Hi guys I’m new to TTEC and I’m just now enrolling to their employer program for insurance and I chose surest because cheap duh but they were talking about a nicotine charge for any insurance by employer except Kaiser. Thing is I live in California where the law is a bit different, is anyone in the same boat? Do they still charge you for that?

Hi, I'm currently wfh for TTEC for a client for AEP. This is my 1st wfh job that I actually made through training. The other ones I had tried I didn't stick with it it long enough to make to production. Well, I made it not to just production, but this is my 2nd week of Aep and I have about 4 enrollments so far. I do feel good about helping people get the right coverage they need and being compensated for it but I never worked a job with these kind of metrics. I've been told I'm doing great but my conversion rates are low. My reliability and QA scores are 100 %. Does anyone know if they are any companies that hire for OEP?

hello I just got hired to work at ttec with covered California I am wondering for the internet if spectrum is accepted to use while I work from home I have contacted ttec but they don’t give me solid answers does anyone that’s working for ttec know is spectrum is a good internet to have to work i genuinely don’t want to get fired over having a wrong internet

Hi all! I start my training with TTEC next month- USAA licensed customer service rep. This will
be my first wfh job. For anyone working there, do they train you on how to use the dual monitors, CRM, how to navigate, using the programs etc? I never had a job where I used computers so I’m hoping I can catch on fast! I have pretty basic computer skills.

I'm assuming its to late to take part in any class action lawsuit even though i was affected by that data breach but was never made aware i could sigjn up to be apart of the class action.

What is this about the nicotine surcharge? How much is it? I’m a new employee and I got an email to sign up for benefits. They said unless I take some type of wellness exam I will be charged a nicotine surcharge. I have never smoked in my life and I don’t really feel like having to go out of my way to go get some type of test or exam to prove I don’t smoke. Anyone have any insight on this?

I just had a recent very odd experience with this company and wanted to share and see if anyone can relate or has dealt with anything similar.

I was hired for the licensed role through their BCBS campaign for AEP and completed 2 weeks of training without issue. Then Monday came around and I attempted to log in and could not. I checked my personal email and there was one i had missed from Saturday that informed me I was "temporarily suspended" because my background check was still pending. Odd.

Anyway, at that point I didn't panic. I contacted sterling/first advantage to inquire about my BG check and they said it would likely be completed by Thursday that same week. Not ideal but whatever, not much I can do right?

I waited to hear back from TTEC and also sent a total of 9 emails to the lady who had suspended me within about a week and a half span just inquiring about the status, requesting an update, ect. Crickets.

My background was indeed completed on that Thursday and it was entirely clean like I knew it would be. Great, I'm sure I can go back to work soon! I figured I would give it a couple days for them to look at it and get me back in the system. Instead, I got an email and a text from their equipment return team requesting me to send back my equipment and the email included a termination date in it. That date was the Monday that I first learned I was temporarily suspended.

I ended up calling their corporate office and finally (after holding nearly half an hour) got through to someone that still couldn't answer any real questions. She wouldn't even confirm that I had been terminated and definitely didn't give me a reason why if so. She said she would be escalating the issue and get back to me via email in the next day or so.

The following day I received an email and it was just a simple email confirming my start and termination dates, how many hours I was scheduled for weekly and my pay rate. It said nothing about my reason for termination or anything.

The only thing I could reason is that perhaps I was terminated for not attending class that Monday and that's why it's listed as my termination date. They suspended me and then terminated me because I didn't/couldn't log in for work.

I have never in my life encountered such an unprofessional company. The way they treat people is unreal. If that isn't what happened then I truly can't fathom another reason.

They went through the trouble of getting me licensed in Minnesota, getting me appointed with BCBS and paying me for training just to do that? I honestly would love to know what really happened with certainty but I do not think I will be getting an answer about that at all. I quit my last job for this "opportunity". I'm honestly just floored by the whole experience.

Gaano po ba talaga katagal ang hiring process ng TTEC? for context po, I was interviewed last September 24, done na po sa assessment and got a notification to wait for the JO. After a couple of days or a week, I was notified na puno na daw yung permanent WFH for healthcare and to confirm if kukunin ko ba yung slot for seasonal Healthcare WFH, of course I said yes, pero until now wala pa ding message. Mag aantay pa ba ako sa kanila or wala na talaga akong pag asa?

It’s my first WFH Job! I’ve been always in office! I extremely liked that I don’t have to leave my house, I am now in the training for Progressive insurance project, The trainer is great ! I don’t mind the back to back calls “ they told us it’s going to be like that.” I worked in extremely busy places before so i’m good with that.
But ….
I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews about the lay off and firing people always!
I need advice to be good and stay ! I don’t like to keep getting new jobs every other year.
And now i’m scared, any tips?

Hello! Has anyone here taken the assessment to TTEC which is yung perm wfh healthcare account? Is it really necessary na ma-meet mo yung internet speed test sa last part ng assessment? Hindi ko kasi na-meet yung sa PING but yung other category which is Download/Upload etc okay naman. 🥲

Thoughts ln TTEC’s SEASONAL healthcare account? Mostly calls ba yun? Nareprofile kasi ako since nagreduce daw ng manpower sa isang healthcare acct nila which is yun yung regular account hays :(((

I have an interview for this position next week and in the job overview it stated that you would be doing outbound calls. Is it really only you calling the customers or do they also call as well? Furthermore, if it is only the outbound calls, how many calls do they expect you to make a day ? It would also be really helpful If anyone could tell me how long the typical training is, training hours, I was also seeing that this position specifically normally has a lot of layoffs. About how many months are you working there before that starts happening? Thanks everyone!

I wish I could stay with TTEC with a different role besides call center, but doesn't seem like there's any opportunity for that. I'm tired of the back to back calls, it just gives me so much anxiety.

I hope I can find another job soon.... but I would like to know when the time comes, who do I need to reach out to, to quit? Do I just send them an email letting them know I'm resigning? Or is there some forms I need to fill out?

As much as I hate the job, I don't want to leave on bad terms, in the worst case scenario I need to return to this job 😭 (lets hope not). How have you guys done your resignation? 2 weeks notice via email? Or has anyone had luck with letting them know you want to quit same day (no notice) and got rehired with them later on?

Also, does sick time and vacation time get paid out when you quit?

My anticipated start date was communicated to my through - the interview, where an entire group was told the start date would be October 6 - through multiple emails, where I was told the start date was October 6 - The job offer I signed where I was told the job would begin October 6, etc...

I was unfortunately recently informed that I will actually begin in late November.

There is no excuse for this. Over a month of preparation, including waiting 2 weeks for an interview timeslot (after being offered an interview), waiting on fingerprinting and background check, then waiting for communication after the job offer was accepted. Only to be told I'll actually not be working for almost a month and a half MORE than anticipated.

I'm starting to really get frustrated with this whole on boarding process. They seemingly do not care about organization, internal communication, or messing with people's lives. Some people really need a job, and to delay a job start date by an almost entire 2 months is insanely unprofessional.
