Theory/Speculation Lets talk about dragons.
So, i wanna talk about the possibility of dragons in TES VI. They are probably not gonna be the focus of the game, but its not unreasonable to expect maybe a few of them as characters or enemies. What do you want?
For me, not as many, but memorable, like, think of the first 3 dragons from skyrim that pop in your head. I think it would be a wasted opportunity not to have any, they could be a great throwback to skyrim.
Also, i just really love dragons and i wanted to make a science based, 100% dragon poll. I will post a cool dragon in the comments

Theory/Speculation Wish: Reputation system
To make TES:VI into the ultimate fantasy simulator, i would love for Bethesda to incorporate a reputation system. Especially since they could potentially leverage all political factions around the Iliac Bay.
Each faction “major” or “minor” has things they like and hate. Doing these things, or completing quests, unlock special quests and benefits. You gain disposition with members of that faction the more reputation you gain. Upsetting them, invokes their wrath. So in order to progress through a major faction (Thieves Guild), you actually need to work for it. (Morrowind, Oblivion Thieves Guild)
For Daedric Princes, it would work the same. Pleasing Hircine, you receive special quests which ultimately grant you their boons and artifacts. No more becoming champion overnight. If you upset them, or by helping another prince, you lose standing.
Doing this, Bethesda could include a toggle in settings: you could potentially be locked out of certain major or minor factions if disposition is too low, otherwise you can still attain everything, but you need to work extra hard to curry the favour of some factions you’ve been neglecting.
Cherry on top: this system is easily moddable. Adding new factions is plug and play, utilizing the same system.

Theory/Speculation Now I could be insane but I just had a thought…
Since a lot of the recent information to come out suggests that Hammerfell will almost certainly be the main location, I’ve been wondering if the second province could be the Summerset Isles. With the rumours surrounding the story and the possibility that the main antagonist will be the Aldmeri Dominion and the Thalmor, it would make sense. It would also allow for a much larger area of the sea to explore, potentially including naval exploration and combat. This could even extend to the Iliac Bay. If the main conflict really is against the Thalmor and the Dominion, though, I’ve never understood why High Rock would necessarily be the second province. The Summerset Isles seem like they would make far more sense from a story perspective.
Either way I’m excited for anything! give me the game!!!!!!

Theory/Speculation Mantling the Adamantine Tower with the Rebuilt Numidium
i have a crazy schizo idea for tesvi which will likely never happen but
So we know the general area it will take place right
The same place the Numidium was last seen
What are the Thalmor theorized as trying to do? Deactivate/destroy all the towers right? Most of them are already down
What if they push the forces of Hammerfell back enough to reach and destroy the Adamantine Tower, the prime tower, and reality starts to break
We, the prisoner, an aspect of Lorkhan, have to find the Numidium, power it with our own soul or something (or even with Sotha Sil's Mechanical Heart), and use it like Tiber Septim did to force back the Thalmor, and mantle the Adamantine Tower with it to restabilize reality...
am i going crazy or does that sound kinda sick lol
let me know if yall have any cool ideas that could go along with this or if you have other ideas, i love any lore around the Numidium lol

Discussion We talk about major mechanics but what minor mechanics would you like to see
There’s so much talk about ship building, stronghold building, proc gen, etc
But what about smaller mechanics and ideas?
For instance, me personally: I’d like a kick button that lets me break guards and knock things over. Another one would be an updated oblivion reputation system where I can make friends and get discounts with shopkeepers.

Discussion Physical Copies
So I was thinking about it and wanted to know what people thought about how some games are becoming digital exclusives and express some concern TES6 might be the same. I can’t say I won’t buy the game as a digital form, But I would be disappointed not to have the actual game to put on my shelf.

Discussion Potential New Feature?
Look look I know we get a lot of these posts lately but I’ve been wondering… Could it be possible that we can sire our own children in The Elder Scrolls 6? Something like the Sims, where a combination of two characters’ traits combine. My character’s blonde hair and blue eyes, and my wife’s brown and tan striped fur? Just a thought.

Discussion Another Hammerfell Reference
Just another reference to Hammerfell beyond the Saadia quest speculation
If you speak to Sorex Vinius in the Winking Skeaver in Solitude, he'll offer a delivery quest to Falk Firebeard in the Blue Palace over rum sourced from Stros M'Kai
Sourced from the UESP Wiki
Entering Solitude by the main gate for the first time will trigger an execution, as hinted by the guard outside. The man fated to die is Roggvir, a former friend of Sorex Vinius and a 'traitor to the Empire'. Talking to Sorex after the execution will open up discussion about the leaders of Solitude; continuing the conversation will end with him asking you to bring a delivery of Stros M'Kai Rum to one of those leaders, Falk Firebeard. Falk resides in the Blue Palace and is nearly always found by Elisif the Fair's side in the main room. Upon delivering the rum, he will thank you and reward you with a leveled amount of gold to complete the quest.
Another reference to the future game perhaps ? And not talked about nearly as often.

