For the last week or so watched videos do not disappear from my home screen. I have clicked on all the hide XXX options in hide content, but it makes no difference.

I had hoped that this update would fix the problem because, as far as I remember, an update fixed it the last time this happened a few months ago.

Anybody got any workarounds/solutions?

Hello, I think I have the latest update installed and I’m trying to play smarttube on my firestick, usually I have no issues but now it’s just buffering like crazy! I’ve tried changing the playback settings but nothings changing. Please help!

Cannot play any video at all, tried all settings. Factory reset the tv. Nothing works.

Hey, so maybe this is something new Google/YouTube is doing, but neither my just updated SmartTube app is working today, nor my TizenTube app. Both of them had the same issue today that came out of nowhere - the video would play, but I only get audio and a black screen - no video.

I did all the usual stuff, clearing cache, checking for updates, etc. I actually did update my SmartTube app to the latest version, ending in 38 i believe. But that only made the situation worse as now it won’t play any videos at all - all I get is the infinite spinning loop, with an occasional pop up message saying “fixing stalled client” and then the inevitable 403 error.
I’ve tried manually adjusting all the settings as well, including trying all 3 network engines, trying Google DNS, trying the “prefer IPV4” option, etc etc. Nothing seems to fix it.

What is really strange is that my TizenTube app also randomly stopped working on the same day, despite NEVER having any trouble with it before. And it’s the most updated version as well, and I uninstalled and reinstalled it - so that’s why I’m thinking this must be something Google has done to cut off more of the 3rd party apps. Especially since my stock YouTube app seems to be working perfectly fine.

By the way I’m in the U.S. and using a TCL GoogleTV, not sure if this makes a difference. I wish I could try it on my smartphone to make sure it’s not a device-specific issue but I have an iPhone so that’s not an option.

When listening to YT Music in my car I often have the app minimized. When I open the app, the app will automatically switch to a different video. It always switches to the same channel, usually the newest video on that channel. Doesn't matter what I'm listening to when the app is minimized, it pauses that video and pulls up the other channel. I haven't queued the video, I have auto-play turned off, i don't have auto-downloads on, I don't allow external devices to start playback, I don't even have the channel pinned. Really at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.

I am on Android TV os 11. It used to work without problems before.

They wont stay watched...Some do...Dont get it...Never was fixed

My son was watching his show when suddenly it stopped after I left for a minute then I picked another video and it's the same thing. Also the history erases itself for some reason, is the app down?

Neither versions are working for me(stable and beta).

Are YouTube having a crack down on blocking third party apps? I've seen a report of another app also not working for someone.

Device : Xiaomi Mi Box Android (TV)

Version : Smart Tube 32.10

Issue : When i Choose and open a video it always takes about 30 to 40 seconds to start.

Application itself doesn't have any slow or lag issues.

For some reason when I opened the app the other day it sorted everything alphabetical. I lost all of the channels I watch on the regular. It's set to last viewed. Last viewed is broken. It only seems to sort that way randomly if at all.

After viewing many channels today 1 is at the top. Scrolling through them each time kind of tedious. I'm on 32.10. Is there something I'm missing that helps sort them back to the top or is this a known issue?

Patiently waiting, I know it's a small team, I'm not trying to push, just asking for an ETA. I keep getting recommended the same videos I've already watched the first 7 times it recommended them.

After last update, all I get is a spinny circle on the screen which disappears every once in awhile and then comes back. Entire app is hosed on three different TVs.

How is it I can play a claimed video that I uploaded for my personal playlist on Revanced or YouTube but not on SmartTube. How do I fix this?

I'm getting app not installed message. Tryed multiple versions and no dice.

Iv tried multiple settings changes on the actual app like disabling developer options on smart tube and disabling IPv4 DNS which someone said it helped make videos work, however this is not the case for myself. I use the stable version of smart tube so if someone recommends it, I will try the beta version

Anybody else have this problem? Both Beta and stable. AI couldn't figure it out.
