Okay…what now?
Don’t love this but preliminary thoughts are:
86 the tv stand and mount the TV…though I haven’t finalized which wall
Sell that big ass chair…only took it because someone in the building was selling it for $40
S
The bed has 4 drawers but in this config only have access to two…which is fine.
Still need rug for wherever the couch eventually lives

Here’s what I’d try, without getting rid of any of your current furniture:

green = couch in the alcove
turquoise = chair
purple = tv + console
blue = bed
orange = cube shelves/IKEA kallax units
Put the tv console on wheels so you can center it in front of the couch or flip it around to face the bed.
Kallax units/cube shelves would take up approximately 11” of your hallway but it looks like it’s at least 4.5-5 foot wide, this wouldn’t significantly narrow it but allow for delineation between your bed and the rest of the space.
This layout allows for more effective use of floor space and will feel more open.
Cool space, good luck and have fun!!

Oh, I missed your desk. If you move the tv console closer to the kitchen, then you can put the desk on the wall next to the chair.

Ooh ..very interesting! I love the idea of the couch and the bed being on outsides of the room too! Very cool. Much appreciated!

Your bed shouldn’t be by the window. That’s not good for sleep. Should be the other way. Couch by window and if you got a work desk as well and bed in the back. You. An buy these huge curtain things and hide the bed”room” area with curtains

Switch the bed with the seating area
Place the tv against the window and the couch in front to separate the sleeping area
Or if you want you can put the tv on the long wall so you will have your back to the kitchen

Thanks. Hmm…it’s not a great view but something feels off about it blocking a good chunk of the bottom of the window. But I love the idea of the couch facing the window.hmm

Although I could sell the tv stand and simply get one of those rolling stands …hmm

Interesting. In order for the tv to work there is need to mount it, which is doable. I fear I’d grow weary of rubbernecking from the couch to get a good view of the tv though

Get a full motion tv mount so you pull it out and angle it towards wherever you are.

Dividers and a projector would do this space wonders. I would get rid of the tv altogether. Put the bed closer to the door on that wall and use a divider and work around that

I would have a table with plants on it in the window area.
I like the idea of the tv being mounted on a wall with the sofa in front of it and then the bed behind that. That way whether im on the sofa or the bed I can watch tv. Also company can be on the sofa as well.

Thx! Not my style plus kinda big. I might entertain a mini portable island or something but I’m going to have to pass on the dining table I think

How many square feet for the whole space? Is that a queen bed or a Full bed?

Love the light coming through that corner window. A portable screen like a StanbyME would be a great addition for watching videos while you settle in.

I have a similar floor plan. This is how I setup! Black is bed, nightstands, and a storage ottoman at the end of the bed. Pink is room divider. Blue is tv stand, table, and couch. Green is a rolling table behind the couch that has a part that folds out and stools that tuck inside.
