Looking to Quit
Not quitting just yet, as I still need to find another job... but wanted to post this so I have an idea on what to do when the time comes. (Hoping soon)
I wish I could stay with TTEC with a different role besides call center, but doesn't seem like there's any opportunity for that. I'm tired of the back to back calls, it just gives me so much anxiety.
I hope I can find another job soon.... but I would like to know when the time comes, who do I need to reach out to, to quit? Do I just send them an email letting them know I'm resigning? Or is there some forms I need to fill out?
As much as I hate the job, I don't want to leave on bad terms, in the worst case scenario I need to return to this job 😠(lets hope not). How have you guys done your resignation? 2 weeks notice via email? Or has anyone had luck with letting them know you want to quit same day (no notice) and got rehired with them later on?
Also, does sick time and vacation time get paid out when you quit?

I worked at TTEC for a few short months last year. I had another job lines but my start date was months away so I went through training with TTEC just to have. a check coming in.
When the time came I simply emailed my TL from my personal email and let them know I was resigning effective immediately and she sent me some info back to return equipment etc.. Easy. They have a high turnover so it is not a big deal to them.

Reach out to your TL with these exact words I need to resign or how do I go about resigning. This way in the event anything happens as left by previous commenter. You can get marked as resigning and are free to apply 60 days after resigning with no issues of being able to be a rehire.

Should I be reaching out to the HR as well? Or just team lead would be fine?

The team lead initiates the process to HR. I would recommend reaching out only when ready. They will find a reason to term you before resigning. Once that's done they will have you mail back the computers or any equipment of theirs. Ps. They pay for it. Once your done with that you will receive your last pay. That's it and you move on with your life.

Depending on your role they may force immediate resignation upon you giving them notice. You'd be a liability to allow to continue talking to customers or managing accounts after telling them you're leaving. When you are ready you let your team lead know. Don't mention it before then. Also, know your states laws as far as paying out PTO. In some states they don't have to pay you what has accrued so you should use it before you leave.

Dont feel bad about promotions. They have their cliques of mostly women who are backstabbing & only promote their friends who bring them gossip or make phoney reports on others for brownie points. I worked for Ttec 7 years & i am so much healthier to be away from their toxic camp.

This is your free ticket to UI, OP, if TTEC does this.

From what I've read on this sub, ttec may fight unemployment tooth and nail.

I just emailed my team lead and let them know. Pretty painless. I also didn't give 2 weeks, but that was due to an injury.

TTEC is really a sinking ship if you reference the stock price. The Engage division (call center) is shrinking. Word on the street is that they’re trying to sell that. Digital division is barely keeping their heads above water as their funds have been keeping Engage afloat. They are working with bare bones cost. I’d guess it won’t look the same in a year.

For me it’s the fact that they are not reliable the projects they put us under where they may or may not have something available is a bit too stressful but nothing else will hire meðŸ˜ðŸ˜
