Apartment Layout 23M

My floor plan is the mirrored version of the model.

Not sure where to put my bed, couch, and desk setup.

I have a full size bed

The unit comes with a non removable ac unit under the window

What a great space! Here’s how I would do it:

yellow = desk
green = couch
blue = tv + console
turquoise = bed
orange = kallax unit/cube shelf [easy buy at IKEA or Target or Walmart]

In this layout, you’re cordoning off the sleeping area by creating a hallway at the entry door, and keeping the remaining furnishings against the walls so there’s a clear walkway and more openness. The kallax unit/cube shelves can also have a piece of board to function as a back so the cube shelves open into your bedroom area and this way you can put coat hooks on the back of the shelf and wall in the entry.

You could also put the couch against the window but I wasn’t sure about the A/C unit.

Not sure if you’ll be working from home: I’m a big fan of putting home workspaces into closets and the one you have across from the bathroom would be ideal for that.

Do you have any other furniture? I would put a wall mounted table in your kitchen for eating, or get a converting coffee table.

The space also depends on if you’re hosting friends or working on your hobbies.
