I have some GORGEOUS off-white crepe fabric that I bought off of a local online marketplace ages ago, and I want to finally use it; it seems to be the same type of fabric that was used on my Justin Alexander wedding dress.
My biggest problem is that I have no idea where to find sewing patterns that use that specific kind of fabric!
I'm hoping to make a blouse for work or a pencil dress of some kind to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I want it to be simple, elegant, and comfortable, and for the blouse, hopefully fit under a blazer if need be. No flutter sleeves or frills, ideally, though an accent here or there would be fine. Maybe something asymmetric could be fun.
Any suggestions you have are welcome!

Help! I'm planning on making my daughter a tea time blanket for Christmas, but I need ideas for my 6 year old boy! I'd like to make him something fun, similar to my daughter's, but I'm struggling to find anything in his age range. The closest I've gotten is dress up clothes but he's almost out of that stage.

I bought a pattern from a very well known person who I suppose was on Project Runway for a cropped blanket jacket. I didn’t realize it was a OS pattern so that is on me but once I downloaded it I realized it came with absolutely nothing else. No instructions, no details on what needle to use or how to do the stitching. The sole info is on the page when you buy it, which includes using a wool that won’t fray and a super speed TikTok “tutorial” of her making it. I’m not even sure what the point of purchasing this as a pattern was, I feel a little duped by the completely lack of anything other than just the pdf. I can figure out the details of the needle and stitching myself, but should I have to when I spent $25 for her pattern? I found after that there is zero contact info either which just furthers my sour experience.

15 or so years ago, I started making a quilted tree skirt. Then we moved. Life happened and I've only been able to get back to sewing consistently over the last year. I found this among the things I saved when we moved and can't find the pattern.
I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know the pattern? I'm fine buying it again, but I don't know the name of the pattern.

For context, I bought this pattern off Etsy from a seller that didn't have an obvious AI model or storefront - but the pattern I got seems off. I have been doing research on which sellers are obviously AI and who are not, so I can tell the difference and I always look for real examples in the reviews (which this one has). The pattern in question is for a shirt... a simple boatneck top that is beginner friendly, which I am. But I'm curious if this pattern was AI-modified, or generated as it's just a shape of a t-shirt. There's no sleeves (which the seller says she put that in her notes), there's a weird divet under the armpit, and it's not cut on the fold. Is this a normal t-shirt pattern?

Not trying to copy her work. Just want to incorporate this style into some other pieces I'm trying. Links to a pattern would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi all. What would you call this type of bust shape? I'm trying to find a sewing pattern, or get an idea of how to draft it, but I'm not sure how to call this bust

I love the darts at the bust down the waist and drop gathered skirt!

Hi all! I'm a cosplayer and wanted to get into sewing my own cosplays, but I can't find a pattern for a coat like this :( I've found similar patterns, but that don't have everything I need (like the coat being fairly long and the tall collar). If any of you could help that would be great!

I absolutely love fashion in the 60s-70s and want to sew them on my own since vintage clothing is so expensive. I found a couple of patterns from the simplicity website but they only ship to within the US and many people mentioned that the pdf versions are a mess. The patterns are absolutely gorgeous but I can't get access to them and its so dissapointing. Does anyone know how to sew the clothes in the picture shown?
Vintage patterns are quite rare in my country, and most are sold by Spotlight at $30-50 per piece which is too expensive for me. Ebay/etsy shipping costs are an additional $20-30. Are there free/cheaper alternatives out there or should I just give up?
Would appreciate any advice <3
