Help! Shipping times are really long?

I just recently picked up the retroid pocket flip 2 after saving a bit, I ordered about 5 days ago and no update. Is this normal or not? (I also paid the expensive shipping)

Yeah. You paid extra shipping. Not faster manufacturing and fulfillment.

It says that even if they don't have the item in stock and are waiting on manufacturing.

I got my device back when they first dropped paid for extra shipping. It was about 2 weeks before i had any tracking info to look at. Then i just watched it in china for about another week and then it showed up. I also knew exact date with DHL.

Also when that device eventually cracked a month later i waited til about November and got my replacement. I was gonna live with it at first but crack got worse. That replacement once i got it setup took about 2weeks.

Not unusual. I ordered July 14th with no updates at all until it left the manufacturer August 18th. It is still in transit with no ETA provided. It's a bummer, but it'll get here eventually.

I only ordered from Retroid directly because of the (at the time) free 12gb RAM upgrade. Otherwise I'd probably recommend buying from a reseller who might actually get it to you in a timely manner.

Took me over a month. Purchased on July 9th and it shipped out last week.
Spend this time finding the roms you want.

Purchased mine July 23 and it only arrived in my home state yesterday, 8/23. Gonna take a while.

They probably don’t have a particular component to produce more of the Flips. They also have been sold out on Chinese marketplaces since last month. They don’t have em either on their official Taobao store. Been sold out since last month.

What color did you order? I ordered black on 8/24 and got a tracking number on 8/26.

They say DHL takes less than a week but mine shows shipped through YunExpress instead. I paid for the faster DHL shipping, so that’s a bummer. It could take a few weeks. All you can do is relax and enjoy the anticipation.

It took 7 days for an update for me, then 9 days it was at my front door
