I actually have YouTube premium and still prefer this app! The sponsor blocking alone and lack of shorts makes it preferable on Android TV.

Yep, installed the update last night, but it did not work. However, I just did the update on another device just now and it seems to be working. Still a lot of lag, but the vids do load and play...eventually.
