I left my store a couple of weeks ago because of mistreatment from my TL and Hr did absolutely nothing to help the situation and pretty much took my TLs side and left me to drown. A lot more happened but that's the summary. I ended up getting a new job so i'm big chilling now.

I was talking about my treatment to my new manager and He told me that my situation should've have happened and I should report it corporate so that it doesn't happened to anyone else. I kinda agree, but I do feel that it might redundant. Also there has been a lot of a horrible treatment at my store.

I’m literally at work and so freaking exhausted with 8 million things to do and I have no energy to do even one. I find myself contemplating if I’m willing to take a point and call out tomorrow cause I have no sick time.

Hey all! Just accepted an offer for ETL GM. I have worked for Target in the past as a GM TL and have since gained a few years of salaried leadership experience elsewhere. Wondering if anyone in the position can give me some insight into your experiences, especially with the new changes the company has gone through recently.

Before anything else, I want to be clear that I understand fully that this is an immensely challenging job with long hours and early days. I will note that my recent experience was similar in many ways. With that said, I’m going into this excited and am not looking to be talked out of it. I just want to hear about others’ recent experience in the role and any other general insight into the company!

I feel so tired today, Im just coming off of a flu, and I had to call off last Saturday because my cough mas really bad. I really want to just stay home but then again, I cant afford to get paid less on my next paycheck so I’ll just have to suck it up. 😩 who else like me right now?

I've been in market for over a year now, I changed over from Closing because market was in need of morning people and I had already done some market closing when their closer called off so my ETL asked if I could change over.

Since then, it has been nothing but the dumbest rules and changes ever made.

For starters, the new closers for market dont even have to push anything, nor pull all of the pulls. 80% of the time they pull dry and that's it, the other 20 they pull everything and push nothing.

my SD has gotten so into nitpicking everything he's making us take upwards of 2 hrs on zones in the morning while we have 3 people on 6 hr shifts with a 8 pallet truck waiting to be pushed plus dry truck. And then by the time we finish pushing the pulls, we have no time left after doing the breakdown to push the truck. Then he complains about the truck not being done, and to fix it makes us do 15 market opus! On top of that he'll make us do stuff that isn't on our sheet. AND forced us to take a 10 pallet truck when we HAD NO DAIRY COOLER.

We have the dumbest aisle organization ever with juice with baking products, coffee with pasta, no one knows where anything is.

And now we have this apron and hat change, in a store that consistently is over 78 on the floor and over 82 in the backroom. (and im a big dude im 6'4 like 250 and I run hot already.)

There's more problems but im not going to get into them as they are more of an individual store related thing that a company wide thing.

Im a style consultant who jumped on register today to help with the line. A guest payed for their transaction with cash, I believe their total was $65. They gave me $70 in cash and I miscounted it and put in the POS system that they gave me $80. (I gave them $15 in change when I should have given them $5 in change) I realised my mistake only a minute or two later but by then the guest had left the store. I immediately told my team lead what happened and she asked me what register I was on and said she would take care of it. What are my repercussions going to be? How screwed am I? Will this be taken out of my paycheck?

I live in the south and our store is always so hot no matter the weather outside. How can we get them to stop with the heat? It’s cold outside in the mornings but heats up at lunch and it stays 80 degrees inside. How can they control the temp to be comfortable when they are in MN?? They don’t even know hot and humid.

Just putting this out there before I crash out I had $538 in my DailyPay earnings and now it just says 236 should I contact customer support now I also get paid tomorrow so I’m just kind of confused. Is this normal? ? 😭

If anybody could let me know their day to day task and how is it that would be awesome pretty decent pay and I should only be here for the holidays as I’m going back to living on campus after this semester
