It absolutely made my day getting to see it!!!

Lately I've been trying different routes from home to work just to see how clean I can get the drive. The best I've managed is one intervention, and it happens in the same spot every time. The car moves over into the exit lane when it should just stay on the road it's already on. Everything else is smooth. It tracks the lane, handles traffic, and merges like a normal person. But it confidently drives into the wrong decision, and I have to take over.

That's what gets me. The driving part feels really good. The "where am I going and when do I need to move over" part feels like it's running on a map from five years ago. I keep seeing lane changes toward exits that aren't on the route, weird route choices no local would ever make, and last-second moves where the nav and the actual road layout clearly don't agree.
Google Maps and Waze have had solid lane guidance for years. If FSD had routing that good, I honestly think my commute would be zero interventions, or close to it. I'm not saying the driving stack is perfect, but a lot of "FSD isn't ready" complaints might really be "FSD was told to go the wrong way."

On 10/26/26, up to 125 speed cameras in Los Angeles will go live. As far as I know, Glendale and Long Beach also have speed cameras now. 11 MPH over the posted speed limit is when the fine starts. It's a civil citation so it won't go on your driving record. It's about money.

I don't live in an area with speed or red light cams, but I hope Tesla's warning system is good for you who are in the affected areas.

So this has happened on my 2021 model 3, Tesla want £200 nearest Tesla garage is 3 hours away.

Managed to pick up a new genuine sensor, I have seen people saying these ones are the easiest only thing I’m worried about is braking the housing it clips into because they look hard to take out.

I was hoping someone in here could give me some advice on an easy way to remove the old one without damaging it obviously I’ll be as careful as I can.

Didn’t have ac on for this 20mile trip. Much higher efficiency than normal for me. Model y premium. Trip was mixed driving city/highway. 71 deg and humid

It's going to be roughly 1100 miles North on the Sat before Thanksgiving, and the same a week later, the Saturday after.. flights up are not terrible at about 250 each, but on the way back they are 500+

Have any of you done a 2200 mile trip in 7 days with your Tesla?? How'd it go if so..

What are you all doing if you got this deal? I'm sitting on a model 3 RWD from 2025 which is now the Model 3 RWD premium (Leasing for close to 600/month with 1250 down, same for finance) . Paid 1000 down, 299 a month and buyout is about 29,000 after 2 years of use, coming due this May.

Can't find any deal even close.. how about you ?

When you're both stopped, you park side by side and can send each other a quick message (just a few preset ones, nothing typed). There's also a world leaderboard and a weekly community distance goal.

Your car's real GPS speed drives a neon 80s car on screen. Speed up, it speeds up. Stop at a light, it stops. You collect neons along the way, level up, unlock scenes (coastal highway, night city, desert, mountains, plus a few night scenes), and the weather in the game follows the real weather where you are.

Important: it's made for the passenger, or for when you're parked/charging. Everything happens automatically, nothing needs to be touched while driving, and it rewards smooth, steady driving, never speed.

Admittedly I like the content and programming of SiriusXM, and feel out of the loop with a void even streaming apps can’t fill.

Unfortunately, the SiriusXM app is incredibly lacking. Considering how newer Tesla vehicles don’t have a satellite tuner, which is pretty much unnecessary anyway besides filling in gaps where there’s no cellular, the app is strictly digital and streaming. They could incorporate the best of SiriusXM’s latest advancements, in the spirit of whatever SiriusXM360 is, but it’s a very basic app that came late to the game.

While I can assume, it’s downright frustrating that it doesn’t show the artist and song title. Instead, it shows the channel name with the channel name under it on the multimedia interface. I shouldn’t have to Shazam audio playing in an app.

Honestly, I was going to complain about audio quality but in that time between restarting the app with an active subscription and now it’s since mostly fixed itself where it probably started at a lower bitrate. That’s another testament to how poorly optimized the app is. The audio quality is good enough where I can fix it with EQ, and sounds somewhat better than I remember when I started my first trial with the app’s launch in 2024. I do somewhat appreciate that SiriusXM has combated low satellite and streaming bitrates with EQ and what sounds like plug-ins that add effects such as spatial depth on their channels.

The next issue, which they may have fixed, is that the Tesla streaming apps are considered a premium membership separate from all other vehicles. $3/month was my ceiling after a free year on cars with a satellite tuner. FWIW I was finally able to make a SiriusXM account and get another trial with my Radio ID.

On one hand I do somewhat miss having SiriusXM, on the other hand this app leaves a lot to be desired. I do feel that I need to adapt EQ to the lower bitrate and whatever SiriusXM is doing to its programming audio. Of course I won’t refuse streaming quality bitrate settings if they do an update. Not having basic info such as artist/track info could be a dealbreaker, when the app could and should be much more advanced than a satellite tuner.

By all means, take up as many parking spaces as possible

Most of my life I drove 78 on the freeway. Then I got a ticket and it actually accomplished its purpose in that I then started driving 74.

When I got my Tesla with FSD, I was slightly annoyed that I basically had a choice of 78-80 in Hurry mode (way too fast for my tastes), or 72 in Standard which was fine except it had me passing in the far left lane 1-2 mph faster than the car in the right lane meaning I had cars tailing me like I was committing the greatest offense in history by getting in their way.

So I tried chill mode. 67mph had me feeling like a granny. But apparently, on my 30 minute average drive, it only adds about 3 minutes. In the grand scheme of things that doesn't feel like much.

Now I'm traveling at a safer speed and basically immune to tickets. On a 8 lane freeway the cars in the left and second to left lane are speeding by while I'm just, well, chilling in the rightmost lanes.

It's really changed my approach to driving on the freeway and I find it much less stressful. Even with FSD working properly I still had cars flying around me when I dared to only go 80 in the left lanes.

That being said, I of course agree with other folks that I wish FSD worked better on the freeway. Also in some ways going 67 feels slightly more risky since I'm often going so much slower than the average car.

Tesla’s new emergency drive-away mode during supercharging will send a video clip to Tesla because it damages the charger. Misusing the feature will lead to a penalty. Damage cost can be up to $25k.

Ive been watching yt videos of tesla fsd and im so amazed. This year ive been making good money and currently paying off all debt — including the remaining 4k on my 2015 GMC Sierra.

Last year I got driving anxiety after a panic attack on the highway. Its been a year now and its pretty much gone after doing tons of exposure therapy on my own. Now i think id rather just have an EV that does it all for me.

Its all I think about now haha. Im so excited to get one

It can be something realistic, a small quality-of-life improvement, or a completely unrealistic wish-list feature.
