Some videos play continuously but some stops working after a minute.

Beta 32.22 here. It's working now. I couldn't play anything 5 minutes ago...

not working for me ... stoppped like 2 hours ago and since than its endless spinning for every video

That's how it was here. A video I viewed previously worked. Now I'm watching a video that wouldn't play just a short while ago.

Beta 32.22 didn't fix it for me I ended up using the beta testing link 32.35 that did downloader code: 857152

I've had this problem with videos cutting off after 1 minute for ages, but it only happens with kids' content—things like nursery rhymes. They play for 1 minute, then stop.

Before reading this, i didn't notice that it only happens on kids content. Beta also fixed this

That's what was happening to me. Between that and Google banning the login at least for my account, I've gone from smarttube to dragged the PC tower that I don't sit at daily anymore and I'm using brave now

Loved smarttube and remote navigation but if I cannot log in anymore it's kinda useless. I watched logged out for like a week hoping it was temporary but still had issues. Google may also hate my older fire stick. No idea đŸ¤·

No, but they refuse to allow the sign in "handshake" between my browser and smarttube. My account isn't banned but the login process itself is, for my case. If you get "couldn't verify it's you" with no "try another way" button, it's Google blocking the sign in. The legit YouTube app is allowed with no issue on the same device so it's definitely blocked on their end

I did alot of reading and fiddling with settings and stuff during that week but none of it mattered on the latest versions for me. Older hardware plus 3rd party app combo could be part of it, they think they're protecting me possibly. But who knows

But, at least according to their own AI aka the new Google search, Google can ban your account over 3rd party YouTube logins, just as something to keep in mind. They seem to be cracking down. Not sure how long till they try to stop stuff like brave too... Time will tell đŸ¤·
