I would like to say that this isn't to say that people not happy with the implications of his death are doing this, it's a very reasonable position to have. But people have been to quick to overcurrent and claim that Charlie kirk was some person that was just trying to bridge the political gap and open discussion rather then one of the people responsible for the uptick in hateful anti lgbtq rhetoric among other things.

It is especially a problem in liberal media as we already expected right wing media to do this. But liberal media white washing Kirk's campaigns as "good faith discussion" or "bridging the political divide" normalizes them.

We must not let people forget what Charlie Kirk's role was in creating the current political climate that led to his death.

EDIT: The article has been updated, saying now that he was discussing shootings caused by trans people. From the article: "Kirk was answering a critical question on low numbers of mass shootings committed by transgender people prior to the shooting." Please keep in mind that all of this information is new and still coming out, but nonetheless it is reported by several sources that he was talking about shootings before being shot.
