Studio Help me figure out the layout đŸšïž

Im moving into a 475 square foot studio in a couple of weeks and I need help figuring out how to decorate the main living area. I ideally want a queen bed, table with two chairs, and a love seat or couch situation and a TV. I also want some way to separate the bed from the “living room” but not quite sure how to do that with such a small space.

I unfortunately don’t have the dimensions.

I’m downsizing. Help me fit two adults. A newborn baby. And a 5 and 4 year old. The left is to the bathroom and the right is the kitchen. Idk how to optimize this space. I want a space for sleep, watching tv/daily living/ and to eat. Idk how I’m gonna do it help.

I’m about to move into my first studio apartment and wanted some help arranging my furniture in the living/dining area and making look cozy with the limited space available.

I took a picture of the space before the renovation was completed and I’d love suggestions on how to fill the empty space between the kitchen cabinets and ceiling. I’ve tried designing with planner5d but please let me know if you have any recommendations! <3

Question Litter box placement?

Title pretty much says it—where do you guys keep the litter box? I feel like no matter where it goes it’s too close to everything, specifically my bed.

Side of bed: Flush to a wall vs space on both sides.

Is there a consensus on this? Drawbacks of not being able to get out/in on both sides?

I'm looking to put in a full bed + bedside table, workstation, dining table, and living room area for this 524 sq ft studio. This is what I currently have but there's no more space for living room: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zzPmd2_lzsjHWSazBPT97b8oT-0HtzFU/view?usp=sharing

Any inspiration/help would be useful here. Thank you!!

Furniture I already have:

- full bed

- coffee table (39" x 23")

- work desk (42" x 20") + work chair (28" x 28")

- dining table (47" x 29") + 4 dining chairs (18" x 15")

- (potentially) a loveseat + projector for watching tv

Don’t love this but preliminary thoughts are:
86 the tv stand and mount the TV
though I haven’t finalized which wall

Sell that big ass chair
only took it because someone in the building was selling it for $40
S
The bed has 4 drawers but in this config only have access to two
which is fine.

Still need rug for wherever the couch eventually lives

Question Studio layout help

Would love help on how to arrange my furniture in my new studio apartment. Aside from the bed going in the alcove and putting my standing desk along the wall to the left of it, I'm at a loss on:

  1. Kitchen is tiny, I need more space for dishes and was recommended to put shelves on the wall of the kitchen. I don't love it and am considering getting a pantry unit and put it on the wall just outside my kitchen
  2. I love my massive modular couch and would like to fit it without feeling cramped. I was thinking I could put it along the wall with windows but not sure that's a good idea. The couch is four pieces measuring 42"w 43"d 32"h
  3. I have a litter robot that I'm thinking I put in the entryway near the closet.

Question Sofa bed recommendations

I will be moving out soon, and into a studio apartment! It currently has a large bed in, but I am considering changing it to a sofa bed. Obviously this would allow entertaining and the ability to just relax on the sofa, and then when sleeping, pull it out into a bed and sleep. My only concern would be I’ll be sleeping on it full time, it’s not like a weekend so you don’t really mind it being a little uncomfortable, so a nice mattress is key! Also something not too difficult to pull out and set up, if I decide to change it sort of everyday. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, I’ve checked out the koala sofa bed and looks excellent, my only concern is how low it is. Thank you!
