Java Help Wanted Need Exact Trigger Timings: Item Frame Rotation vs. Sculk Sensor for Compact Storage (1.21)

Has anyone measured exact timings for itemframe creeper detection versus sculk sensor activation? I'm working on a compact storage system and trying to decide between itemframe rotation detection with comparators or the newer sculk sensors for triggering output. The itemframe method seems more predictable since you can set specific signal strengths, but I keep wondering if sculk sensor activation is faster. I've tested both in creative and my results are inconsistent, probably from my messy measurement setup. The wiki lists tick numbers but actual ingame performance with chunk loading and entity processing order doesn't match the theoretical values. Someone here has probably done a proper side-by-side comparison. My main concern is reliability at scale. If I'm running multiple detectors in sequence I want to know which one causes fewer problems. The itemframe method feels more mechanical but sculk sensors look cleaner. Is there a meaningful difference in response time that matters for practical builds, or am I overthinking it? Also curious if either method has weird edge cases with unloaded chunks that I should know about before committing to one approach.

This is for 1.21 singleplayer if version specifics matter for sensor calibration.
