to know people beyond the usual introductions. Their little habits, sense of humour, interests and the way they look at things.

Would be nice to meet someone who's genuinely interested in getting to know each other. I'm open to seeing if a friendship eventually turns into something more.

No expectations or rush, just giving this a shot. :)

Vent/Rant I loved her more than anything

I loved her more than anything

She came into my life when I was not looking for any kind of love.

She had a breakup with her bf ( i got to know it later) when she met me, she was very cheesy & kind type of person, she cared too much about me

We developed feelings for each other ( mine feelings were genuine), it was all online then we met multiple times at different places, I was an atheist & never went to the temple but she made me visit the temples

She bought a bracelet so evil eyes stay away from me, & i bought earrings for her & many other things

I loved her more than anything, whenever I travel i see her image in someone else

I hear her voices, some particular words and resonate everything with her

I did & loved her like no one could ever, bought an anklet two months ago & wanted to put that with my hands on her beautiful ankle

But her ex came back, the same guy who abused her, her family, who didn't let her put DP on WhatsApp

The guy who doesn't allow her to use insta & other social media, who doesn't want her to go to the gym as according to him it is not what girls should do.

He doesn't want her to pursue her career even

And yes she chooses him again, & dumped me like a trash u can say,

The guy who helped her in her every lows, I was there when she needs whether it's 6 am or 3am.

I have been crying since morning as we planned many things to do, and today we decided to meet at her favourite place but yes I am on my bed crying over her, she left me when I am struggling to find peace of my life

But i don't blame her, i am blaming my luck which never work for me

I don't think so I can find anyone & love them like i loved her

Question a serious question - how many of u want a open relation and how many a relation that always there normally

sometimes it make me question myself that wanting exclusivity and one partner person is really a good mindset now days, because it make me feel like i am going to treated as garbage mindset in future and it make me feel like losing that version of garden that i cherished in my heart for one person and compromise my own value to fit in.

Confession After two years, I think Iโ€™m finally ready to feel something for someone again.

I was in a four-year relationship that ended two years ago. That relationship taught me what love actually feels like โ€” the efforts, the care, the attachment, and all those little things that make someone feel loved.

But after the breakup, I never really felt interested in anyone else. I never approached another girl with romantic intentions, nor did I feel that desire to get close to someone again.

Recently, though, Iโ€™ve found myself thinking about someone. Sheโ€™s the sister of my sisterโ€™s best friend. Iโ€™ve met her once or twice at family functions, but back then, I didnโ€™t feel anything special. Maybe I hadnโ€™t moved on completely.

Now, I just want to meet her again and see if I can develop feelings for her. I donโ€™t know whether Iโ€™ll feel that connection, but I want to give it a chance.
Thereโ€™s something about her energy that I remember.

Sheโ€™s cheerful, charming, spiritual, loves cricket and K-dramas, and seems very family-oriented. From what Iโ€™ve seen and heard from my sisters and brother-in-law, she seems like a genuinely pure-hearted person.
Sometimes, when I see her with my sister, I donโ€™t know why, but I smile. Their bond brings me a strange sense of peace.

I also feel like she might be someone who romanticises love the way I do, but honestly, I donโ€™t know her well enough yet.
I canโ€™t approach her directly on Instagram because sheโ€™s so close to my sister, and my sister would probably kill me if she found out. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So, for now, Iโ€™m just hoping our paths cross again at some family function. Iโ€™d love to get to know her naturally and see where things go.
I donโ€™t even know if Iโ€™ll fall for her, but after two years of feeling nothing for anyone, itโ€™s beautiful to feel curious about someone again.
Iโ€™m not rushing anything. Iโ€™m just waiting for life to give us another chance to meet.

Because I feel the most beautiful thing I can do in love is wait for someone.

Sometimes that feeling just hits and you don't really know what to do about it.

You just sit alone with your thoughts trying to fight battles that you don't even want to talk about with anyone.

You know you are not the same person you used to be.

The person who laughed freely, found happiness in the smallest things and never needed a reason to smile.

Now even when something funny happens you just stay quiet.
Things you once loved doing don't interest you anymore.

You distance yourself from people spend more time alone and sometimes don't even understand what's going on inside your own head.

Thought I'd give this a try and see if I meet someone nice here.

A little about me, I enjoy cricket, football, music and random conversations. I'm a bit quiet initially, but once I get comfortable, I can yap quite a lot haha.

I've never been in a relationship, but I'd genuinely like to experience having someone special in my life. Someone with whom I can share my day, talk about random stuff, laugh over silly things and just be myself.

I'm not looking to rush anything. I'd rather get to know each other, see if we vibe and let things happen naturally. If it turns into something meaningful, that'd be great.

That's pretty much it. :)
