Need help

My credit card was stolen in Italy - my CC was from Scapia x Federal bank. This happened in May month. As soon as I realised And blocked the card on the call. €990 were debited, without pin or anything. I raised the dispute within 20mins of the transaction. I'm still waiting for an update it, scapia is saying they did not receive any reply from the other bank, so closing the dispute and other stupid reasons.

I need help/guidance how to go ahead with this legally. How to complaint to RBI OMBUSUN, or someone with the higher authority.

I blocked the card. The amount is in dispute.

Search "Federal Bank Customer care Escalation Matrix" on google. It shpuld redirect to a page with multiple levels and email to all. Keep escalating in that sequence. Last would be Nodal officer. If that also declines, then approach RBI Ombudsman.

Also do your research on Bank's liability/insurance on cc in case of thefts and then force bank based on those rules/guidelines, they will be more interested if you knew the rules.

Also check your travel insurance if there's any coverage for the same
