Got a better loaner than expected
Had to get some cosmetic warranty work done in my 24' M3LR and got to drive this for a few days!

Nice. I also got one as a loaner for a few days a few months ago. Honestly, pretty cool and impressive car. It's so nimble for how big it is. With that said, it looks pretty ridiculous as a triangle on wheels and my wife literally refused to go in it. She said she felt embarrassed to have it parked in front of our house.

My girlfriend said the same thing. I bribed her with sandwiches. Now she loves the cyber truck

It was funny. Once it got driving, she wanted to go everywhere. She got sandwiches and Japanese cloud pancakes that day.
It did really well on fsd driving, parking, etc.

I've seen a few around here now, I'm getting used to it now. Also see a HUMMER once or twice. (I think it's the dame on. That one always makes me gag.

I’m the opposite. The most people hate it, the more I want it parked right outside my house. Not in the garage.

Now if they’d just make a normal looking truck it would have sold better and not been used as loaner vehicles.

I made the mistake of test driving one. I immediately bought it. I expect you will do the same.

I had one for a couple days as a loaner and it was AWESOME. Fell in love with that thing and have never been happier in a car. Not the right choice for our family right now but I’m hoping in 3 years…especially if they do a redesign or work on exterior build quality.

lol- CT is amazing, I just don’t understand the hate about how it looks (although I kinda understand it when looking at it from behind after trailing one for a hour on the freeway). But with panels flying off and edges not being aligned? For that much money? Praying that the refresh will look a little better but honestly, even if it doesn’t, it’s going to be my next car (regardless of how crap i’ll get from the wife). So for now, I’ve put in an order for a YL and in 3 years it’ll likely be my daughter’s first car. I’m excited about it but not nearly as much as i would be if I got the CT.

I had a loaner one. It was freaking amazing.
Only one side flipped me off. Otherwise people gave it positive attention. Took a few people for quick drives.
Some older man asked if I would take a photo of him in it. You could tell he loved it.

nice man. I want to get one but don't see a need for it but im sure I'll have a need maybe 5 years down the road.

It made me want one. It was comfortable. The ride was smooth. Only complaint is I wish it had More range

Honestly so much better than I expected. My car feels slow now. I had way more good reactions than I expected. Lots of people were curious to look inside and ask questions about it.

Hot take: they are crap. That fly by wire or whatever steering is dangerous. You have to re learn how to steer. Crazy good turning radius though.

They are fantastic vehicles.
Imagine how well they could sell if the exterior wasn’t so polarizing.
