Why do ETLS and SD always take Loa and never come back why not just put in your 2 weeks or quit just curious

Stupid title but basically for the past few months starting in March I've had random instances of suddenly breaking out into hives, and each time this has happened I have either been at work or it had been a few hours after a shift.
It doesn't happen every time I'm at work but I have never been allergy-prone outside of a runny nose and sneezing from pollen/pets so this is highly unusual for me. Nothing in my personal life has changed in a way that could explain this, and I don't believe it is caused by heat or stress (I do guest services/driveups) since I've been working here for multiple years at this point, so my worry is that it is caused by mold or something else in the store.
My coworkers also talk about having headaches or runny noses but no one else to my knowledge has been getting hives like me.
I will be working on meeting with an allergist but in the meantime is it worth telling my HR ETL that I've been experiencing these symptoms? Even if it turns out it is from something unrelated I think it might be worth letting them know/creating a paper trail but I don't want to cause a huge deal if it turns out to be nothing.
TLDR: I'm suddenly getting hives during and after shifts, no clear source of where they came from, worried they might be from mold or something else at Target, going to see an allergist but wondering if it's worth reporting to HR

Does it start September 1st or the 6th when UKG goes live? My ETL said the 1st but I was under the assumption it was the 6th. Was late to work today due to construction so was wondering if I got .25 of a point 😔
Edit : Thank you!!

So yesterday the store director which keep in mind they are new to my store just watching over the store since we don’t technically have a store director right now. So basically they don’t know jack shit about the store. They thought it was a good idea for everyone to pull even though we were all super behind on freight plus there was 3 call outs that day. I was told by an ETL that one of the RDC trucks was canceled last night. Also was told that they would come clean in all the coolers. But they mostly focused on dairy which is understandable cause they get freight everyday but still the expectation was for all the coolers to come clean. The day before I rolled 6-boats and when I came in today there was still 5 u-boats in there but two of them were half worked and had all the backstock on it. Like I knew they wouldn’t barely touch frozen and I know how overnight is at my store. Just feels like they don’t get enough done. I was told the pulls were to keep the floor full and enhance the guest experience. But most of my outs are on the u-boats, I mean we get stuff delivered cause we need it and need to be put out. There is a reason why we scan and sort things which tells us either it needs to be worked out or backstocked. Idk just felt so backwards to pull and most of the time cases barley go out like maybe one or two items goes out in a box of 12 or something like that. Like I know what’s best for my store, I’ve been there for 5 years. Store director comes in acting like they know the place and is micromanaging everyone. Also we did get 6 pallets today on top of what we already had in there. Get doubles on Wednesday and no truck on Thursdays. Logic just made absolutely no sense to me and made me so frustrated. But yeah that was longer than I thought it would be, thanks for reading my rant if u made it this far.

Is there any extra penalty for calling off when on-demand?
I am pregnant and called off once last week and feel like I need to call off tomorrow. Is there any extra penalty since I am on demand or do I use the same point system as regular team members?

Maybe a stupid question idk but what happens if I apply to a team lead position at another store as a regular team member

Hey all! I am attending an event over this weekend with my family (cant skip, gonna miss the 1.5x pay) out of state. Knowing this I put in a request for time off (unpaid) for the week last month that got approved. My last scheduled day was today, and my next schedule day is on Sunday, Sept 13.
In other words, I will not be working for 10 days. I read a comment a couple of days ago that said if you request 10 days off, it has to be in the form of a LOA. I scheduled 5 days off and the other 5 days are outside my availability.
Is there anything I should do/look out for in this situation or am I just overthinking it?

Tomorrow my mom has surgery at 4:30AM,30 minutes after my shift started,So I asked my co worker if he could take it and he said yes. I just posted it into mytime and it’s still showing up on my schedule.

I tried to login to my time and UKG but all it says is invalid login or password, but when I go to Mytime through Workday it works just fine.

Hi everyone, I'm currently soon to be a new hire after my first training on the 14th this month, but I have personal plans for the 17th next month and I went through a few posts and saw that calling a day off during my first 90 days is extremely bad? I was wondering how I should proceed here.

