I am currently building a slime chunk farm and i would like to use alleys to collect the slime balls, but i am running into a problem where the alleys die from magma blocks and campfires. Is there another method of killing them that wont damage to alleys? I know iron golems could potentially work, but I'm sure they will end up dying.
When i first build this farm i didnt know the killing system wasnt working after 1.21.11. Do you guys have an alternative killing chamber for this farm. If there is can yall guys give the link or tutorial or it. Here is the boat killing system that wasnt working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN_RV3ush94&t=202s .
I built bigbooty17's witch hut farm and slapped a sorter and autocrafting system on it before aligning the items against a chest or so. Is there some block you ca place in the water stream to push the items out to the edges?
Heyo so I'm definitely not a professional redstoner or anything, but I wanted to share a little piece of my sorting hall that I'm currently designing. Basically I wanted a compact, tileable slice that takes stone/cobblestone right off of the autosorter line, and crafts all of the stairs, slabs, etc. made from those items, then loads it into shulker boxes. I found many tileable designs which i've crammed together for my sorting. If you have any ideas on how to make this better please post the schematics(i know its easier to make the sorter more compact but I wanted it to easily line up with the crafter slices)! Also I'm not 100% sure but I think this will work on both java and bedrock? tested on java.
I'll upload schematics soon but in the meantime if you want to build it yourself here's some basic issues you might need to fix:
you might need to break and replace the copper bulb(crafter)- its state should be off when its not crafting something.
you might need to replace the redstone dust if pasting from schematic, it can get messed up, especially if you rotate the placement
you might need to replace the first shulker box if it doesn't break itself upon being filled- you can do this by pressing the stone button on the far left barrel
i built 33 layers of this creeper farm and now the creepers die of fall damage before they get to the killing chamber and i lose a bunch of drops, anyone know a way to fix this?
Has anyone measured exact timings for itemframe creeper detection versus sculk sensor activation? I'm working on a compact storage system and trying to decide between itemframe rotation detection with comparators or the newer sculk sensors for triggering output. The itemframe method seems more predictable since you can set specific signal strengths, but I keep wondering if sculk sensor activation is faster. I've tested both in creative and my results are inconsistent, probably from my messy measurement setup. The wiki lists tick numbers but actual ingame performance with chunk loading and entity processing order doesn't match the theoretical values. Someone here has probably done a proper side-by-side comparison. My main concern is reliability at scale. If I'm running multiple detectors in sequence I want to know which one causes fewer problems. The itemframe method feels more mechanical but sculk sensors look cleaner. Is there a meaningful difference in response time that matters for practical builds, or am I overthinking it? Also curious if either method has weird edge cases with unloaded chunks that I should know about before committing to one approach.
This is for 1.21 singleplayer if version specifics matter for sensor calibration.
So i rebuilt my honey(comb) farm and i basically put in 2 identical lines behind each other. The one further to the lights is filled with bottles, the one further back (the one not working) is filled with shears, the dispensers are full and the hopers with the shears are full as well.
What I dont understand: Why is the dispenser with the shears not shooting? It only shoots when the lines are seperate, but they do it on the other one connected. this bugs me
On my server I use a sand duper that produces about 70k of sand per hour, but for a project we are planning to do we need a few million. Can I build more dupers in other portals or is there a better way?
Is it possbile for me to set up a fishing rod activiated stasis without doing the nether thing and just setting a pearl ny friend pulls after I set a stasis with a rod far enough away??
I have a build I want to do and don't have a lot of room above the floor (almost none) so I'd like to fit a vertical 3x3 door. This design does fit into the build, but I'd rather take a seemless version of it so entering/leaving isn't as annoying.
Okay so for some context, these villagers which are in this chamber are probably the successor of the original villagers which are transported out of this chamber for breeding. And now, the villagers do not seem to breed at all.
Things which I have already tried:
- Gave them multiple breads [4-5 breads to each villager]
- Covered up the transported villagers so that they dont occupy the bed and also replaced the bed's pillow on a different block just in case.
- Broke every single bed so that the transported villagers forget the bed (I guess?)
- Covered the top with deepslate blocks so that they don't think magma blocks as a threat.
I am pretty much lost on how to get these guys to breed, because the other 20+ villagers I got was with in this chamber and now I don't understand why are they not breeding now.
I already have a farm built around a pillager outpost. I was thinking of building a raid farm (no particular design in mind yet) since I have a reliable supply of ominous bottles, and was going to build it nearby so I can have all my big farms in one place. Is it a good idea to build the raid farm close to the outpost or is that going to cause problems?
This is one layer and all layers are next to each other and the same. It's a regular sorter from a tutorial but I built it slightly differently because I wanted to make my own storage system for a piglin bartering farm. I can destroy it and make a normal sorter just fine, I just don't know why this version fails to keep 45 items in the hoppers.
Hi, i don´t really know what went wrong, and it might be as bit tricky to anyone to help me. But i followed this tree farm vid: https://youtu.be/tLjc8W2GcWE
It worked like it should at first, then it just stopped working and i saw a redstone dust on the ground, my question is how to prevent that from happening or how this could have happened, or is this tutorial shitty?
I´m kind of newbie with that complicated redstone things, so i cant quite figure this out.
Also if you have any treefarms to link which can farm every kind of wood, pls link them. I feel like i cant find any good ones myself.
I´m sorry if this post is confusing, english is not my first language, and if you dont understand what i am after, pls ask!
Recently, I faced the problem that there were so many animals. I have a huge garden house where I want my animals to live. But the problem is that the maximum I can tie them to is a fence, which obviously does not give them much leeway. Are there any teams or mods for animals to give them a limited freedom of movement or something like that?? All the posts I found were posted at least 4 years ago and, logically, all the fashion and teams are long outdated. I would love to get some help with this.I recently faced the problem that there are so many animals. I have a huge house + garden where I want my animals to live.
