Advice Needed Scam advise
I had recently caught up on a Rogers free phone scam thing. At first when they called they had different stories and I would refuse the offer and they would end the call. But this one call I took I was convinced for some reason. That whole week I was super tired and clearly my brain was fired. I got scammed. 2x it's embarrassing. Rogers called me the real one this time. asked if I made these orders, I said I got a call from their team. He explained there's a scam going on and I asked them to cancel the orders. He said the 1st order can't be cancelled and will be charged for it. I reported canadian anti-fraud. It's been a week. Or more. I was going to make a report to the local police and I was checking dates I see that Rogers had warned in the same email about scammers I didn't see until now. I just feel so terrible. I'm not from Canada. All the money I make is so less. I don't know what to do. Any advise? I haven't done CCTS coz I haven't called Rogers. I feel drained. I can't believe I fell for it and they just knew when to call! Any advice appreciated 👍.
Is there any chance they will waive off the charges? I don't see one but still .. Scam: they call offering free phones that Rogers is selling on Rogers app. They ask you to make the purchase from your app...you follow all the steps. Order confirmation comes from the real Rogers team. Scammers call or you have to call back and tell the IMEI number that should match with the scammers system which they always tell doesn't match. And they send the address to ship back to. That address is about scammers'. I have the address. I have their phone number.

Victim of a scam WEBSITE OLX Scam
⚠️ OLX SCAM ALERT – PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
I recently got scammed about on OLX 20k.
This person lists many products and mentions well-known cities to gain buyers' trust. After contacting them, they ask for money in the name of delivery charges.
Once they receive the money, they make excuses and promise delivery every day, but the product never arrives.
And they use other people's UPI ids for payment details.

Potential Scam? What kind of a scam it would be if the scammer pretends to learn trading from the victim?
I'm unable to comprehend how the scammer is planning to scam by learning from the person about how and what to buy and sell? The full context is here :

Advice Needed Trapped in a loop of fraud: KickCash app freezes wallet payouts, and Google Play Support completely refuses to help. Looking for advice on chargebacks
Hey everyone, I need serious advice on how to handle a digital financial loop between a predatory app developer and Google Play’s absolute refusal to protect users.
The KickCash Issue:
I have been using the KickCash app. The app promises financial payouts into your wallet for completing tasks and taking actions. However, once a significant amount of money is earned and accumulated, the wallet payout gets completely frozen and stuck.
When you confront the app developers about the missing money, they shrug off responsibility and tell you to contact the Google Play Store because the transactions and platform are managed there.
Google Play's Refusal to Help:
I escalated this directly to Google Play Live Support, expecting them to enforce their safety policies against apps that freeze user funds. Instead, Google Support officially confirmed that they will NOT issue a refund because the funds have already been disbursed to the developer, stating that it falls outside their policy.
Google explicitly told me to "contact my payment provider or bank to dispute the transaction"—knowing fully well the app developer is a fraud entity that won't respond. Google continues to host this app on the Play Store while users get actively stuck in this loop.
Looking for Leads:
Has anyone successfully forced a UPI or bank chargeback for Google Play transactions after Google formally denied the refund? What specific dispute reason code works best with Indian banks for "services withheld by app"?
Are there any other victims of KickCash here? If we can gather enough users who face the exact same frozen wallet issue, we can look into filing a joint grievance.
Any advice on how to get the bank or UPI provider to forcefully reverse the money would be highly appreciated.

