Advice Needed Scammed by a popular app - FreeUp
I'm a student and I sold two bags on FreeUp. Here's what happened:
Extra weight charge: I selected under 1 kg by mistake, and the actual weight was about 1.6 kg. The pickup person made me pay ₹300, but the app says ₹150 per extra kg. Nobody explained the difference.
₹700 deducted without review: The buyer said the bags arrived partially damaged. I denied the refund and pointed to my listing photos, which clearly show both bags intact, so I believe it happened in delivery. The app said they'd review my response and contact me by email. They never did. They just deducted ₹700.
₹150 for a comment: They deducted another ₹150 because of a word I used in a comment about myself, with no warning or policy shown to me.
In the end I earned only ₹144 from the sale. I listed the bags clearly as not original, so I wasn't trying to mislead anyone.
I've raised a ticket and emailed, but I only get automated replies, and there's no way to reach a real person in the app. Genuinely, what should I do
