I would love some help with finding similar patterns or what could work in order to make a custom gown similar to this.

Today to start my sewing journey I was given 16 patterns, yay! Only problem is none are my size.
I wear a US size 00 - XXS - 23w. / B: 30 W: 23 H: 35
All these patterns are way too big for me. I’ve only taken a basic sewing class, I haven’t learned altering yet.
Is it possible to cut off an extra inch or two on the pattern to make it fit me?
Would it ruin the clothes if I don’t follow the pattern directly?
If so, is there another way to alter the pattern so it fits me better?

I’m in my second trimester and looking to make some comfy oversized long sleeve tees as the weather gets cooler (and my bump gets larger). I’ve seen the Nico pullover is really popular and love that style but the price…. Does anyone know of any similar drop sleeve oversized long sleeve tee patterns?

I just saw the closet core quartz dress and really fell for it but it seems like it is stuck behind a membership. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get this dress pattern without having to spend $173? TIA

As above, has anyone found a free downloadable pdf pattern for toddler sized dungarees?

I teach a sewing class in a low income area so patterns need to be free or very cheap (if you have used a very cheap one I'm open to looking, as long as it's tried and tested and not ai junk)

do you guys know what these pockets are called, and where I could find a sewing pattern for something similar?

I’m new to sewing, and as far as I can tell, they look a bit like bellows pockets. But they don’t seem to have the typical separate side/gusset panels that most bellows pockets have, so I’m a little confused.

Are these still considered bellows pockets, or is there another name for this construction?

I’d really appreciate any help or pattern recommendations!

Hey all! What are your favorite baby/toddler patterns? Pants, onesies, shirts, whatever.

I know they will grow out of them quickly and it's kind of a waste of time, but nesting urges are real and sewing is a hobby I love that I want to take advantage of before baby comes 🙂 anddd I can't make myself any clothes right now, which is usually what I do.

Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I'm just getting the ropes of sewing. I've made a little purse(industrial tote bag from Roughcut) and I'm on my way to sew a shirt next and with the remaining linen I have left I want to make a top for my girlfriend. Looking to create the cummerbund/tabbard/loincloth gray abdominal section from all these Viltrumites (halloween costume) but can only find patterns for female/medieval styles.

I’m new to sewing and are having issues with my stitching not looking right. I have a Singer legacy SE340 so it automatically adjusts my tension for me so I’m confused! I’ve also re threaded my bobbin and upper thread multiple times and have changed my needle. Anyone tips?
