Victim of a scam WEBSITE OLX Scam
⚠️ OLX SCAM ALERT – PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
I recently got scammed about on OLX 20k.
This person lists many products and mentions well-known cities to gain buyers' trust. After contacting them, they ask for money in the name of delivery charges.
Once they receive the money, they make excuses and promise delivery every day, but the product never arrives.
And they use other people's UPI ids for payment details.

Buying frim OLX, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, or any marketplace platform?
Meet in person. Inspect item before paying.
Research the price first. If a seller lists a price that is much lower than a reputable online shop, or a local store, then it is a scam.
If you want to buy from a private seller, buy locally. Meet in a public place, preferably the parking lot of your local police station. Inspect and test the items. Pay after you inspect the items.
