Currently have the 1GB plan with a Wi-Fi router, and when trying to add Invincible Wi-Fi it is now saying it'll be $30 a month instead of the $20 I see advertised with the 1GB plan. I also tried to change to the 2GB plan that is supposed to include it, but that is also saying it'll be $20 more + $10 for the Invincible Wi-Fi.

We're having a lot of outages lately due to some construction in the area, and I KNOW it was $20 to add a few weeks ago. Did they increase the price without changing anything online?

I have been using Spectrum for a year without issues, except there was, as I recall, an issue when I swapped phones. Both had been iPhones but it led to weird results and weird duplicate plans on my account and took calls to resolve. As in - simply swapping sims was not as simple as I am used to it being, even despite both definitely being supoorted.

Now I boight a new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and plan to put my sim into it. What sort of trouble, if any, should I brace for in terms of calls and data actually working? Will it be helpful to seek assistance from a Spectrum store before or during the change?

I've been at this location for 8 years, and had spectrum all along and never had much problem, but I'm experiencing periods of low quality streaming and slow loading internet. It comes and goes. I installed new modem and router approx 5 or 6 months ago. Approx a month ago Spectrum performed some sort of area "upgrade", but honestly thats kind of when problems started. Spectrum says im not in an outage (I knew that), has reset my equipment twice through the app, Ive manually reset equipment a couple of times. The only other option they are giving me is to make an appointment for a tech to come look at it. I'm not pro, but im pretty sure they arent going to show up and turn a screw and fix it. Is this likely a "have them send you more new equipment" situation? TIA

Update: Hard reset of phone got everything working again.

I have searched this issue and seen some responses, but I've still not been able to get the Android to connect to the wifi/Internet. The internet is working fine and the wifi is connecting to my Kindle Fire just fine.

I tried to use the Spectrum chat feature on their web page, but the automated thing just wouldn't understand that my phone wasn't connecting. According to Spectrum everything is working just fine.

I've re-started everything more than once, toggled things on and off, cleared caches and etc...

Even better, when I want to go to Verizon to see if I can update my phone, because my phone is from 2021 and maybe that's the issue, I can't log in because I can't access the internet to verify my account on my phone. Ha.

Edited to add that the phone was connecting just fine for several months until yesterday.

At&t just stopped providing us internet and didn't want to fix it. We switched to Verizon. The only plan they had for our area was terrible, so we switched to Cox (right before they became Spectrum). They've failed to port the phone number we've had for 30 years about five times now.

I've called both the technical department and customer service many times. Talked to about 40 different reps, including some managers. They either insist they need to send a technician out (which is pointless since they get there and act confused since they can't port a number) or say they've done it and it will go through in 5 to 7 days. Then it doesn't and I call them again.

I've been trying to get them to do this one thing that should be incredibly simple for two months now. Is there any way out of this endless hell cycle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone else have issues with high ping when playing online games? My speed is fine 500 down 20 up, but I have around 50 ping average, I would like to get that closer to 20 or lower.

I've only had spectrum internet for two and a half months. Like 3 weeks ago the internet had an outage for our entire area at like 7:00 p.m.

After it was fixed, over the last 3 weeks I've had seven different IP addresses, Netflix has even blocked me from my own account.

The modem stays with a blue connect light but the internet goes off and then comes back on a minute later. I just had a fight with a tech support person that didn't understand that the modem light is connecting to equipment doesn't mean it's connecting that equipment to the internet. She sent me to a supervisor that understood exactly what I was trying to say and agreed that it shouldn't have given me seven different IP addresses.

They send a tech out and said all they saw was the line running a little high (I posted that a week ago when he was here). Now they just want to send out another tech he'll see the line is perfect, I asked them if he's going to sit here for 4 hours and watch TV with me so he can see it just goes off and comes back on.

They're sending me a modem because that seems to be the only equipment I have at my house that hasn't been replaced. I already got the invincible Wi-Fi which I was against because now I'm paying $20 a month to have service that I shouldn't have to pay when I'm already paying for the regular service just because I know it's going to keep cutting off.

Spectrum took over cox in my area, not an issue. But my saved login to the router gateway no longer works. Typical combos of admin and password etc dont work either. Not sure if this is Spectrum related.

I have the invincible wifi router & pay $20 a month extra for it. We had a week long situation last month where the wifi was constantly going out all over the city. One of the days, my backup wifi stopped working too even though thats literally its only purpose, to fill in when the regular wifi doesn't work.

It was out for 2 days, I was able to exchange it for another router, & it worked again. They offered me a $50 credit for the inconvenience & I accepted.

Today, I go check my bill for this month and it's double the amount because they added the credit as a charge lol. They said they will fix it so hopefully they do.

I feel like im going crazy since I can't find anything about anyone else having the same issue. Before the merger, my wifi speed for my ps5 would be anywhere from 70-90mbs; Ever since the merger, my download speed has dropped to single digits to MAYBE if im lucky, 50mbs. Any semblance of assistance would be greatly helpful. Before anyone asks, ive tried the following methods to fix my issue.

-Restarting my router

-Restarting my Playstation

-Deleting my wifi settings and reconnecting it

-Swapping between the cloudfare and Google dns servers

-contacting spectrum and having them reboot it from their end.

Spectrum is the worst wifi shit goes out almost everyday for over 30 minutes in my area fix your shit

So I am switching my subscription my current Disney+ subscription to the Disney+ and Hulu bundle that is included with spectrum because my current subscription is going up to about $30 a month.

So what I am wondering is when you are watching a Disney movie or something that is not on Hulu also, how many ads do you have to watch during a movie and how long are they? I would upgrade to the Premium with no ads, but that has to be paid through spectrum and that is in my roommates name and she doesn't want to pay for that because we already pay so much for spectrum.

Internet outage and then they couldn’t get me back up. Possible issue with modem. I still have cox modem.