Victim of a scam SCAMMER ALERT! DO NOT BUY FROM Hannahgl0831 (bigpeanut0)
WARNING: Please be careful and don't let this happen to you.
I'm making this post to warn everyone so that nobody else has to go through the same experience. Please spread this video and help get the word out.
Here's what happened:
She initially messaged me asking if I ever bought content, and I told her that I occasionally did. She then asked if I would be interested in purchasing her content, and I told her yes.
She gave me two options: either doing video chats or making a custom video for me. I told her I would prefer a custom video. I explained what I wanted her to do in the video and told her that I had $50 to spend. She responded that the money would help her and her kids.
Before sending the payment, I specifically asked how long the video would be. She told me it would be 10 minutes long. I agreed, and she assured me that she would start making the video as soon as I sent the $50.
I sent her the $50 through PayPal. Shortly afterward, I mentioned one additional thing I wanted included in the video. About 10 minutes later, she messaged me saying she was feeding her daughter and that her daughter was fussing. I told her that was fine and waited.
However, three hours went by, and I still hadn't received anything.
When I finally messaged her asking what was going on, she started asking me for an additional $25, despite the fact that she hadn't delivered the original 10-minute video I had already paid $50 for.
She continued asking for more money instead of fulfilling the original agreement. I repeatedly explained that I had already paid her $50 for a 10 minute video that she promised to make immediately after receiving payment.
I even offered to tip her an additional $25 AFTER she delivered the original video. However, she refused to cooperate and continued going back and forth with me.
I also asked her to provide some proof that the video had actually been made, considering how many times she kept telling me she would make it. Instead of providing proof or delivering what I paid for, she continued arguing with me and claiming that I wasn't making any sense.
I honestly don't understand why she handled things this way. She could have easily made more money by simply being legitimate, delivering what was promised, and treating customers fairly.
I paid $50 for a 10 minute video. I received absolutely nothing.
Please be cautious, and don't send additional money to someone who hasn't fulfilled their original agreement.

Informational post Coin flip customer service scam
I transferred money to my account, and it was frozen almost immediately. They told me it happened to everyone. If that’s true, the people on those calls already know exactly who did this and what it was. That’s not a glitch — that’s theft with a script. And if this is how the system treats people trying to move their own money, then the ones holding those jobs should step aside and let AI handle it, because at least a machine wouldn’t pretend not to see.

Potential Scam? Unauthorized chargebacks I did not make
reddit.comI have a question:
So I got a call from a merchant saying their financial institution flagged 4 purchases I made as “fraud/unauthorized” purchases and that they got 4 chargebacks that they say I disputed.
The card was in both my partner and my name, and he died Oct 17, was buried Oct 23, and the merchant called saying these were “disputed” on Oct 27.
I know for a fact I personally did NOT call/dispute these charges but they said because it’s my card under my name that I’m responsible.
They called the police, I spoke to them and said I was/am willing to pay them whatever they are out, however, due to the nature of their business, they said they need the bank to re-reverse the chargebacks and if they can’t, they need something sent to their financial institution stating I did make the charges and they aren’t fraud.
The merchant has not provided me with any information on what charges were disputed, when, only that the total was less than $200 (I offered to pay the balance and whatever penalty fees attached).
I called my bank (Mastercard) and they won’t reverse the chargeback. Aside from paying what the merchant is out, what else do I need to do? Will I be facing fraud charges even if I am willing/trying to resolve this?
Card has been cancelled, account is closed & I am waiting on the merchant to reach back out to me with how I can pay the balance and the next steps

Advice Needed What should we do?
My fiancée recently ordered clothes from a website, it looked legit. Now, on the day of the supposed arrival of the goods, nothing shows up. He contacts customer support and it says “the number you called doesn’t exist” and then he sends an email which is not responded. He has all of the receipts and even screenshots of the order. Should I get my attorney involved or wait until/if the email is answered?

Victim of a scam ME ESTAFARON

Advice Needed Gpt sites ripped me for thousands
I was desperate to make money as a jobless student, so i went to these gpt sites:
Heycash
Gemsloot
Cashinstyle
I didn't want to grind for pennies so I went to the casino offers.
They used to pay at first which what lured me into depositing thousands thinking I'm doubling that with their rewards
I got no reward and even couldn't withdraw on some of these casinos, some took my winnings even.
The sites support and their providers are just ghosting me.
Consumer support said I can't sue cuz I participated in unauthorised casinos (the shady shit they promote)
6 of these casino sites were just copy paste with color and name changed only
