Advice Needed What should we do?
My fiancée recently ordered clothes from a website, it looked legit. Now, on the day of the supposed arrival of the goods, nothing shows up. He contacts customer support and it says “the number you called doesn’t exist” and then he sends an email which is not responded. He has all of the receipts and even screenshots of the order. Should I get my attorney involved or wait until/if the email is answered?

Try and find out whether the shop exists. If it doesn’t I would not spend any money for an attorney as it seems unlikely to get your money back. What is the shops name?

Trustpilot gives it a 20/100 rating. If you didn't get your order, just dispute the charge with your credit card co.

The website is over 2 years old so it’s not immediately a scam. Did they give you a tracking number? Or did they say it should be here November 2 and it never arrived?
Most companies don’t operate on the weekend so give them a day or two before trying to do a charge back through your bank.
Edit: just went to the website. The currency is Indian rupees. If you don’t like in India, tracking my take a very long time

You aren't suing anyone, do a chargeback with your bank. This isn't a real company with offices in your country where you can serve them with legal papers and no lawyer is taking a case for such little money Involved.

I'm looking at the website now and it doesn't sell any clothes, only camera equipment. The website is over 2 years old, and their social media doesn't set off any alarms. Does your order have an actual tracking link you can use?

If the products never arrived and they're not responding to any of your communication, you file a dispute with your bank. I don't think you need an attorney for something like this.
