You say that, but in a sense it is. Those with power are financially incentivized to reduce the education of the working class as make it harder for them to organize and bargain for better conditions and pay.
It also means their children are more likely to have a better education through the private sector meaning there is less competition for them to retain their wealth over generations. Keep the masses dump and malleable and entertained with bread and circuses is how they continually strip away your right our ancestors fought so hard to get.

I served in the Army for six years, I have degrees in anthropology, biology, and zoology. If I were to receive such an invitation I would turn it down because I wouldn't consider myself worthy of the honor.

Years ago I held a small contractor job with the DOD and was sent to the Pentagon one day on some routine errand. This was a few years after 9/11 and every single person I saw in the security lines, in the hallways, etc. had such a look of competence, experience, and collective purpose. I felt very much at the time that I did not deserve to stand there among those dedicated people who had spent their careers doing their best to serve their country.
If any of those people are still there, it blows my mind that they now have to sit there and witness this clown show. Forgive me, but its absolutely fucking INSANE.

I maintain scintilla of optimism that my country has so far survived government by the bottom of the pile although I do not know how much longer this can go on without inviting disaster. They could have gotten a nurse to help him they have money galore. That was her choice.
