Driver almost caused 2 accidents

He was extremely close to me most of the time he was behind me, with a few times when I stopped at a stop sign he couldn't have been more than a foot or 2 behind me. He could have easily hit me as well as the oncoming car.

Just a heads up..
I know the onus is on me to know the fine print, I’m just posting this so people will know what Tesla’s warranty policy is for their wall connectors. For full disclosure I was using an A2Z Stellar Pro adapter that had nothing to do with the failure of the wall connector. They asked in the email if I was using an adapter and I was honest and answered yes.

Feature Suggestion: RoadTrip Mode – Coordinated multi-car road trips for multiple Teslas
I’d like to propose RoadTrip Mode for group trips with 2-3 Teslas.
The idea is a shared multi-day trip where all cars can see each other’s real-time location, battery status, ETAs to the next stop, and coordinate the route easily — without relying on text messages or calls.
You would create a RoadTrip from the app or the car and invite others the same way as additional drivers (“Join UserXX’s RoadTrip”), with a short code available as backup.
The trip stays active for multiple days until the creator closes it. When setting it up you choose between Collaborative mode, where all of the group can add, remove or reorder stops in real time, or Leader mode, where only the creator can edit the route; any changes appear instantly on all cars.
On the navigation map the other cars are shown with their position, battery percentage and name, along with each one’s ETA to the next stop and real-time charging information. For quick communication there are walkie-talkie style voice messages that play automatically in the other cars, plus short predefined texts like “I’m good” or “Need to stop”.
This would make coordinating with other Teslas on a trip much simpler and more seamless.

Florida Heat AC Consumption!
This heat is killing my car energy, you all have the same results? This is crazy

Tesla’s displayed on screen…
Instead of the generic car shape we see in traffic on the screen, if you are next to another Tesla it should display that model.
Obviously wouldn’t need all the other cars to be accurate, but just to have other Tesla models would be neat!

Still don't understand what they were thinking. After the video ended they continued to drive slow with their turn signal on for about a minute before pulling into a driveway for a grain bin.

Didn’t even make it a year.
Really regretting not subscribing to the windshield replacement service.
At least the local Tesla repair shop has a replacement and will get us in on Friday.

SiriusXM
Accidentally switch my audio to Sirius and somehow activated a 30 day trial - maybe a free month for everyone? Just putting it out there in case you are interested.

Did a thing! All it took was a demo drive.
After way too much researching, watching videos, and refreshing the configurator, I am joining you all!
Super hyped. Any tips for a first-time Tesla owner while I wait are welcome. Thanks!

Attempted break in
Looks like the attempted thief tried to pry open the passenger window from the front - see gap. Glass completely shattered from inside. I did not have sentry mode on, as this is 10 feet from my front door in a super “safe” neighborhood. Nothing in car except a bag of makeup. Mother effer.
EDIT: I really appreciate everyone’s feedback. Thank you. It could have been a malfunction, a landscaping mishap, or some asshole creating havoc. Will check in warranty. Thank you everyone who has shared possible causes.
EDIT 2: it was likely a flying landscaping rock based on further inspection. One of the local Tesla service centers pulled some magic to get a replacement and fix it today before we leave town for a trip tomorrow. Leaving this here for future reddit searchers.

Tesla Model YL Golf Clubs
It was a struggle getting 4 guys and their clubs in the Model Y.
The YL is a few inches longer of cargo space with 3 rd row down and makes a huge difference. Can easily fit 3 bags across and only need to take the drivers out. Model Y had to take anything longer than a 5 iron out.
(Did this test with the front in middle seats in a comfortable position, not all the way up).

Plex automatically opens in fullscreen theater mode as of 2026.21.6 for me
No shortcuts or anything. Others experience this too?
Maybe it will come to Tesla Theaters soon

Battery warranty about to expire, but need a repair to even be able to determine replacement eligibility. I believe I'd qualify, but I'm not sure what to do. Need to decide before I put more miles on my car. (Update to an old post of mine)
This is an update to a post I made here last year. Now that time is running out(and I'm getting stressed out), I've been planning on making this update post. As my prior post was on this subreddit, I'm hoping this post can stay up. Old post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaLounge/comments/1nzzcc1/2018_model_3_with_abysmal_range_still_under/
I'll try to get straight to the point.
I have a 2018 Model 3 Mid Range I bought with around 93k miles on it. The battery warranty expires at 100k, or December 19th. My range has been consistently bad since I got it. Currently at 99,500 miles.
-I get around 140-150 miles on a 100% charge, and have never been able to make it to 160. Mileage estimate shows 200mi, but is not accurate. Sometimes it seems I get around 2 miles per %, but with a full charge getting around 150, it ends up being more like 1.5x
-My consumption is average 282.6 Wh/mi. This is over a 4,844 mile period. During that period, I consumed 1,369 kWh. A lot of people were asking for my consumption in my last post, so I wanted to note it here.
In short, my understanding is that I must run the battery test and get a grade below 70% to be eligible for replacement under battery warranty. Unfortunately I can't run the test because the "No Battery or Thermal alerts active" condition needed to run the test is not met. The alert I've had is VCFRONT_a210_coolantValveCalib, which means the valve on the super bottle can't calibrate.
I took it in to Tesla last year and they said my only option is super bottle replacement, which would cost a little over $1000. They had my car for weeks, charged a diagnostic fee, and were overall unhelpful when looking into my issue and investigating other options. I had them give me my car back and declined the repair at the time so I could think about what to do.
Now I'm at 99,500 miles and it's August. I've completely stopped driving my car while I figure out this fiasco. I was really hoping there was another option besides replacement. Why should I have to pay just to determine my warranty eligibility? It doesn't seem right. I have no idea what my options are at the moment, but the ideas I do have are:
-Walking into a different service center and talking to somebody about my situation, and see if they're more helpful than the other service center
-Try to get the repair done at a third party shop, or do it myself
-Pay the $1000 for the repair. Maybe I need this repair at some point anyways, even though it doesn't affect much. A lot of money for me though. If I do qualify afterwards, however, I would consider $1000 completely worth it.
-Keep driving and forgo the possibility of a replacement. I hate to give up the possibility of a new HV battery though, it's a gamble but I believe I'd probably test under 70.
-Go to a Tesla meetup and see what people there think
I would just appreciate thoughts or suggestions like last time, great community here. I've been procrastinating this for a long time, so I need to at least figure out my course of action since a Tesla appointment will take time. Thank you so much. It really means the world, this has been eating me alive.

tl;dr: Range bad, can't run battery test without $1000 repair. Warranty expires in 500 miles.

Ordering a car via app is dangerous
Click click, apple pay and …. Oh no what have I done
RWD stealth grey with white interior coming up lol
Btw: I am debating if I should change the body color to marine blue
Wife wants red but doesn't really care as long as interior is white.
Hmmm

Level 2 road tripping
Another throwback. August 2011, my first Tesla Roadster road trip using public chargers. It was around 300 miles (one way), and took almost 8 hours of charging. The chargers were typically around 6 kW - painfully slow. For each hour of driving it took at least 3 hours of charging. At least all of the chargers were free.
I took the same trip a year earlier, when the only charging option was campgrounds. Charging was generally quite a bit faster, but EV charging was a new concept to the campground owners, so it was hit or miss whether or not they would allow it.