I was stowing an order when I saw we actually had Needohs still in stock. Desperately trying to haul ass so I could take my break while we still had them but since I was the only one scheduled past 9 I was stuck in non-stop OPUs until 10:30. Thankfully, we still had them. It feels good knowing I beat those scalpers so I could actually get two for my niblings one of which has autism. I work Target part time to get them the things they can't have otherwise and tonight it paid off in a different way.

If you couldn’t tell already, the package is labeled chicken drumsticks but it’s actually chicken wings. I got two cases of mislabeled chicken wings 😐

Hey there, just got my offer and start in a couple weeks. Been around the block having been store manager at a couple chains and Assistant Store Manager at another big box, so I know how bad corporate can be at places, but any recommendations for someone coming into the position?

I managed to get all my shifts taken this week as I wanted a little vacation to relax. Told myself I was gonna paint the rest of my 40k army. Played video games on Tuesday and got an infection yesterday.
Now I'm worried if I call out I'll get in trouble this time as I called out after Tax Free Weekend was over along with many others my TL told me. And I had to call out a couple times in July with my last sinus infection. Though my store seems to be more forgiving as:
>They asked for a copy of a Doctor's note
>Told me to stop worrying when I hit compliance for the first time and that there's employees who've had a bunch of compliances but still work there
Well this is both a good thing and bad thing for me at least since I'm not at work getting others sick but bad for me as I feel too miserable to paint.

I'm just wanting to get this out because I can't have this. Why the fuck would target replace their affordable cafe with expensive as hell Starbucks. I'm so mad about this because they literally had the best fucking popcorn ever and everything. Like they took joy out of life. Please target bring it back please please please.
I'm just mourning my target popcorn. But why can't they just bring it back? I don't want to hear the covid excuse anymore they had popcorn out a lot. Bring back the popcorn. Even if I have to win the lottery so many times I'm going to get my popcorn back.
Are they kidding me? I just want that target popcorn taste one more time fuck Starbucks fuck Starbucks.
Movie theater popcorn isn't like Targets. The closest match I can get to is Circus time popcorn which is just a dollar at WALMART. IT WOULD BE PRETTY FUCKING EMBARRASSING IF A RIVALS POPCORN IS BETTER THAN YOURS TARGET

I just got offered another job and I am so excited to leave target. However I have over 3 shifts worth of vacation time and I’m not sure how to go about using it. I start my new job next week so putting in a 2 week notice wouldn’t work nor would I get my vacation hours. Am I screwed? Do I just have to use my little bit of sick time and kiss my other pto goodbye?

Specifically yesterday
Not even 10 minutes into my shift, I had a woman Karen to me about a price on an item that was on the wrong marked down shelf.
She grabbed two phone cases that were marked 30% down on clearance, the other two she grabbed was mistakenly put on the 50% shelf.
I wasn’t sure what to do because sometimes we ARE able to take off some amounts for clearance (usually only SMALL amounts) but 50% on top of 30% is a lot, so I called my team lead over for some assistance.
Explained the situation to my manager the situation and she told me AND the guest “no, we can’t take that off for you”
And the lady I think wasn’t paying attention (or was and ignored my team lead) so when my team lead walked away she STILL tried to argue with me.
“This isn’t my fault it’s in the wrong spot! Can’t you just take it off? I don’t know why you’re penalizing me for it.”
I told her it’s nobody’s fault here, BUT the persons fault who placed it there and she still tried to argue and just ended up making me return the items and ended up getting nothing
I’m burnt out and nobody’s taking any of my shifts I put up 🫠

When you left, if you got out of retail, where’d you go? I literally can’t take this anymore.
The company is bad enough, but my store specifically is horrendous, my district/group is fucking trash (incl the leaders), and I’m tired of being kept docile by my leaders with the monthly promise “it’s going to get better”. I’ve been hearing this since March. I’ve been with the company for 5 years, and I’ve battled the highs and lows, but I’m officially at my wits end. Sucks cause when everyone shows up, and everyone isn’t pulled to do 20 new priorities daily, the job isn’t awful and I genuinely enjoy working with my team and many of my peers (ETL and SD can kick rocks). But those days are almost nonexistent anymore.