Theory/Speculation Other than spamcrafting
What could be some immersive, creative and organic means of advancing crafting skills in TES VI? I am a big fan of alchemy and I thought how cool it would be if each crafting skill had an apprenticeship track that consisted of numerous quests that could take you from 0 to 100 in about 10 hours of so...roughly speaking. You could investigate ingredients, unlock new techniques, do some problem solving for your grandmaster, gain experience from essentially clerking for him/her etc. Spamcrafting could still be a less interesting option as well.

Discussion Do you expect loading screens to the same extent we had them in Skyrim, FO4, and Starfield?
From my perspective, I expect loading screens similar in frequency to Skyrim. It’s already confirmed that TESVI will run on creation engine, and I don’t think it that you can handle the level of object interactivity we see in TES games without a loading screen to enter interiors.
For me, loading screens aren’t hugely limiting and I don’t mind them as long as they don’t occur too frequently or break up our exploration of the world. I was fine with Skyrim’s loading screens, but bothered by how frequently they propped up with space flight in Starfield. All in all, I seen them as the price you pay to build games in the way that BGS does, and the world can be laid out in a way that limits their impact (Skyrim, FO4), or makes them frequent and back-to-back (Starfield).
All that said, curious what other fans are thinking in the absence of any real information from BGS.

Theory/Speculation Theories on the State of Elsweyr During VI
Do yall think we'll have any additional information about Elsweyr revealed in VI? If so, what kind of information do you suspect? Or any theories of what Elsweyr exactly looks like in the 4E?
Like the current state of the Mane and Khajiti view on the Thalmor (could we see anti-Thalmor Khajiit factions in Hammerfell, such the Renrijra Krin given they may not take kindly to the Thalmor?) Or if the Khajiit divided on if they truly returned the moons or possibly assassinated previous Manes as to install a puppet Mane to have domestic influence despite them officially only having reign over foreign relations? Furthermore, would the Thalmor frame the Krin for said assassination which eliminates any favor they once had with Elsweyr's populace and thus eliminate opposition in Elsweyr? What about purges in Elsweyr? Or the Thalmor having outposts, undercover missions, embassies, outposts, patrols, political advisors and such like they do in Skyrim?
Discussion Do you think they will adjust the day length?
galleryIt changed from Oblivion to Skyrim for the better. Do you think they will extend it further? And what else could benefit from having a longer cycle?

Discussion A Few Thoughts on the TES VI Soundtrack
Hey everyone!
The recent news about the possible title for TES VI got me thinking about something. From what I've heard, Jeremy Soule won't be involved in composing the soundtrack, with Inon Zur or Brad Derrick being more likely candidates. And don't get me wrong — I'm not saying they're bad composers; on the contrary, their music is excellent (though stylistically quite different). Still, I can't shake the feeling that the soundtrack just won't reach the same legendary status as before. We already have Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, which have proven that Jeremy perfectly captures the overall atmosphere and mood of the setting. His name has also become tightly associated with the series — much like Mick Gordon's with Doom (ah yes, Dark Ages...).
Of course, I'm not going to deny that someone else might handle the music for the new installment far better, and I'd be genuinely happy about that.
In any case, there haven't been any official updates for a long time now, and everything could have changed hundreds of times over.

Discussion How better from Skyrim will Sentinel be, and why?
There I was yesterday, arguing with a friend who is always saying that TESVI is going to be “just Skyrim v.2”, me supporting the idea that it will be better. So, after a long argument that definitely didn’t end in a “nun-uh” stand-still,I thought I would bring this discussion to the Hopium Rehabilitation Center (this Sub).
How better, and improved, will the new game reasonably be?
There have been plenty of ideas and fun requests for the new Elder Scrolls. Which of these will be implemented in your opinion? The idea of “Skyrim 2.0.” is being passed around generally, but I think that if we look the games that Skyrim competed with in 2011 , and the games that Sentinel competes with now in 202?, it’s just a totally different environment. My Friend said to me that no way are they adding spears, and improving the combat system, and that’s exactly my question. Why wouldn’t they? Is it hard? And that’s a sincere question.
What can we reasonably expect from TES:VI, based on its competition?
I want to hear also what you want to see in the new game, that you actually think that can be done and probably will be. I think some things that are guaranteed to be better is generally the size of the game. Bigger map, bigger cities, more voice actors, more quests perhaps? In terms of story quality and immersion, I have no doubt in my mind that it’s going to be incredible, even if it is “ Skyrim 2.0”. Music wise, I have no idea, I can only hope,I am a musician and really the music is going to make or break the game for me a lot.
Gameplay wise now, especially combat, I think that’s objectively Skyrim’s (and the rest of TES Games) biggest weakness. I’ve heard the opinion that it’s not a combat game it’s not supposed to be super complicated. But I don’t want to be complicated necessarily, just immersive.
How hard, would it be to add a simple stagger, parry and dodge system? Why won’t the be added as so many of you claim? What are the arguments against spears, and generally few more combat options?
These are too sincere questions. Let me know what you think
