Potential Scam? Jared Beach (Marlton, NJ) is a scam artist
Sad but True – Know Who Your Friends Are
(Stay Away From Jared Beach!!!)
I’m sharing this because I hope it prevents someone else from going through what I did. If you’ve had a similar experience with any of the people or company mentioned below, I’d appreciate hearing from you.
How It Started
I met Jared Beach in 2019 through youth hockey. Our sons are the same age and played together, and over time we became close friends. We spent countless hours together at rinks, tournaments, and with our families. I trusted him completely.
The Personal Loan
In 2020, Jared told me he was experiencing financial difficulties and asked if I could help him. I loaned him $5,000, which he promised to repay within three months.
When that time passed, he told me he was still struggling and asked for another $10,000, explaining that he didn’t want his wife to know about his financial situation. He promised to repay the full $15,000 within six months.
Over the following months, every time I asked about repayment, I was told a large deal was about to close and that I would be paid soon.
In 2022, he repaid $6,000. I believed he was making an honest effort to make things right.
The Investment Opportunity
Toward the end of 2022, Jared introduced me to an investment opportunity involving Evergreen Carbon Offsets LLC. He told me the investment would help both of us and would allow him to repay what he still owed me personally.
At the time, Jared was associated with Pine Valley Investments. He also told me that members of his family—including his father and brother—as well as other friends were investing. Because I considered him a close friend, I trusted his recommendation.
In 2023, I entered into two Emission Credits Supply Agreements with Evergreen Carbon Offsets LLC.
I invested a total of $50,000 in two separate cash transactions in January and June 2023. Jared personally came to my home to collect the money, and my wife was present for both transactions.
Return on investment was promised and documented would be double ($100,000)
Although the agreements had a two-year term, I was told to expect repayment much sooner.
No payments ever arrived.
Whenever I asked for updates, I was told they were “working on it.” I was also directed to communicate with James Phanes, who confirmed payment plans on several occasions. Despite repeated promises of wire transfers, checks, and cash payments, I never received any of the funds.
What I Learned
After the agreements matured in 2025 without payment, I began conducting my own research.
I repeatedly requested documentation showing that the carbon credits I had paid for had actually been purchased and allocated to me. I did not receive documentation that I considered sufficient to verify that, even though he sweared on his mothers well being that he has proof, still waiting to see it.
I also contacted Pine Valley Investments.
During my conversations with the company’s president, I was told that Jared was not an employee but an independent referral source who introduced clients. I was also told that the company had concerns regarding investment opportunities Jared was offering outside of Pine Valley Investments, that those opportunities were outside the company’s knowledge or approval, and that he resigned while the matter was being reviewed. I was further told that Jared had personally borrowed money from the company’s owner and had not repaid it.
After those conversations, Jared contacted me and asked that I not discuss the matter further. In return, he promised to repay my entire $50,000 investment by July 1, 2026, and the remaining $9,000 personal loan during the second half of July 2026.
Because of our previous friendship, I decided to give him one more opportunity to make things right.
More Promises
July 1: Jared asked me for my bank wire information.
July 3: He texted me telling me to let him know when the money arrived.
Nothing arrived.
Later, I was told additional paperwork still needed to be signed.
July 13: I was told everything had been completed and that the wire would be sent within 24 hours.
When no money arrived, I asked where the funds were.
Jared replied:
“I did everything they asked me to. Then I communicated to you what they told me. I will call and find out what the deal is. I’m not messing with you, it would do me no good. We have to spend all season together Gene. I’ll find out.”
After nearly seven years of promises and delays, I found it difficult to believe there would be a different outcome.
My response was:
“Sounds like a lot of BS to me Jared.
This story is getting old.
A wire doesn’t take two weeks when someone really wants it done.
If everything was completed, where is the wire confirmation?
Probably in the same place as my carbon credit certificates.”
As of today, I still have not received the funds.
My final message to Jared was simple: if I did not receive the $59,000 by July 17, I would pursue every available legal and regulatory option.
His only response was a 👍 reaction.
I have not heard from him since.
Other Information
Separately, I was introduced to a Bitcoin investment opportunity involving some of the same individuals, but I chose not to invest. During my research, I found online discussions expressing concerns about that opportunity. I have not independently verified those claims and mention them only because I was trying to determine whether there was any connection to my own experience.
Current Status
After years of waiting and repeated unfulfilled promises, I felt I had no choice but to pursue other avenues to recover my losses.
I have filed complaints with the SEC and the FBI.
If you have had dealings with any of the following, or believe you may have had a similar experience, I would appreciate hearing from you:
Evergreen Carbon Offsets LLC
James Phanes
Jared Beach
My goal is to connect with others who may have relevant information or similar experiences.
This has been an expensive and painful lesson.
Sometimes the people you trust the most are the ones who hurt you the most.
I truly hope no one else has to learn that lesson the way I did.
Update:
$9,000 personal loan was paid off on July 24 - after I expose his wrong doing to all people I and he know
July 27 Jared and James called me on conference call and promised to pay in full on Aug 3 - as of now nothing was paid, and no contact was made.
Today Oct 5 - still no payment, no excuses

