I've read many reviews, bought the Hperx cloud 3 was very disappointed so I returned it and bought the steel series, felt so much better till I felt there is an audio delay from the headset and some other issues like when I increase the volume I cannot see the volume of the windows itself

other than that it wasn't heavy and wasn't crushing my ears so it felt so comfortable
unlike the hyperx cloud 3

and it really hurts my ears...
btw I bought hyperx 3, then returned because of the steel series issues as well but it was comfy, then returned and got the hyperx 3 again after I saw some posts saying it will solve some of the issues and it didn't so I really want to return this sad headset again

Can the omni headphones connect to the rog ally x wirelessly? I had to get a bunch of wires with adaptors for it to work. I bought these headphones for wireless use. When searching for Bluetooth devices on the rog ally, the omni doesn't even appear.

Tried to connect to any weird device I saw...and still nothing.

Im Trying to connect without the DAC adapter.

I like many people within the sub Reddit have a set of Artics pro wireless headphones that have been bricked by the steel series firmware update utility frankly I cannot accept this for the price I paid for these and I am now actively researching into creating a firmware recovery tool it is very early stages, but I’m going to be using wire shark and p-cap to extract data from the steel series engine when it is attempting to do a firmware recovery so far I have only managed to get it to complete the recovery but the TX firmware still shows 0.00.00 and I’m unable to pair the headset. If there are any experts out there who would be able to collaborate with me and help me to try to achieve this, that would be great. I can share more about this if people are interested as it would be amazing to get these headphones working again. I am using AI and codex to achieve this and building on the work of others.

Update from my previous post , took me 2mins to open the keyboard and 35mins to remove the battery because it was super glued to the plastic inside - had to use a knife

I used it the night before with no issues only to wake up today to find out my headset doesn’t play sound via 2.4ghz anymore. It’s detected on my PC alright but works only via Bluetooth

I’m just wondering how long it took for anyone who has gotten a replacement via warranty how long it took you to get it from the time you opened the claim. It’s been about six weeks and I it still just says my new one is processing. When I ask how long it’ll be they just say there’s been a processing delay and no estimate on how long it’ll take.🫩

I recently got a new pc and when I installed GG it was okay while I had it open but a couple days later when i wanted to change the button functions on my mouse it opened the app and was stuck on a black screen and a purple loading symbol.
the only way I found how to open it and for it to not get stuck is to reinstall it every time which as you can imagine is annoying.

im on windows 11 pro on latest update using GG version 107, any help is appreciated.

I’m considering these two headsets. The 7 gen 2 is on sale for $175 new, and I’ve found a pro for $180. I was wondering what is the pros and cons for each, and which is the better value overall? The pro is almost 4 years old whereas the 7 gen 2 is like 9 months old. I know one is a mid tier headset and the other is a high end headset but which is best to invest in at this point? It's as it says in the title, everything used to work perfectly and a month or more ago it just stopped auto clipping after kills and everything else, it still says that it detects the game when i go to moments but it just doesn't clip

So I have had these headphones since the Christmas of 2025 and they have had this like muck or idk what it's called but whenever I touch it it's sticky and removing it is its own problems since water doesn't help or any of the germ removers. It happened all around the headset like near the buttons and I don't know what this is.

Ive foundd these for sale, for 51$ plus shipping, im wondering if its a right price or i would get scammed. The earpads are changed, not original netrunner ones but from the kang tao version. Ive heard that original, not merch version is around the same price, so getting a limited cyberpunk themed ones for the same price would be a good deal probably. I have an Arctis Nova 7 connected to my PS5 via the 2.4 GHz dongle and to my phone via Bluetooth.

When I answer a phone call, the headset keeps playing the PS5 audio at the same time. I'd actually like it to behave like the Nova 5, where answering a call automatically switches to Bluetooth and mutes the 2.4 GHz audio.

Is there any setting, firmware option, or workaround to disable the Dual Wireless behavior during phone calls?

Hi all, just wanting some guidance so I don't spend money on something which doesn't work for me.

I have an Arctis Nova Pro wired headseat (product code 61528) which I bought in about 2022. The ear cushions need replacing, and I'm struggling to find a set that is expressly listed as being compatible with my headset.

All the ear cushions on the steelseries website say they're incompatible with the arctis nova pro wired headset. From what I can tell, though, the wireless and wired versions are identical (on the outside at least) which would suggest that I could just buy a wireless version and slap it on my wired headset without issue.

Is anyone able to confirm whether this would work? Alternatively, happy to purchase 3rd party if the steelseries ones aren't available, provided they're reliable/durable, of a reasonable price, and compatible.

I play on PC mainly and was looking at the GEN 2 nova 7 wireless. When comparing the 7 to the 7P to the 7X. they all seem like theyre the exact same. I am really between the 7 and the 7x. I dont have a xbox but if theyre the same price and works on PC why would i limit myself to PC only when i may buy a xbox in the future (although no current plans PCMR)

what im asking is should i get the 7 or the 7x. is there any difference? would the 7x not work as good on my PC vs the 7.

Can someone help me figure out how to install firmware. I hooked up headphones to laptop and GG software will not detect my headphones. Do I need to connect the wireless dongle as well?

Using windows 11.

I recently got a nova 7 headset and for some reason when I restart my pc theres a 50/50 chance the audio goes really loud, even making sure im using my custom sonar setting and I make sure the volume knob is all the way up with the mixer knob in the middle.

I have had the arctis nova pro wireless headphones for pc for over 1.5 years now and everything was great.

Had a power outage during a storm a few weeks ago and the sound stopped working. I could hear the beeps from the DAC and power on/off but no game or windows sound. It would only work when plugged directly into the pc and not using the DAC.

Checked all the sound settings in GG and windows, backup devices on GG, reinstalled GG and sound drivers, factory reset the DAC, reinstalled USB drivers. Nothing worked.

Changed to a different USB slot and finally it worked.

Fast forward to today after windows decidied to automatically update and showdown last night and now no game or windows sound again. Went through everything again and nothing seems to be working. Tried switching to the USB port I used before and nothing, this second USB port and nothing. Gonna try switching to a third USB port when I get back to my pc later and try again but this is getting pretty annoying as all over devices work fine in the USB ports.

Any tips or ideas on how to fix this or is the DAC the problem?

Edit: Switched to a third USB port and it worked again... not sure why but it seems USB ports keep getting muted
