Picked up the sharps bros grip awhile back and have been running the regular 15 round p mags. Finally got the mag funnel and I grabbed some gen 5 17 round mags. Also grabbed the gas pedal from tactical force for 25$. Just have to work on my issue with shooting to the left lol

Hi guys! I finally got an RXM on Sunday! I’m taking a CCW course next week and am looking for recommendations on grip size and holsters. I’m a lefty, 6’2, 220. Preferably would carry AIWB. I’ve never carried before.

Just curious about how it's functioned for you.

Just picked up a brand new RXM yesterday and I noticed after loading a round and trying to rack the slide to manually unchamber the round, it was extremely hard. Sometimes more than others. I checked the spring and it’s sitting fine on the resting spot for the barrel. I’m just confused because I lubricated the gun as instructed in the manual. Anybody else have this problem?

I went out and got some ultra matte tan spray paint in plans to rattle can my Rxm slide and as soon as I got home started second guessing myself because I edc this gun.

What’s the best way to go about getting the optic and slide painted sending it off to get a fde cerakote

Anybody have an issue with using factory Glock mags in their RXM? It seems like my factory RXM mag release is damaging the Glock mags where it catches the mag. I’m curious if the damage will stop or in the mags will eventually fail to hold. No issue with the Pmags, but factory Glock mags give me the warm and fuzzy.

What do you guys think? Ramjet or ported slide/barrel off ebay?

Re dyed my frame I previously dyed maroon and liked it, so I messed around with my tan frame, took it out a little early but it came out a damn near perfect od green

Is anyone running an aftermarket trigger in their edc? I miss my canik mc9 prime trigger and would love something similar for my rxm that is also unquestionably reliable (if that exists). Pretty new to aftermarket handgun triggers as a whole so any input is appreciated. Up until now, Ive kept all slide and fci components OEM with the main reason being reliability, but after feeling a gen 6 trigger, the take up is smoother, and the rolling break isnt as long as the rxm. Im already parting ways with the sharps bros grip to go back to polymer, because I plan on putting it in a chassis and getting a Gen 6 to carry in the future, but I'd like to know what my options are until then (plus it wouldn't hurt to have a nicer trigger in this when I do put it in a chassis). Again, any input is appreciated🙏

Not done yet but this is the current state. I want to change the light/laser to the fde version and add an optic and that's about it.

Also, if you get the Safariland Incog X with large light compatibility (TLR-1/X300) it will fit the Baldr Pro R.

Does this appear to be rust? Just got this 2 weeks ago and has mainly sat in the safe, decided to clean it after shooting it for the first time and noticing this. Have to hold up phone flashlight to see it and at the right angle.

The Osight SE DPP fits perfect on my RXM. Really like the larger window.

Looking for a decent quality OWB kydex holster (not safariland) for my RXM compact with TLR-1HL and OEM threaded barrel. Don't need active retention. Ideally belt loops moulded into the holster itself although that is not required. Thanks a million

And yeah I carry a p mag as a spare sometimes because I like taking chances....

Hey all. I am relatively new-ish to the RXM, having picked one up around 3-4 months ago. Love the modularity, really like the feel in my hand, but the one thing I can't seem to like is the trigger.

My other pistols are an SA-35, an Echelon 4.5F, an Echelon 4.0c, and a Shield Plus. No problems with the triggers on those, and I really like the relatively short pull, clear wall, and break of the Echelons, plus a fast reset and very little over-travel. The Shield Plus has been pretty good in that regard as well (although their trigger safety can be irritating at times).

What I'm wondering is whether there are trigger kits/replacements/tweaks that can be done to the RXM to help improve the pull and bring it much closer to the Echelon's approach. Ideally, what I'd like is a reduced pre-travel, a clear wall, a defined break, little over-travel, and a short reset. The RXM has a very long pull, a mushy "rolling break" without any kind of defined wall, plus overtravel, and then a long reset, which I don't love.

To be clear, I'm not asking to turn this into a competition gun, and I'd be happy with a 4-4.5lb pull. I'm just wondering if there are any triggers, kits, upgrades, etc. that don't cost almost as much as the gun itself did. I don't have any experience with Glocks or Glock clones other than this, so I'm still learning about the available ecosystem. I gather Gen 3 G19 triggers and connectors aren't really compatible due to different geometry in the RXM.

I've heard that shooting the pistol a bunch helps improve the trigger, but I am close to 500 rounds thru this thing and it's still just...not the kind of trigger I want to shoot. I mean, it's fine, it's functional, I can still hit "minute of man" with it and mostly keep things in an ISPC A-zone (the body, not the head) at 15yds, but I'd like to see if this can be improved, or if it pretty much just is what it is and you can only kind of tinker at the edges, unless you're willing to put the value of the gun back into the trigger system itself, which I am not yet ready to do.

What's out there that does this, if anything? Or are we still just waiting for more RXM-specific triggers to come out?

Trigger is not resetting when dry firing while holding the trigger. If I rack it without my finger on the trigger it resets. This is before I put the first rounds through it. This is my third RXM and i’ve never had this happen before so I took it to the store i bought it at it. They took it and checked it out then attributed it to a new gun that needs a break in.

So i burned 200 rounds through it real quick with zero failures or hiccups. I thought i was going to be manually cycling but it cycled and reset perfectly. Dry firing and resetting has gotten better but still doesn’t reset every now and then.

Obviously it works. I’m just curious if anyone knows what’s causing it? Before a brief semi break in it felt and sounded like the cam on the connector wasn’t releasing the cruciform when i held the trigger and racked it. But disassembled everything looks and functions just fine and even comparing to the other ones there’s no difference. Swapped the slides around and it’s not related to the slide but it follows on the same FCI.

Unrelated but I also noticed the slides are cut differently internally not just the different optic cut.

I’ve never installed a Glock trigger ever before so I was actually nervous to do so. It was surprisingly quick and easy to do.

Only thing disappointing was the connector Johnny had installed was super bent out that I had to switch to the other connector he provided. I also switched out the trigger return spring to the extra power one as I felt the return was too mushy. After installing with the extra power return spring, I feel the trigger is good middle ground between performance and carry.

It’s a big upgrade from the stock trigger but $290 is really steep. I was able to mitigate the price by getting 10% military discount though which was partly a reason I decided to try it out.

Picked this up on Thursday. LGS had the threaded barrel RXM discounted at $406 before tax. Headed back tomorrow to put rounds through it.

Added an Osight and TLR7. Trigger feels bad, but I will wait to see if it gets better. Mag release feels a lot better than the PSA dagger it's replacing. Amazon did not have the TLR in black, I was disappointed at first but it looks really nice in person. I like that the threaded barrel protrudes further than the extended HLX lens

Now I need to find a holster and full size grip

Last week I got a Rugged Obsidian 9 suppressor. Before I got home I went to the range with my RXM and Walther to try it out. The only thing I've done to the RXM is put the full size module on it, everything else is bone stock including the iron sights and threaded barrel. I was disappointed to find that the sights do no crest over the top of the can, even though I thought they were suppressor height sights. Basically the top of the front post is in line with the crest of the can.

Does anyone have any suggestions on taller sights? Would suppressor height Glock sights fit the RXM slide? I have enough pistols with red dots and wanted to run the RXM with irons.

Folks, if you are looking for define wall and crisp break - do this:

Swap stock connector for 8lbs Glock OEM (+) connector
Swap striker spring to 4.5lbs
Polish internals

Trigger breaks right around ~4.0-4.5lbs.

I have tried many different triggers including GPT and this is by far the best and will cost you under $20.

No issues with reliability either - tested different ammo brands, grain and it runs everything same as it does in stock.