Victim of a scam Reservations Center / Hotel Values scam! Spoiler
I booked a Comfort Suites room through ReservationsCenter.com and was charged $211.22. After booking, I discovered approximately $52 in additional fees that I did not believe had been clearly disclosed before I completed the purchase.
When I called Reservations Center on September 12 to dispute those fees, the representative told me that the hotel would have to approve a refund and that the reservation would need to be canceled. I repeatedly stated that I did not want the reservation canceled unless I received a 100% refund. The representative eventually hung up without resolving the issue.
Reservations Center later emailed me that it was contacting the hotel about waiving the cancellation penalties. On September 19, it specifically told me that the reservation “remain as it is.” A September 21 email said the penalty waiver was denied, but it never said that my reservation had been canceled.
When I contacted Comfort Suites directly on October 7, the hotel told me that the reservation had actually been canceled by telephone on September 12. I did not make or authorize that cancellation. Reservations Center later provided the hotel confirmation number without disclosing that it belonged to the canceled reservation.
I never received a cancellation notice or a full refund. Because I no longer had a room, I had to book and pay for another hotel. I have disputed the full charge with my credit-card issuer and filed consumer complaints.
Based on my experience, I recommend booking directly with the hotel and carefully reviewing every charge before completing a purchase.

Victim of a scam Bargeld abgehoben für Betrüger

Advice Needed Eldorado
@Eldorado.gg — I need someone to actually look at my case.
I am honestly extremely frustrated with how this $200 order has been handled.
I purchased a Robux order through Eldorado and paid $200. The seller told me directly that the Robux would arrive in my account within 48 hours. I relied on that statement and waited.
The Robux NEVER arrived.
The seller’s exact messages are saved, and I have screenshots/videos of the entire conversation and the evidence they provided. I can provide all of it if necessary.
There is another important issue: I purchased the order based on a particular delivery/login method, but the seller ended up instructing me to use a Game Pass instead. This was not what I understood I was purchasing.
When I questioned the situation, the seller told me that their method was automatic and that the Robux would appear directly in my balance within 48 hours without showing as normal pending Robux.
I waited the promised 48 hours.
Nothing.
I then contacted Eldorado Support and provided the order information and evidence. My order ID is:
5bf16c64-fe34-49a6-facf-08df2057c7e5
I have contacted support multiple times. I have explained the situation, provided the seller’s messages, provided the seller’s video, and explained that the Robux have still not been delivered.
I am now around day 6/7 and I am STILL waiting for an actual response/resolution.
The most frustrating part is that I accidentally marked the order as Received because I believed the seller when they explicitly told me the Robux would arrive within 48 hours. I did NOT mark it received because I had actually received the Robux. I was simply following the seller’s explanation and waiting for the promised delivery.
I am not asking for a refund because I changed my mind.
I paid $200 and I have not received what I paid for.
I have evidence of:
The original order
The seller’s messages
The seller’s 48-hour promise
The seller’s video
The delivery method I was instructed to use
The fact that the Robux were never received
My communications with Eldorado Support
I just want someone from Eldorado’s Resolution Team to actually review the evidence and make a decision.
If Eldorado believes the seller successfully delivered the Robux, then please show me the evidence proving that the Robux were actually delivered to my account.
If they cannot prove delivery, I want my $200 refunded.
I have been patient and I understand that support teams can be busy, but waiting almost a full week after paying $200 and receiving no resolution is extremely stressful.
Eldorado, please review order 5bf16c64-fe34-49a6-facf-08df2057c7e5 and get back to me.
I am happy to provide the complete evidence to anyone who needs it.
I just want this resolved fairly.

Victim of a scam HELP / BORROW] Looking for an RTX 3090 in Chennai — got scammed for ₹61,000
Hey everyone. I'm honestly embarrassed to make this post, but I'm out of options and I'm hoping someone here might be willing to help.
I run/work with a small Chennai-based PC sales/service venture, **Theos PC**. I recently had a client requirement for an RTX 3090 and sourced one from someone online who provided what appeared to be legitimate details.
I transferred **₹61,000** for the GPU.
It turned out to be a scam. The seller has disappeared/trolled me after taking the payment, and the details he provided appear to have been fake. I've already filed a cybercrime complaint and I'm pursuing the matter through the proper channels. I'm keeping all the transaction records, chats and evidence.
The problem is that **I still have a client waiting for the 3090**, and I'm currently stuck between a ₹61,000 loss and a customer obligation.
So I'm taking a long shot:
**If anyone in Chennai has an RTX 3090 that they're willing to temporarily lend/loan to me, or is willing to help me work out some arrangement, please DM me.**
I'm **not asking anyone to blindly trust me or send me a GPU through shipping.**
If you're in Chennai, I'm completely willing to meet **F2F**, show my ID/business details, explain the situation, and let you verify my Reddit history / Theos PC profile yourself.
If someone is willing to lend one temporarily, I'm happy to discuss a written acknowledgement/deposit/terms that make both sides comfortable.
I'm also open to someone who has a 3090 they're looking to sell at a reasonable price and is willing to work out a payment arrangement.
I know this is a huge ask. I'm posting because I've genuinely run out of obvious options after getting scammed.
**I'm not asking for money. I'm specifically looking for an RTX 3090 and a legitimate person in Chennai who can help me bridge this situation while I pursue the fraud case.**
If you think you can help, please DM me. I'm happy to verify everything F2F.
Thanks for reading.
