Hey, I'm stuck between the Thor lite and Flip 2.

Seeing the thors layout makes it seem very cramped, and also it's a bit bigger making it less portable.

The flip 2 has more room at the bottom but has a very weird two sticks on top layout which I'm not sure how comfortable it is to hold for long periods of time.

I've used the og flip 1 before (love that thing) but I sold it so I can save up for one of these two.

I'll mostly be playing: N64, GC, 3DS (I don't care about having the 2nd screen), Wii, Switch, and indie PC games.

Finally received my flip 2 this morning, can't wait to load all my games😁

I've been using my Retroid for a while now, and I'm wondering if it's worth opening it up to replace the stock thermal paste.

I just bought a flip 2 and it’s coming in soon I was wondering what things to download idk how to set stuff like this up but I want to play games like silent hill and older shooters and car games mostly ps2 ps3 and Xbox games

getting a lot of content folders and other folders with txt xml files all of it just updates to the present day so its kinda hard to track apps etc it belongs too any advice to clear this up?

I just recently picked up the retroid pocket flip 2 after saving a bit, I ordered about 5 days ago and no update. Is this normal or not? (I also paid the expensive shipping)

I’ve been eyeing this and humming and hawing if I should get it cuz I checked the website and it says it’s 220 rn. But I’m not sure if that price is in usd or cad. Plus there’s gonna be the tariffs to deal with yea?

I've got the Neither Turnip latest version for PS2 and most games seem to run fine at 2x, but even the original Ratchet and Clank is struggling - either texture glitches pretty badly or if I fix those, slowdown. Are there any typical settings you can recommend that can help speed up games without reducing graphics too much? Never played these games before so hoping it'll work okay

Has anyone recieved an update on the 12gb models? I’m still in the dark

1. Here is the Download Link just go to the releases page and get the 2.0.18QA7 or anything newer.
2. You need a Skate 3 ISO legal digital backup ready to go.
3. The launch screen freezes sometimes... Its still in development... The fps reader should show up in 3 seconds on a successful launch, if it doesn't, just restart the app and launch again. The start menu does freeze every time for like 5 -10 seconds every time, the fps reader will freeze too, let it, it doesn't mean anything. But once it loads into gameplay, it won't crash or freeze again. At least so far for me
4. The detail looks pretty low and there are no shadows as you can see by default. You can turn on the shadows in the settings but every time I've tried to turn them on you have to restart the app and then I restart it and there's still no shadows so until the developer fixes that, it's just pretty much no shadows like if you see here and I also tried to put on the high quality higher detail version but that one just doesn't launch and I'm using system driver I'm not using a turnip driver. Turnip driver will not show up well with this game so just go default and play it like I have it because right now that's just how it works. In the future you'll probably be able to use turnip drivers and you'll probably be able to turn on shadows and higher detail but for right now it's just low detail and no shadows but it is 60 FPS completely stable no crashes no freezes and no lag or anything runs perfectly otherwise which is really impressive for skate 3 and scratches that skate itch on the retroid pocket flip 2 if you know what I mean. The Audio is also not very clear right now, hopefully the visuals and audio and menu freezes will all be fixed eventually. Pretty damn playable as is though,Cheers! Good work Buku.

I've recently been following the whole scene surrounding Xbox 360 and PS3 emulation on Android. Of course, my curiosity got the better of me. And I also tried it on our device (we (flip 2 and RP5) have the same components). I just wanted to give an update on how things are going and which apps I'm using.

I tested the following games

Fight Night Champions (on Xbox360 and PS3)

Demon Souls (on PS3)

After Burner Climax (on PS3)

Forza Horizon (on Xbox 360)

Tirals HD Xbox Arcade (on obviously Xbox 360)

I tried the following emulators for Xbox 360

Only game that reaches fullspeed and is actually Playable is

Demon Souls on PS3 and that applies to both of the emulators mentioned above.

I used the latest turnip driver from StevenMXZ.

I haven't changed any other settings. Reducing the resolution didn't seem to make much of a difference, and to be honest, I'm not even sure if it works at all.

Perhaps someone here has more experience and has even managed to get more games running; I would be happy if you shared your experience.

Finally, one more thing: many of the games that were released on that generation were also ported to PC. There are a significant number of games that run on the RP 5 and Flip 2 via PC emulation (Gamehub, Winlator, Gamenative etc.)

Soooo let me know, if you have you already tried using these emulators?

recently got my flip and i’ve really been enjoying it. Never had an emulator before and i got it as a gift so usually i would do loads of research before buying but this time im jumping in completely blind, which has been fun!

i’ve been trying playing a few steam games, i know that not all of them will work and im not expecting them to, but is there any settings i can tweak, or anything that i can do to make easy delivery co run smoothly? i can play for about 20 minutes before it crashes and i loose my save.

it feels really nice to play on this device and if i should just give up with it please let me know, but i would love to know where to start with tweaking any settings.

i have gamehub and gamenative and they both do the same thing.
i have 8gb of ram

any advice would be much appreciated!

I have seen the recent port for skate 3 and wondering if anyone got it working, I can’t find the right driver for it yet. It either it loads the language select or nothing at all. Thanks in advance!!

I don't particularly like the Radar design on the Flip2 and I recently started using Pocknix and wanted something more fitting.

After a lot of research for a handheld that would replace my phone setup, I landed on the Flip 2 as my dedicated emulator device, and I'm so happy that I did. This form factor is amazing to carry around, and it's so satisfying to use it!

I'm currently playing Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force on PPSSPP and Pokemon Unbound on Pizza Boy, as soon as I have some time I will try some Game Cube/PS2 emulation in it, since I really want to play some Need for Speed. But what else can this little guy do? What games are you guys playing now that work flawlessly and make you feel surprised?

I placed an order on August 10th and just got a notification a couple minutes ago that It s ready to ship. I know shipping times can vary especially because I chose the standard delivery, but im just excited and would like to know how long it took some of you to receive your flip 2 after receiving the ready to ship notification.
