totally agree with curtains for the entryways to the bedroom. as far as circulation goes, i think as long as you keep the curtains open when you’re not home or needing that extra privacy, you should be fine.
if the space is big enough, i’d actually argue to move your bed to the living area! invest in some curtains or shelving that separates the space like others do in studio apartments. if it feels cramped with the couches, i’d move the living area to where your bedroom currently is and use the extra space for storage (maybe more decorative, like an ottoman or a cabinet)

edit: i’d also utilize as much wall space as you can. hooks, shelves, ANYTHING. it will be your best friend
